Thanks to it, I have made my web prototypes before than start to codify without a main idea. Pros I really liked the way that Balsamiq Mockups gives to make the first prototype of your web page. Its really easy to use and you can make a great prototype just grabbing elements and dropping them into the main panel. Also, Balsamiq Mockups has a lot of features, so you can exactly replicate a web page like it should be, making links between pages, buttons, labels, add images... at least, almost replicate a real web page. Cons The unique or at least the only bad point that I would like to say about Balsamiq Mockups, its that you have to register to have full version or you just will be able to try their trial version and once its ended, you will have no longer the access to the application. I think they should have a free or community version, which should have also less functionality than the main one, but letting people make their web page prototypes. Review Source Joseph Manuel B. I have also participated by giving my opinion using the different templates that this software has. Pros \- Allows you to collaborate with other people. - You can interact and share your ideas about the project. - You can give your wireframes a good design with the templates. - also its workflow is very agile. Pros So I'm trying to create an App, and I needed a way to create a mockup that I could share with the Developers who were in another part of the world. I could try to draw on a piece of paper or just keep talking and hope that the developers understood what I was talking about. Thank God for Balsamiq, I was able to draw each screen exactly how I wanted it to look and communicate my vision to the developers. It takes time to get the hang of it, but if you can use a simple drawing tool, then you can easily use this. Cons It got pricey after the free trial, and with multiple projects, but the software is amazing. Cons balsamiq is so simple that you can use it to do very complex and sophisticated UI. it can be useful for people who don't have design skills and just want to put transform their ideas into a prototype. But for professionals UX/UI designer they will turn to other tools like sketch or even adobe xd. They make it so simple and focused so you can do exactly what you need without a lot of extra, unnecessary heaviness and features. It's very intuitive and I encourage my students to use this. Cons I haven't found much to complain about here. I really enjoy this tool and my students have found it very easy to use. I always recommend this option. Also the UI being very simple makes it really quick and easy to adapt to the interface and get done with the work Cons Although balsamiq is amazing when it comes to basic wireframes, more complex ones are not really possible within this software. May 4, 2018 3.0 Pros Balsamiq is a great tool for people of all backgrounds and skill levels. It is a design tool intended for anyone, whether they are a full time designer or not. It is intuitive and easy to get going and turn around a mockup quickly for testing. The ability to view previous iterations is also a great feature. Cons For a design tool, their design is pretty lackluster. It feels like a product that is still in the early 2000s in terms of esthetic. Incredibly intuitive software, allows for interlinking between screens, contains most UI buttons and features you would need. Cons Not the prettiest looking wireframes. Great for basic/bare bone wireframes, but not what you would want to use for a final presentation or as final visual designs when developing a product.
