Prevue has been a valuable tool for our Talen Acquisition efforts. Since implementing this tool, we have seen a reduction in turnover. \[sensitive content hidden\], our CSM is always responsive and ensures our needs are met.

Pros

Great value for money compared to the competitors in the space. The assessments are very customizable to ensure that the benchmarks set for roles are aligned to the needs of the organization. Prevue assessments provide valuable insight during the candidate interview process which can then be utilized to best support the candidate as an employee within the organization.

Cons

I would be great for the platform to integrate with our HRIS system to further streamline our process.

### "Great tool for an inside look at your applicants"

Overall, I am pleased. It serves as a great tool to determine personality fit with potential department co-workers and overall fit for each position. Even simpler, it is a great way to see if candidates will invest the time/energy past a simple job application, thus a way to weed out those who are not truly interested in your company.

Pros

Very thorough information that helps we prepare interview questions. 9 times out of 10, when I share (segments) of their results, candidates comment that the assessment is "spot on." Also - Prevue assigns a representative who is happy to assist with questions/needs. So many vendors these days expect you to email their Customer Support so I appreciate the personal touch, even though I am often too busy to meet with him! But he offers!

Cons

Occasionally, one segment will contradict another; however the suggested questions help to dig further.

As a recruitment coordinator, I regularly send the motivation and personality test to candidates in our processes, and I generally find the platform very easy to use, both for us as administrators and for our candidates. It offers a good user experience, and the test results are quite comprehensive and visual, making them easy to read. It also offers the option to download reports in Spanish, English, and French, which is a huge plus for us as an international organization.

Pros

I really like that it's easy to use, with an ideal testing time for candidates (at least for the motivation and personality tests), and that it facilitates visual interpretation of the assessment results. It also offers the option to download results in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. The results are always constructive and avoid negative judgments toward candidates.

Cons

Perhaps due to limited customization, there is a lack of flexibility to adapt assessments to specific needs, such as changing fields in forms or adjusting the duration of access links.

We have had an amazing experience with Prevue. Our experience has been especially positive in some of our executive level roles, as we can see exactly what a candidate may be weaker/stronger at and gauge that from their interview.

Pros

The prevue assessments give value to our company by listing whether a candidate can be a potential fit for the role. Specifically, I like the questions that can be asked in interviews about potential dealbreakers that Prevue generously gives!

Cons

We have had no real negatives. Our company does believe a potential candidate could be in a bad headspace when doing the assessment, therefore skewing candidates, but this is true of any assessment.

Customizability, and the various types of reports you can pull. We also love that it uses the Big 5 which is the only psychometric testing that is reliable over time.

Sometimes the interface has a longer learning curve for new team members, but they get there

Pros

It is a very intuitive, quite comprehensive and useful tool for filtering people in a hiring process.

Cons

I don´t have any problem with this platform. It makes my life easy and I can see the results of each candidate.

Assessments giving error messages, or stopping on people while they are trying to complete. They then have to contact us and we have to reboot or reset the assessment.

I've really enjoyed working with Prevue. From the intake sales calls to implementation and execution, they are top-tier professionals who dive into the weeds to ensure you are confident in the system your providing.

Pros

We selected Prevue because of the level of customization and the individualized support. You can really cater the assessments to what your organization is looking for at the role level and we sincerely appreciate how they walk you through that.

Cons

Our contract does not include Skills Assessments, which would have been nice to be thrown in but not a deal breaker!

They are great to gauge if their personality and different matrix to see if the person would fit in the role. And once in a team can provide their team the different personalities of the team and how to engage them.

Wide range of reporting capabilities from hire to team dynamic reporting.

Cons

The wide range of reporting can also lead to confusion as to which report you want.

So far its been good although I have not had a great deal of opportunity to use it. One deterrent are the costs associated to using them is quite high.

Pros

Having the option to use assessment and include them in the recruitment process is amazing. I love having that option and allowing the Hiring Manager the opportunity to use it.

Cons

I don't know how accurate they are. With these types of test, some candidates can outsmart the test and you still don't get a true picture of the candidate. There is no solution as this is the issue with all testing tools.

We just signed on for our third year with Prevue. You can tailor the test to the needs of your company. Our entire executive team reads the candidates Prevue when we are getting ready to do their interview . Helps the team understand their strengths and opportunities so we can craft questions to that.

There was nothing about Prevue that did not work for us

Sending out assessments to potential candidates has been a huge help when it comes to evaluating a candidate. The benchmark feature easily allows us to determine if a candidate has the correct skill set for a specific position before making a hiring decision.

There not much to say here. Prevue is super simple to use and has proven to be very beneficial for our team.

Pros

Prevue makes vetting candidates very simple. Their software drills into the candidates in ways regular interview questions cannot. The assessments also provide excellent questions for subsequent interviews.

Cons

I have not used the employee features to gain insight into employee wellbeing and fit, but I would like to.

I've moved to just the quick survey by the manager in the position to set it up as they just do not have the time to take the longer pre-assessment to help build them prior to assigning them to applicants.

Pros

We like the ability to gain insight into our applicants. It helps us gain a more holistic picture along with their application/resume when deciding who we would like to interview for the position.It is also a helpful tool to use when working on team building and trying to better understand how each of us works and communicates.

Cons

The tests are often difficult, long/time consuming, intimidating, etc. which has made some of our executive team question if we need the assessments in our recruitment process. I've countered with the benefits, but we may just start using them for high-level positions.

I was not part of that decision and the individual who was has retired.

We were able to quickly and effectively screen for a general technical aptitude level without implementing a highly complex or costly solution. It was a successful implementation into the assessments for our high volume candidates.

Pros

The demo and customer support team at setup was fantastic, understanding our needs and highlighting a few viable options for our assessment requirements. It was very easily and quickly implemented for use within our team. The pricing was extremely competitive and not being required to have a bigger enterprise style agreement in place was key to getting exactly what we needed implemented at the top of our process.

Cons

The lack of customizability in the actual assessments was a small drawback. There were some non-significant detail fields in our data-entry assessment that it would have been nice to swap out. US addresses for Canadian addresses for example.

I like the new reports that they most recently added.

I still find the website a little difficult to navigate at times. For example the creating of positions and benchmarks

We chose Prevue over 2 other options. I cannot remember the name of the previous options as it's too far back, but I remember it was a whole implementation process and software, whereas Prevue is directly online and a lot simpler.

I've been using Prevue for over six (6) years, as a super administrator on the account. Having gone through my third full-cycle implementation recently, I can say with confidence that Prevue has really augmented their customer success game over the last few years, which had led to increased adoption, and anticipation of using the product across the entire organization. The validity and accuracy the platform produces have won over hiring managers who have traditionally been skeptical about like-products. The overall ease of use and ability to establish job-specific benchmarks within a few minutes has become invaluable. I just can't imagine my full-cycle talent acquisition function without Prevue.

Pros

Responsive sales and post-sales support. Excellent support for administrators, end-users, and customers/candidates.

Cons

Some limitations for custom sorting and displaying results.

I love that the interview questions are based on the candidates answer. I also love that you can use the assessments with a Team Leader to help grow and understand their team.

Cons

It took a little too long to set up the individual jobs due to my employees not taking the metric assessments.

Pros

Prevue Assessments helped me to thoroughly assess an applicant before accepting him or her for the next step. It has taken a quarter of my tasks and made my life somehow easier and faster. The ability to compare candidates is such an amazing feature. With its skill testing feature, it can easily assess an applicant, allowing me to determine traits which are applicable to our company.

Cons

It seems like it allows a minimal amount of applicants per export. It crashes every time I try to export a few hundred at a time. I am hoping that this can be fixed in the next updates.
