Pros Very easy to use, it has many tools to make your model very interactive, it has a lot of material to use, and allows you to let your creativity fly. Cons Although it is easy, I think its design is very closed to what you can and can not do, but for what is needed I think it is enough, it can always be improved with the imagination of each one. Pros Have only been using for 5 months now but I'm a great fan of the simplicity bundled with endless options for quick iterations. Cons There's not a lot other than a bit old fashioned design themselves but that's nothing to do with usability and product itself. The software is really easy to use and was free. Cons I have only used the free version, maybe paid is better, but I found is a bit limited. Pros I only use these kind of tools occasionally and I find Balsamiq great because it has intuitive and easy to use UI so that I can start working immediately without figuring out how I need to do this and that. Cons I am not advance user in this area of expertise, so it is hard for me to comment this, it provides everything I need. It has most of the basic features that you need to design an UI. It is not that costly to use. It has some learning curve but overall easy to use. Cons It doesn't have very enriched UI components to use in UI mockups. It looks very basic and black and white. Wish they had more options to design it as close to production UI as possible. Pros Literally everyone could use Balsamiq, very useful to brief your webdesigner and really think about your UX before you start a project or webpage. It's so easy with drag and drop features which makes your wireframe look good without having to have special graphical skills. Bonus: you can work together on a project. Cons The interface and website feel very basic in terms of layout. Which made me doubt if I could trust this website, not that great. I'm pretty sure Balsamiq used to be free, so that's also a con when you're in a small team with low budgets. Pros Allows for quick prototyping of software screens in a non distracting way, focusing on the core aspect of the page. Cons It's kind of limited, you don't have much option for customization and it doesn't have a free plan other then a 30 day trial. There is almost no learning curve and you can create mock ups easy and fast. Cons The pricing for Balsamiq is a bit high for what it offers and I would suggest a product like Sketch instead. Balsamiq is what I get the participants to use for their first wireframes because it's just so incredibly easy to work with. Most of participants are reluctant to draw but are very comfortable just dragging and dropping in Balsamiq. Collaboration features are also great. Cons It's basic. It doesn't go a lot further than triangles, circles, squares and lines but, at the same time, as in the software itself: what you see is what you get. Review Source JB James B.
