We use the built-in features to update pages each month to give us an at-a-glance picture of the month-over-month performance of our landing pages. Cons The page republishing feature does take a little time. I do not know if other competitors have a faster "republish" option, so I can't say that this is a weakness of Unbounce or just all landing page programs. I genuinely enjoy the time that I spend using Unbounce to create aestetically pleasing and powerful landing pages and I believe that using Unbounce can be attributed to a large part of my company's success. Pros As a company that frequently builds landing pages for various projects and uses landing pages to drive traffic for specific campaigns, Unbounce comes in handy on a near-daily basis. Unbounce allows the creative freedom to make a page look dynamic and unique and using the tools within the software the limits to which one can make a landing page are seemingly endless. When a need for distinguishing unique campaigns (both visually and fucntionally) arises, Unbounce is there to help. I like how well it work with my paid advertsing Pros I like that you can drag and drop the contents of the page with ease. Cons When doing the mobile version of the landing page, it messes up the layout on the desktop version and vice versa. Cons Their support used to be good, but lately every time you ask something they only send you to an article that does not explain what you are asking for. February 21, 2016 5.0 We were one of those agencies who set the destination URL of all ad campaigns of our clients to www.client.com - seriously. Why? Because it was so frign hard to deal with developers (of all types of IQs) of clients. One time, we had to deal with a "my wife's brothers son designed our site so we're going to have to seek his approval". I died. He actually wouldn't make some changes because he thought it's against the tao of web design that he mastered in all of his 17 years of life on earth. How cute. Eventually we had to say bye to that client, but that's another story. Then we came across Unbounce who not only had a kickass app to easily make landing pages, but had a team that passionately guided you through it if you ever felt there's a hurdle. Now, I'm not sure what Unbounce compares against and there's probably a zillion other landing page apps - but I will guarantee you, you will not find support like Unbounce anywhere else. They are quick, and almost always with the right answer in the first reply. You might be the McGyver of all web apps and might think "support? what's that?", but believe me - there will come a time. Pros: 1) Ultra kick-ass support. 2) Community driven - yes, your feedback and feature requests will be heard. 3) That dude Oli, he's rockstarring the interwebs with the 4 corners of conversion. I mean, why not use the software the guy co-founded? Two birds in one stone yeah? Everyone else talks about his prophecies, but they don't have a tool to implement them. 4) If creativity is out for the holidays (it's ok, happens to everyone), and you don't like the gatrillion themes they already have for you to download (pre-geared for success btw), go buy a theme that is submitted by Unbounce users! Cons: 1) They don't have a cape, because they ought to. 2) Their newer support staff better hurry up and fill those big shoes the 'legacy' support staff left. Review Source sB scott B. FOr advanced functionality you may want to look elsewhere. Pros Unbounce makes it relatively easy to build landing pages, even for someone with limited design experience. Cons There are certain features I'd like to see, such as dynamic geolocation insertion, that are not included. You have to use custom javascript, which can have mixed results. The reporting feature are also very sparse. It integrates well with marketing automation tools like Pardot, Salesforce, ect... Cons It wasn't super mobile friendly when I used it. I've been using Unbounce at various orgs for the past 5 years - it's the easiest landing page builder to use because it's basically drag and drop. I wish I could build all websites with Unbounce! Even compared to something like Squarespace, there is just so much flexibility with it; you can literally move a block to wherever you like. Being able to see conversion is also a huge part of Unbounce and we've been able to improve landing pages using Unbounce's A/B testing. Cons Only thing I wish it had were conversion metrics data separated by desktop vs. mobile. Great for someone with no experience with building websites. Cons When you make a mobile version of your landing page, you need to change the layout manually. It is a lot of work and takes time. Issue resolved faster then I thought it would tke. Pros I like that the landing pages are fast. People tend to not stick around with websites with slow loading time. Cons It has all the features I needed. But the exit pop up blocker could be better. I know exit pop up for mobile is really hard to get right. Almost everyone that visit my pages are using a phone. Reason for choosing Unbounce I wanted to try the AMP page. The AMP page I completed loaded completely in under 2.5 seconds average. Switched from [Squarespace](https://www.capterra.com/p/143461/Squarespace/) Squarespace page was loading to slow even with their coverpages. The load time for me was over 9 seconds on the main page and coverpage. As a result, my bounce rate was high. Which also means less money coming in. November 23, 2021 3.0 I wish there were additional analytics options for pages offered. Pros The editor for most pages works well. There are options for using custom CSS and adapting different stock templates. The service is reliable and consistent. We have hundreds of pages that we can reuse and adjust as needed. Cons The mobile design feature set and how it interacts with the desktop version feel like an afterthought. Trying to design a landing page mobile first is overly challenging. If they had a heat map functionality, I would prefer Unbounce over other landing page programs. Pros I like the ease of use for landing pages. I can easily test different variations of a page and evaluate the results. It is also very easy to set up goals and linking on the page without the need of a technical person on my team. Cons There is no heat mapping feature within Unbounce. I like Instapage for this reason because it allows me to evaluate more within the overall design and user experience of the page. If you do landing pages often, I deeply recommend it! Pros With Unbounce, it was easy creating landing pages, who perform best on mobiles. It has a great template gallery, that you can customize as you wish. Cons The user experience can be worked on. For example, when browsing templates: you can't just open them in a new tab - you have to preview them and the o back and find the place you left off. Also, the spaces inter rows are difficult to achieve, the way you want and the fact that you always have to keep your hands on the keyboard, if you have to edit the page to be responsive.
