Pros
I have had an overall great experience with Prevue. They're decently priced and their customer service is fantastic.
The software is intuitive, straightforward and easy to use with great "help" features and awesome support.
Customer Service has been outstanding. It has been a product that has received excellent feedback and buy in from managers that are utilizing the system to track applicants.
Each person I spoke to was knowledgeable, friendly and patient. I was pleased by the ease of implementation and navigation through the various actions in the software.
Cons
I can't think of any aspects that are difficult to use or that I dislike.
The tests are often difficult, long/time consuming, intimidating, etc. which has made some of our executive team question if we need the assessments in our recruitment process.
The 'suggested questions' are vague when the candidate is off the curve.
The software is a little cumbersome and confusing for setting up benchmarks/positions and activating.

"Entreflow Consulting Group's use of Prevue"
Overall: This app is really good for anybody who's hiring, this is the tool that you would use to conduct some foreshadowing, where you can figure out what might be some challenges in the future, or figure out some really strong skills that a person has that they might be short selling themselves on.
Pros: There's a lot that we love; Prevue is a psychometric testing app that you can use to test any new candidates, and as well your existing team. The best feature is that you can actually create your own benchmarking that is very specific to the role that you're hiring. Some of their other top features are that it's a reasonably short survey, so it's not something that's going to throw off candidates if they have to sit and spend a whole hour doing a test, it's quite quick to get through. They have their own standard benchmarking within the tool, but you can create your own and you can get your team to do it and create a benchmark based off of what your team is looking for. What’s really cool about this is that if you take something like an accountant role, if you were to take the standard benchmarking, your typical accountant might be a little bit more self-focused in their work and they might not be collaborating with other team members as much. Most accountants, people typically think are not as client facing, or independent workers. However, for Entreflow our accountants need to be client facing, they need to be well-versed with technology, and they also need to work collaboratively in a team. So we are able to create a benchmark for our instance of an accountant; what we want to have for an accountant versus what a typical accountant role might look like.
Cons: I don't think we actually have any. This app does what it needs to do, it's really easy to use. From an implementation perspective it's easy peasy so you actually get a dedicated implementation team that helps you to get it all set up and then as well that it helps you with the benchmarking if you need it.

Overall: It had bene wonderful, can't beat the price, cant beat the customer service, can't beat the validity and reliability, can't beat how custom it is to what we as a company are looking for!
Pros: I love how custom it is, how it conveniently can be sent online and that it holds a record of each candidate. I really love that our company culture is baked in with the benchmarks, and it is so awesome that they continue to improve and add new features! For example, the only thing missing for us was ana ctual culture fit assessment, and they are releasing one! Before that, they released the assessment for integrity and work ethic which is another thing it was missing when shopping around (so it has all the things that the other ones mightve had a leg up on them with - so officially theyre the best. Especially when you consider the validity and accuracy of the type of psychometric test they use (big 5, whereas other ones like DISC just don't have the same scientific backing)
Cons: Sometime the portal is a little clunky. They do fix the bugs quick though. I do sometimes get logged out without it telling me, so no names come up in the search. I then think they didn't do it and resend the link (though now I refresh and re-sign in to ensure they won't come up after that (they often do! It only takes a sec). I think a "We logged you out" screen would help this!

Pros: Clean look, Organized, Good notes/status feature that allows us to see comments about applicants. Like that we can transfer candidate information across different applications
Cons: Appears to be issues with searching candidate name/history. will not let me add in applicant if it says already in system, but when searching that candidate, no results found

Overall: I've really enjoyed working with Prevue. From the intake sales calls to implementation and execution, they are top-tier professionals who dive into the weeds to ensure you are confident in the system your providing.
Pros: We selected Prevue because of the level of customization and the individualized support. You can really cater the assessments to what your organization is looking for at the role level and we sincerely appreciate how they walk you through that.
Cons: Our contract does not include Skills Assessments, which would have been nice to be thrown in but not a deal breaker!
"Birdcall Review"
Pros: I like the user friendly platform. Its easy for our candidates to access and get questions based on the assessment for continued interview process. I really like that we can bench against our other team members to get more accurate fit for the company.
Cons: Sometimes when people start the assessment they can't get back in without us resending it. Would like the length of it be shortened if possible down to 15-20 mintues.
"Loving Prevue"
Overall: Love it! The prevue team is always kind, helpful, and easy to get in touch with. The system is user friendly and very provides very accurate reporting.
Pros: The ease of use, straight forward programming, and fitting, detailed reports.
Cons: Mainly the cost, plan options are limited. Since we are such a small group it would be cost effective for us to limit certain features available on Prevue in order to reduce annual cost.
"Prevue is the go to solution for Recruting"
Overall: Prevue delivered what they promised from the first day. Training support was amazing, customer support and service is fantastic. They are Canadian, this was a major factor in our selection process.
Pros: Very easy to use. Customizable benchmarks make job fit easier to align to our needs.
Cons: Nothing about Prevue is a Con for my recruitment process.
"We didn't know what we didn't know!"
Overall: Our company was hiring for a top management position. All candidates got and took a Prevue Assessment. After interviews, but before we looked at the Prevue results, the [sensitive content hidden] and I named the candidate that we wanted to offer the position to. We then looked at their score, which showed a few discrepancies: areas that were important to us, but that the candidate lacked. We got on the phone with the [sensitive content hidden] of his previous position who confirmed during the conversation what the Prevue Assessment told us about this candidate. Needless to say, it saved us from making a wrong hire!

Pros: Sending out assessments to potential candidates has been a huge help when it comes to evaluating a candidate. The benchmark feature easily allows us to determine if a candidate has the correct skill set for a specific position before making a hiring decision.

Overall: Prevue is very proactive and spends the time to follow up with you to ensure you are satisfied.
Pros: Prevue makes vetting candidates very simple. Their software drills into the candidates in ways regular interview questions cannot. The assessments also provide excellent questions for subsequent interviews.
Cons: I have not used the employee features to gain insight into employee wellbeing and fit, but I would like to.

Pros: I enjoyed the ability to customize branches, to customize notifications sent to the candidates and to initiate the assessment. I also appreciate the recommended interview questions on the completed assessment.
Cons: It can be challenging to set up branches and benchmarks but our account representative assist with both.

Overall: I've moved to just the quick survey by the manager in the position to set it up as they just do not have the time to take the longer pre-assessment to help build them prior to assigning them to applicants.
Pros: We like the ability to gain insight into our applicants. It helps us gain a more holistic picture along with their application/resume when deciding who we would like to interview for the position.It is also a helpful tool to use when working on team building and trying to better understand how each of us works and communicates.

Overall: We were able to quickly and effectively screen for a general technical aptitude level without implementing a highly complex or costly solution. It was a successful implementation into the assessments for our high volume candidates.
Pros: The demo and customer support team at setup was fantastic, understanding our needs and highlighting a few viable options for our assessment requirements. It was very easily and quickly implemented for use within our team. The pricing was extremely competitive and not being required to have a bigger enterprise style agreement in place was key to getting exactly what we needed implemented at the top of our process.
Cons: The lack of customizability in the actual assessments was a small drawback. There were some non-significant detail fields in our data-entry assessment that it would have been nice to swap out. US addresses for Canadian addresses for example.

Pros: We use Prevue in our recruitment and selection process mainly, firstly to narrow down job applicants and create a shortlist aligned to the role benchmarks and lastly to assess personality and team fit when we approach final interviews. The platform is very easy to use and the reports are easy to interpret. I like the updated interface of Prevue and find it easier to navigate. The support has also been fantastic, from initial onboarding to the ongoing support and check ins.
Cons: The corporate planning and development reports are insightful for senior leadership, but can be a little overwhelming for managers to interpret or put to good use.

Overall: I've been using Prevue for over six (6) years, as a super administrator on the account. Having gone through my third full-cycle implementation recently, I can say with confidence that Prevue has really augmented their customer success game over the last few years, which had led to increased adoption, and anticipation of using the product across the entire organization. The validity and accuracy the platform produces have won over hiring managers who have traditionally been skeptical about like-products. The overall ease of use and ability to establish job-specific benchmarks within a few minutes has become invaluable. I just can't imagine my full-cycle talent acquisition function without Prevue.
Pros: Responsive sales and post-sales support. Excellent support for administrators, end-users, and customers/candidates.
Cons: Some limitations for custom sorting and displaying results.

Pros: Prevue Assessments helped me to thoroughly assess an applicant before accepting him or her for the next step. It has taken a quarter of my tasks and made my life somehow easier and faster. The ability to compare candidates is such an amazing feature. With its skill testing feature, it can easily assess an applicant, allowing me to determine traits which are applicable to our company.
Cons: It seems like it allows a minimal amount of applicants per export. It crashes every time I try to export a few hundred at a time. I am hoping that this can be fixed in the next updates.

Overall: Assist clients with their hiring process and using this product as one of the steps they take. They are pleased with the results of the quality of the candidates that they hire - due to the steps they use to screen in and out candidates - - - one of those steps is the Prevue test.
Pros: Easy to manage test results, and track usage and history of usage by department. Prevue team is very receptive and good with clients when they want to set up new benchmarks.
Cons: Sometimes there are issues with self-registration tested. Can't export more than 200 test results at one time. When you put in 'from' date for looking at history of tests taken it sorts immediately before you get a chance to put in the second date and then push search. Then you need to back and put in the second date to get the timeframe that you want.
