Pros: With is integration with tools such as Sketch, is very easy to export artboards into InVision and quickly build a simple prototype that can be shared to desktop and mobile devices. It also has a growing environment of useful tools such as Freehand (a collaborative sketching tool) that integrates with other InVision solutions.

Cons: InVision does not have many options for developing advanced interactive prototypes. If you need to build a prototype with custom animations and timeline managing (for instance, easing effects) you'll need to resort to another tool.

Overall: InVision is a great tool for simple prototypes that you can easily share with anyone. It has integrations with design tools such as Sketch and it also has a growing environment of other features that can help with the design process, such as collaborative sketching.

Pros: I am amazed with the ease and speed in which you can make a web layout, so present a design before moving it to development, practically do not need to touch code.

Cons: It is a bit expensive, and both the animation or effect of some elements does not work as it should and is not editable at all.

Overall: In general it is a great idea for those who do not use much code but who work together for developers, we know that some developers do not have the same aesthetics for the design and for that this Invision, predesigns the style of your web.

Pros: Best software for designing and prototyping at the moment. Easily bridge designer and developers. Frontend dev can easily export assets. Easy to share design.

Cons: Pricing a bit high, but it worth the features. Takes time to fully understand the user interface. More suitable for placing all the created element rather than create element from stratch.

Pros: This is a great tool for a Team located in a few offices, which allows sharing UI screens online. I like version control and a comments tool, which allows placing tickets throughout the design. Works really well when somebody works remotely.

Cons: Downloading images from the system can be a challenge. Besides, the system would benefit from a wider range of animation between screens.

Pros: Great tool communication among a team and/or between designer-gutter, where you can add different activities and thus to interlace them.

Cons: With inVision as in the other tools of this type should be pre-design
the screens before you get them, the rest is very good tool.

Cons: The price is a little much for what I can afford, but the free version has been very helpful and useful so far.

Pros: I love how simple it is to integrate with InVision - we have it plugged into our slack channels, and are easily able to pull our designs in from Sketch and link it with our JIRA boards. The tool is exceptional, and I'm so glad our team is using it. Viewing feedback has never been more simple.

Cons: It'd be nice if we could add interactions / animation to stand alone screens - with the product as it is, you can only animate from one screen to the next screen.

Pros: Invision is great for spinning up high fidelity mockups from UI designs stored elsewhere. We used it effectively to put something together in a short space of time for a client demo.

Cons: I wish that the pages could be made more responsive. Obviously, there are some limitations of what can be done with static images though.

Pros: Ease of use and ease of collaboration. Additionally the linkup with various cloudstorage helps a lot to stay synced. Ease of linking up various wireframes to creat mock websites. I like the fact that the basic app is free without too much data harvest.
I used this in my previous job with Tansatech, not now.

Cons: Templates are not really as great. I preferred making sites from my sketches instead. Sometimes the Artboard doesnt display things after adding due to memory issues.

Overall: Made wireframe mockups for clients and helped them design website layouts.

Pros: Neat tool to use to present websites that you have built and need to show a client and there are so many things you can do with this software. You can make incredible prototypes of whatever you need which is really great!

Cons: There was only one time that InVision was in use and screwed up what the website looked like by stretching it, but it has only happened once! Besides that I haven't had any other problems!

Pros: I love how easy it is for my team to communicate, share, and iterate on products we're designing. It's so easy to work quickly and efficiently with InVision. And, the mood boards have been instrumental for helping us work with our clients.

Cons: I wish InVision was more compatible with Adobe XD. However, InVision Studio has just been released, and I suspect that it will become one of the industry standards, which will make XD unnecessary for my team.

Pros: (not taking into account the new invision studio) This software is a little simple in terms of prototyping, but is a much needed tool for any designers that need feedbacks from either the client or team members. No software is as user friendly in my opinion.

Pros: - Great application to demo designs to clients or stakeholders.

- Obtain feedback from clients easily with the comment feature.

Cons: - The load time on viewing a particular design is exceptionally high.

- Pasting links to a specific design often malfunction - leading the user not to the design, but to the overview page.

- Page length is limited, and for particularly long pages, the deliverable is often two designs (or, pages).

Overall: This software is easy to use on both the production side and the client side. Love it!

Pros: Invision helps us organize our files and prototypes. The engineers find it helpful to see the measurements of all the designs so that they can develop, and invision serves its purpose when it comes to the best prototyping tool in the market. I prefer this tool over any other (proto.io) etc because it has the canva plugin for sketch and the user experience is beautiful!

Cons: Invision doesn't have the option to put video gifs into designs. What I mean by that is: if I have a screen, say a computer screen designed on a pop up and I want to input a square gif into that computer screen. I can't do that... I would love this capability for things like guidance.

Overall: Invision is the best product in the market for prototyping! The plugin for Canvas within Sketch is magical and makes my life super easy as a designer, and a UX Researcher for testing the products.

Pros: The fact of simulating a predesigned template and testing the functions that you will have and can have for the design of a web is great, especially helps to stylize very well the front-end of a web or apps and provides a great communication with your customers and equipment.

Cons: The interface seems intuitive but it is not, its complexity is based on adding the functions that "should take" the web or app that you are creating, it's just a matter of getting used to it.

Overall: I never get bored of working with InVision since it allows a total flexibility in its tools, it has many options to prove in terms of the finishing of the templates.

Pros: We use InVision for designing our web projects/websites pre-development. Their 'freehand' tool is superb, as it allows us to create our ideas by hand and outline our vision for the project.

Cons: As far as we are aware, to fully use the product, you need to have access to .psd files, or photoshop. We didn't have this when we first started our agency and it limited us only to the 'freehand' tool.

Pros: I absolutely love the flexibility of collaboration on this tool! Had not used it before at previous companies, but as an Email Marketer, being able to provide timely feedback on designs is important, especially as we go through with multiple stakeholders and multiple rounds. The ability to leave comments directly on the specific item you're talking about it is priceless.

Cons: The only thing I dislike about the software is how to stay added to a project. Probably entirely user error here since I'm not in the software day to day, but I've noticed that after I've reviewed and added feedback for a project, later on if I want to reference it again, my permissions seem to have expired and I can no longer access the project.

Overall: Totally streamlined and well organized review and feedback process! Best tool to help keep things clear when many cooks are in the kitchen.

Pros: The best thing about this is that it provides a simple way to create interactive prototypes and share with clients. Before I was told about Invision, I had to spend hours creating gifs, video explanations, etc, on top of trying to find a secure way to share and get feedback from clients for WIP. It's VERY easy to use, as well as intuitive.

Cons: The interface could use some work, and also some of the controls could be a little snappier. Some of the clicks when adding controls don't seem to be 100% responsive right away sometimes.

Pros: Invision is a must for a technical product team. As a designer, I use it daily to share designs with my product team (devs/QA/PM), receive feedback, test prototypes with users. It is the only tool of its caliber that can handle all my team's needs. Plus, they have the best design blog I have ever read. It integrates seamlessly with Sketch, which makes exporting my designs an effortless process. Their new Design System Manager is a must too!

Cons: The main fault I have found in Invision is its workflow for designs in progress. Since it integrates so seamlessly with Sketch, when I make a change it is automatically pushed to Invision through their Craft plugin. However, if a developer has already started working on a story with that specific prototype, there is no easy way to notify them of the change that occurred. This often leads to minor issues with inconsistencies.

Pros: With InVision you can design amazing screens, it's main objective is to design for web and mobile. You can adapt and make working designs in minutes. The interfase is really intuitive and the tools just work great together. Another great feature is the Sketch import option, so you can design on Sketch App and upload to make a prototype.

Cons: If you want more characteristics you have to pay. The monthly plans are a little bit expensive for graphic designers, specially if there are another and more powerful prototyping tools.

Overall: It's fast and very simple to use, the collaboration feature is great, particularly when you are working with a team.

Cons: Unfortunately they took away the most heavily used feature for our organization, which was the "liveshare" component and replaced it with Freehand, which is clunky at best. Pros: It allows you to be connected with other people, to show the design works with others, and at the same time facilitates mobile prototypes and high fidelity web. This tool is ideal for an exchange of ideas between designers.

Cons: Due to its weight, it often makes the device if it does not have much space, it becomes slow, which is somewhat overwhelming for the person who is using this tool.

Overall: A better control of my time, thanks to its easy access, you can make the designs with less time than using another tool.

Pros: - Ease of prototype building. It is great to be able to quickly show product managers how a series of screens function.
- Easy to share links and comments
- Ability to automatically upload screens and create interactive prototype from Sketch.

Cons: - PDF support
- Would love to create and add wireframes.
- InVision could work better with large amount of screens. Once we have about 200 screens, it moves incredibly slow.

Overall: As UI/UX designers, we use InVision every single day to share product mockups with other teams and departments within our company. InVision allows us to iterate quickly on designs and get feedback directly within the app.

Pros: I love the ability to comment directly on designs. It makes the design review process simple for our clients. I also love that it integrates with Sketch.

Cons: Only con is the lack of responsive features. This is difficult because we mainly design websites. They also have limited customer support, but we've never run into an issue with this.

Pros: The thing I like most about InVision is how cutting edge and new of a service this tool provides. Our team uses it every day to present our mockups, provide feedback. It has some nice built in featured for transitions and overlays to lay on top of your static jpgs/pdf. A must have tool in a designers toolkit.

Cons: The thing I dislike the most about InVision is it seems like they tinker with things too much which causes buggs for a day or two. To their credit it seems like they fix them timely but feels like its their own fault messing with the product that already works.

Pros: Great simple, and easy to use software for testing feasibility of wireframes, and basic prototypes. You can easily show the navigation of a site, and give clients a contextual understanding of how a prospective design will look in a browser (this makes a big difference with presentations)

Sketch and Photoshop plugins are a great tool.

Cons: For users not able to use the Sketch and Photoshop plugins, uploading in the web browser can be buggy sometimes, and doesn't handle large projects/uploads well.

Very limited animation (specifically on desktop prototypes). It's felt really stagnant in this regard for quite some time, but with Invision Studio being released soon this should revitalise this part of the Invision experience!

Pros: - Easy commenting ability that works even for the less tech-savvy folks at my job
- Clear and clean email notifications mean a better response rate when I ask for feedback through the application
- Ability to set states (in progress, needs approval, etc.) for mockups and to notify folks when a mockup changes state
- Distinction between notes and comments, and ability to resolve comments so that they're hidden but not lost
- Ability to easily create interactive prototypes for presentation and testing
- iPhone app makes it possible for me to view and interact with prototypes on my phone - so nice!
- Integration with Photoshop makes it easy to give devs pixel-perfect info about design elements (see note in Cons)
- Ability to organize and categorize mockups within a project

Cons: - Prototyping tool lacks some features (ex. ability to specify a compressed version of a sticky header, rather than using the full version on scroll). Note they seem to be actively working on the prototyping features, though.
- When mockups change drastically, sometimes comments and interactive hotspots can be lost
- The developer tool provides info based on the shape/size of Photoshop elements, and not their actual contents (so text boxes that are larger than the text can skew the readings for pixel distance)
- Some of my mockups are shown isolated on white backgrounds, some on dark gray. This isn't a big deal, but as a designer it bothers me. Wish I knew why it was happening.
- They directly and without my knowledge contacted collaborators that I had added to the software - this resulted in some disgruntled co-workers and slowed down the internal adoption rate. (However, when I spoke with them about this they said they'd try to make sure it never happened again, and it seems that they've kept that promise.)

Pros: I use the application daily and love it so much! It looks good, keeps the version history of the screens and has a terrific comments mechanism, which allows my customers to highlight what they like about the design and what needs to be changed

Pros: InVision is a great tool to create and link prototypes. It is very easy to use and to configure. You can select a lot of devices to link so the possibilities are a lot. Also, they offer a plugin that helps you uploading your designs from Sketch or Photoshop, this is very useful to save time exporting the designs. It adds value to a client when you show them a close look to the flow of an interface, this is what InVision is made for.

Cons: In general, this software is well done but sometimes, when you upload a design, it takes a time to update it in the platform. I think that the price for the pro version is well balanced compared with all the things you can have from it.

Overall: It is very useful for a client to know how the flow of an interface works. Also, you save a lot of time explaining to a client how and where a button will take you in an experience. InVision makes you look like a real professional.

Cons: What I've found in using it with smaller teams is that is can be lacking some perks that would help smaller teams (like ours) adopt it for everything. It's a brilliant way to prototype interfaces, but managing other types of designs can be fickle. Not all of our clients understand how to use this system, but I don't blame InVision for this. It is important to be sure that your clients are familiar with feedback tools before sending this to them.

Pros: Invision has been a great discovery for us in the company, because our UX team and design have been able to make very good proposals for the projects, in addition to allowing comments on the wireframes and the models made, the client can send their changes or their opinions.

Pros: Providing you don't overload it with too much content at once, it's a pretty decent solution for sharing ideas and gathering feedback.

Cons: Using it as a reviewer of content, particularly decks of content that are image-heavy and very long, I have found it to be slow to allow access to the content. I guess you have to wait for entire files to load before you can start reviewing? In some cases, that's a long wait.

Overall: It's not unlike certain other products on the market, and I wouldn't say this is better than any others. But it does what we need it to do, if a little more slowly than I'd like.

Pros: Very easy to upload designs and show them to the client. The app allows me to connect different pages feom the design, and show the clients, how the website willwork.

Cons: It is not possible to upload psd or ai files and to change them in the app. This is the only thing I like at least.

Overall: Seeing my designs and showing them to my clients.

Pros: Invision makes keeping track of all of the designs and 'sections' of a large project very easy. The ability to have both mobile and desktop projects is also very appreciated.

Cons: Some of the linking and features like sticky elements can be cumbersome to setup. Also it can be a lot of work for one person to setup if they're both the designer and developer.

Overall: Overall, I think Invision is a great product. But it's very focused on apps and not so much for web. I think if it had the ability to export styles like Zeplin that would be a plus.

Pros: Once we started using InVision our development kind of took off. We were finally able to see what the designers had in mind. We could also explain where the features wouldn't work.

Cons: It takes a while to refresh a new design into InVision but we also have a lot of images to update when we do. It's not a bad deal and once it's working it's amazing.

Overall: I can see what I'm supposed to do with InVision now!

Pros: This is a very effective tool for presenting interactive experiences to clients. It allows them to understand more how things will function once developed and live, especially responsive/mobile experiences. I like that you can demonstrate interactivity through the mockups.

Cons: We have had issues with the embedded experience and didn't receive much help from customer support about it, just that it was a known issue being worked on with no expectations set about when it would be fixed. This is the primary way we use this platform in client presentations so this was an issue for us.

Overall: Good solution for presenting interactive experiences to clients, especially for demonstrating mobile responsiveness and user-initiated interaction.

Pros: Extremely easy to use. One of the best sites to bring your mobile app design to reality. Drag and drop ,jpg and .png files. Great way to share you idea for instant feedback and/or collaborate an app design with your entire team. Easiest way to show off a high fidelity prototype.

Cons: Just make sure you have the correct sizing in your design or it will look funny. Made that mistake a few times.

Pros: Top Quality product. It might replace you Prototyping tools. We are linking screens an uploading directly PSD source files into Invision, so customers are happy to test the "product" before developing.

Cons: Sometimes the website is freezing when uploading a lot of files at the same time or during the exploration of project with more than 30 screens.

Pros: This software has about a billion uses and most of which are applicable to a plethora of creative developmental tools. I've used to from anything school-related, to my professional job.

Cons: So far I haven't used it enough to have any real complains. I would say it's worth the try especially among the growing competition.

Pros: InVision has been great for us when dealing with clients who like to see how their website will actually function before we waste our time creating something they don't want. Fantastic way to also test out ideas before implementing them.

Cons: A little limited at times with certain popular internet trends. No way to add transparency with added images but looks everything I want is n the works.

Overall: Easy, fun and intuitive.

Pros: I like the extensive functionality and options with Invision. It's also something that is known in the industry so I know if I use it it will be well-received.

Cons: It's a two step process so I need to design separately from the creating a prototype. This con ins't really that bad considering Invision does prototyping so well.

Pros: InVision is a tool that is great to present designs to your clients and communicate with them effectively. Before existing InVision, making a design proposal was a lot of effort: capture a jpg, send it, the client will pass it to PDF, make notes on that document to send it back with feedback¿ All this process, which may sound like prehistory, is relatively recent. However, since InVision exists, you can directly upload the project you are doing, you can update it, and the client can leave comments on the same design.

Another thing that I love is that it allows you to order all your projects in a single screen, as a private portfolio to have everything perfectly organized.

A handy feature that InVision has is that it allows you to update the designs using the integrated Craft plugin in Sketch. Through the "inspect" tab of invision, frontends can access design styles and assets.

I also really like the boards as an inspiration tool, to make a quick portfolio or as a style guide so that the client can know colors, typographies, logos, etc.

Cons: The price, because if you are a freelance is a bit expensive and the free version only allows you to upload one project.

A feature called Freehand in which you can theoretically comment on a design with the client live via videoconference, but it has never worked well for me.

I would like the boards could be integrated with other applications like Pinterest or Instagram so that the process of uploading and storing images is easier.

Workflows, I do not use them because we have trello.

A great software to review and make changes to your design with clients.

Pros: I love this software not only because it makes the whole reviewing process easy and smooth but also the integration that it has with Sketch. Also, the commenting system is perfect.
The team behind InVision are great and are always open to help.

Cons: The basic plan only gives you the option for three projects which I think is very limited as sometimes you need to have a different version of the same design to go back and forth.

Overall: It is the best tool to perform quicker and easier changes to your designs, either within your team or directly with your clients.

Pros: This software is super easy to use and it's a great way to throw concepts together and put them in front of users for quick feedback and iteration. It's also a great way to share prototypes with your team and get feedback with the comment system they have. Our design and product team have used Invision for a few years now and it's really been valuable in helping us understand how people would use stuff before actually building anything. I personally like how lightweight it is and fast to learn how to use.

Cons: Perhaps I just haven't tried hard enough, but it would be nice to try to have some different animations and transitions. I typically just use clicks and hovers. So if there are more robust interactions available I just haven't found them yet.

Very convenient tool for app review and also for communication between designers and developers.

Pros: It integrates nicely with Sketch, and I like it's ability to show the CSS for the elements on the page. Saves me a lot of time to ask the designers all the time. Also, it's good for reviewing the design. The ability to click on links to show actions and also comment is amazing.

Cons: The CSS part is good for individual elements on the page (color, font size, shadow, etc), but in terms of the layout (element position on the page, so like margins, paddings, etc), most of the time it's not very accurate. And it's kinda slow to load the page some times.

Overall: It is a great tool for web developers working with designers. Saves a lot of back and forth on some details of the design such as color, size, etc.

Pros: After a long search and multiple tests on different solutions I came across Invision and it was an Evrika moment. Great designer-client experience for reviewing designs and working prototypes. Integration with Sketch and Photoshop is great.

Cons: Craft plugin has its bad moments and sometimes presentations can be sluggish. I wish it would also integrate with Illustrator and/or Affinity Design / Photo. Price is a bit high for freelancers, a freelancer plan would be helpful. The good part is it has a free tier to get you started and help you learn the system.

Pros: Real web and mobile prototyping. Use sketch or Photoshop to create perfect designs clients can see. It like a test drive for web and mobile projects.

Cons: The only things I think need work is the use of the mobile app. As well as the private comment feature needs work. Support is ok but I would rather call or chat than email.

Overall: Allow clients to invision what there project will look like.

Pros: This is an amazing prototyping tool which allows to create an initial interactive design and test it on mobile devices. Absolutely love its integration with Sketch app and Craft plugin for better design workflow (huge thank you for this!).

Cons: I'm waiting when InVision make us designers able to design directly in the app. Another con is that the monthly price is a bit high. Also it would be great to have an offline application to be used on mobile devices or desktops.

Overall: Smooth design workflow and reliable prototyping tool
