I'd recommend it to anyone, but I do think you need to be a designer to use it properly. Pros There are so many easy ways to create templates in Unbounce. Plus, they are real subject matter experts on conversion. I turn to them often when it comes to creating new things and using their resources. Cons There are some limitations in terms of design. It's sometimes difficult to drag and drop things in. Plus, they don't make it that easy to align different items in your design. You don't need any coding skills and the landing page templates are extremely helpful. Cons The advanced reporting metrics are lacking a bit and it would be nice to have some more templates to choose from. Pros Very customizable page design. You can drag and drop every element, and really customize every aspect of the page in a way most other page builders doesn't allow. Cons Not very user friendly. While you can customize the size of every page element, having to drag and drop every corner in order to resize even simple elements makes it a pain to work with. Additionally, the page designs are not very compatible/responsive to mobile screen sizes. It is extremely easy to create your landing pages with great design, not only with all of the templates available but with your own designs. You don´t really need to know how to create or design websites. Cons The initial setup is easy, but if you want to dig deeper into all of the different functionalities you will probably need a bit more of patience and time to learn how to use it. Although it is the best landing page solution in the market I would say it is probably a better solution for bigger corporations or agencies than freelancers as it is not cheap. Pros The really simple way you can optimise and test out new landing pages for Lead Generation. The testing features are superb and we have been able to get some fantastic insights for clients. Compared to others I use like Instapage it is a little more complex and less intuitive to use but has more features and possibilities for customization. Cons It's not very easy to get going with if you're not a savvy software user. For entry level landing page builders (marketers), it will take some time before you get the hang of it in a way that enables you to bang out landing pages in quick succession. Cons Not much online help when creating or publishing the landing page. Syncing the LP traffic to your Google Analytics page can be challenging. I can manage multiple marketing campaigns, check the one that has the best conversions and attract customers in one click! Pros Unbounce allows creating compelling web pages in a simple way without any coding skill. The builder is really intuitive and offers many functionalities to create landing pages, sticky bars and pop-ups. The A/B test function is excellent to check what content best fits your marketing needs. It also offers effective support to any customer request. All the pages could be set up both for desktop and mobile version. By changing the view you might be able to see the preview on different devices and edit it in real time. Cons When you start using Unbounce you might find some difficulty understanting how to hide the elements on the mobile version. Don't worry, ask, try and learn. It is only tricky, not impossible. I recommend it for anyone searching to creat a well formatted landing page for a campaign. Pros I have used unbounce for creating single page landing pages and the interface is very workable. Learning how to edit elements was simple and straightforward. Cons If you create a form on your landing page you cannot use recaptcha which I thought was limiting. Pros It is very easy to create and customize landing pages. Unbounce has a large template library, and you can drag and drop elements easily. It also has many native integrations (Wordpress, Hubspot, etc.) Cons I've only run into two issues: mobile versions of landing pages take a lot of time to edit (they don't just snap in place if you make changes to a template), and editing page elements is not always intuitive. It's easy to navigate and integrates seamlessly with additional products. Pros The best part of Unbounce is the software's interface. You don't need to code to create beautiful landing pages. You can test multiple versions or easily recreate similar landing pages for different audiences. All of this is extremely easy to do within the interface. I also like that integrating Unbounce with software like Mailchimp/Constant Contact is quick and easy. Cons Honestly, I don't have a lot of negative feedback about Unbounce. Cons Nothing much as it solves the problem of lead leakage and the landing page is build to allows users to submit its details quickly. Review Source VR Verified Reviewer Consultant Political Organization Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Decent interface with big limitations, poor uptime, and awful support" May 16, 2019 3.0 Unfortunately we're stuck there for now but definitely looking to move when convenient to do so! Pros The interface is very simple so any member of the team is able to create landing pages. They have integrations with Zapier that allow us to feed information between landing pages and CRMs. Cons Oh boy. First of all, they promise 99% uptime but their reliability is actually quite bad and they don't warn their customers when there is downtime (I presume because they hope they can fix before we notice). Their code rendering has big limitations. For example, simply styling a bullet is a massive chore. They also don't support many basic functions (tabs, collapsible pages, etc.) Anytime you have an issue with something, their support is slow and pretty unhelpful. An actual quote from a support agent: "we are not designers, so there is just so much we can support when it comes to custom code" -- this is simply because I was trying to change an ordered list from numerals to lower alphabetic, but their code rendering was not allowing this. Similarly, when trying to create a collapsible page, Unbounce support initially refused to help (despite providing the code). Their support is very slow and will take minutes to reply to a chat, but if you take more than a min or so to reply they'll close the chat assuming you're not there. Sorry if I don't stare at a screen waiting for a support person who takes forever to respond waiting for the response so I can respond right away. Oh - and remember how I talked about poor uptime? Never once has Unbounce offered compensation for losses caused by their terrible uptime. Review Source DM Dean M. Cons However, their refund policy & customer service is terrible. I would be very careful starting a subscription with Unbounce as we were just left out of pocket 12 months ($1500 AUD). We spoke to their customer service team and they were rude & unwilling to reason.
