Once I got support to help me setup the automations, it worked flawlessly and the campaigns for my clients worked amazingly. Pros The landing page builder is very good, easy to use, you can create practically any design you want as it has an open design, where you're not restricted to blocks. It's an open canvas system. once you get the email automations setup the system works great. Cons Wishpond was one of the first platforms within this space of CRM's, automations, but unfortunately it's not a leader in this space at all, because it hasn't kept up and innovated, my guess is, it has some huge accounts keep the cashflow going, and they've gotten comfortable. The worse thing about Wishpond is the support. The support is atrocious. They always take long (48hrs and sometimes longer) to get back to you. The platform is so difficult to use (email marketing automations and triggers specifically)They need to update the platform the UI, we are in 2023, and every other platform (their competitors) in this space, as continually innovated and made things easier to use. Wishpond as stayed the same. This is fine, if the platform was easy to use, but it's not. Im very well versed with SAAS products so I have so much experience using CRM's so it's not like I'm not a techy person. On the flip side, I understand your concern about the customer support experience. It's disappointing to receive incomplete assistance when reaching out with queries. Product is 99% is ready to be used internationally. Because they reject to enable translation of 1% it cannot be used in Europe at all. Pros I like landing pages as they can be easily customized. I also like that I can copy html code of landing page and paste it to any website. Cons The company appears to be international. After logging in, you can select your language from drop down list. Even if you select your preferred language, all text and templates remain in English. If you live in a non-English speaking country, Wishpond is essentially unusable. There are little things missing to make Wishpond great and usable internationally, but their support is the worst you can imagine. They don't listen to customer feedback. A few examples. Two years ago I requested that they enable the editing and translation of the "Unsubscribe" button in the footer of an email so that I could use email marketing in Europe to comply with the GDPR regulation. I sent them translations and communicated frequently with support, but they did nothing. Recently Wishpond introduced a new feature called "Appointments". This is a very useful feature as customers can book an appointment date and time with you. However, it has one major problem because the calendar is only in English and cannot be translated. The time format cannot be set in 24 hours format. Again if you come from a non-English speaking country this feature is unusable. I have contacted support to enable translation of the calendar into other languages, but as always their response is negative: it is currently only in English, we don't know if we will enable translation into other languages. Truly a white-glove experience. Pros It's simple and easy to use with just the features you need. Bang out landing pages in minutes, run split tests, automate email campaigns, create referral campaigns, etc. We've been using it for 3+ years and it only gets better. Cons I'd like to see a Zoom integration for webinar leads (not a must-have because we can easily upload webinar leads + they have a Zapier integration) as well as a webchat widget. Reason for choosing Wishpond Prior to Wishpond, we were using different tools for things like email, landing pages, forms, etc. Wishpond helped us integrate it all at a reasonable cost and low mental overhead. The reviews were so bad, I immediately called them back and told them I did not want to proceed and do not charge my card. I called them back within 10 minutes of us ending the zoom call. I ended my relationship with Wishpond before it ever began, they provided absolutely no services to me from the moment we end of that zoom call until this day. And yet they still are fighting to keep my money when no services have been rendered, and they have spent zero amount of time Marketing, or even communicating with me to set up the marketing.THEY ARE A TOTAL SCAM!!! Oftentimes they fell behind, or took days to troubleshoot urgent issues with their platform. The $7,800 they refuse to return to me is the worst part. Absolutely zero business ethics from this company. Pros I like the concept of the viral contest platform Cons They mistakenly auto-renewed a contract before even finishing the work on the initial contract, and racked up $7,800 in charges before I noticed. Now they refuse to return the money because I didn't ask "in writing" for them to not renew the contract. However, retrospectively, I feel that I was sold very quickly and pressured into signing a contract before I fully could contemplate the decision. I would have opted to wait longer. Pros Wishpond genuinly cares about its clients that it serves. When I had issues arrise, they were quick to get someone on the case and solve them in a timely manner! Cons Wishpond markets itself as an all inclusive marketing service, and I think they are embilishing a little bit when they say that. There are many things Wishpond is not able to do or integrate with, and some minor bugs in the program itself. There's a lot of features, and it would be fantastic if it was a 'end-all, be-all' kind of software. Cons Oh my god everything! Features would frequently not work or are just buggy. Email campaigns would break, or the site would just decide to ignore your submission and make it disappear. Customer support is incredibly miss. They would ignore questions and have given my clients the runaround. They would blame my clients for being confused, and then apologize that the feature didn't work 'for them even though it works for everyone else'. Their help docs are a mess. I did not receive any phone numbers to contact staff. 3. The quality of the images in the ads and emails were poor. 4. Not all of the emails in the campaign were delivered. 5. The quality of writing in the mails was poor. Very general and grammar issues as if the individual did not speak English well. I rewrote 80% of those submitted to me. 6. One email went out without the agreed revisions. Very embarrassing. 7. They continue to charge my credit card even after I revoked that authorization, cancelled that credit card and they terminated the agreement. 8. The company terms do not appear in the agreement/contract you sign. The contract renews unless you request it to stop 2 months in advance. There are no termination terms in the agreement. 9. I had to insist on them adding their contact form to my webpage. 10. The level of expertise just wasn’t there. I was educating my administrator on when to deliver emails, what quality content is, etc. Pros none, I did not use the software. What I did see was very basic. Nice people to work with. Good support when needed. For the right business it can be a good agency to do the marketing and sales funnels. Throughout the time I was with Wishond they handled everything, all the tech stuff, all the changes, all the integrations. Every question was answered. I even had an issue a few months after my subscription ended, and still got the same wonderful personal service. Cons For my business we did not manage to convert positive ROI, after 8 month we decided to stop the subscription. The sales pitch presentation was very polished, when we discussed the narrow margins, and how it may be difficult to reach positive ROI. Overall the sales campaigns did not even break even. I first chose them because I loved the designs of their landing page templates. We've continued to use them because their customer service is impeccable and the price is really good, especially for smaller companies. There are endless numbers of workflow automations you can do, we haven't even begun to scratch the surface. Whenever I'm thinking of an automation I want to do and I can't figure it out, I reach out to their support staff and they are eager to help. My favorite! There are a few kinks, but that's the case with any software. We use the software for B2B purposes, but it looks like their system would be robust for B2C as well. If you're looking for email automation and great landing page templates and don't want to break the bank, I'd recommend Wishpond. Pros What I like most are the design of their ready made templates and the amazing customer service they have. Also have extensive automated workflow options. Cons Sometimes I'll notice that the formatting I've done is off or doesn't save even though I hit save, therefore I have to go back and correct it. And I think there could be some shortcuts to get back to a particular page you'd like to visit.
