Pros: I like that it is fairly easy to use. You no longer have to submit a request for new tests (for new positions). You can simply add your own new test and either send the candidate an invite or the link to the exam. It seems to be pretty easy for the candidate to use with no instruction needed from my end. You also get notified of when someone beings and ends testing within Wonscore. I also like that it provides the motivation and personality tests along with the cognitive ability portion.

Cons: At first, I needed some guidance from customer support in terms of how exactly to use the software. I would say as a non-technical person, that it isn't the most straight-forward platform I've used, but once I got some assistance from support one time and played around in the platform myself, I now understand the gist. Also, I wish there was a little more explanation as to how certain scores on the bell-curve work, but even with that statement, I know I could find more information about it if I were to dive in deeper into their website.

Overall: We have a lot of faith in the platform, in terms of trusting that if someone scores well on the assessment, that they're likely going to do well in the role. We also really like the personality portion of the assessment, although we don't always interpret it verbatim because we look a lot for alignment with our core values and such as well.

We use Wonderlic for every candidate who comes on-site! It is a key part of our interview process.

Pros: I love how easy it is to search for an individual's results. We need access to these scores regularly to make hiring decisions, promotion consideration, and hiring profile analysis. I can always find the data I am looking for!

Cons: So far, we have yet to find a Wonscore calibration that fits the job description of our highest volume role (an entry-level sales position).

Overall: Smarter hiring decisions, better internal promotion considerations, and overall a more sound interview process that provides concrete insight.

Pros: It is easy to use and administer, easy to review, and easy to understand. Helpful guidance when selecting between several good candidates.

Cons: There seems to be limitations to the types of positions available for roles within a company. The existing job descriptions may not quite match with roles in a company.

We currently have Wonderlic assessments and find WonScore's enhancements helpful but miss the detail

Pros: The 'roll up' scoring - WonScore Average and how we have it integrated with our ATS - iCIMS. Also ease in reading/understanding the scoring.

Cons: Doesn't include the detailed reports per candidate it once did and our Hiring Managers found that useful in their conversations/interviews with candidates.

Customer support was always very helpful and made the experience great.

Pros: I like the simplicity of the site the most. It was very self explanatory and didn't have too many features which might have given an overwhelming experience.

Cons: I didn't like how it did not allow you to benchmark your own employees. I am not sure if this was an option that was offered or not, but bench marking would make the scores much more applicable to our own organization.

Overall: The benefits of this product were definitely its ease of use. It had a very simple display which was great considering we are a larger company who has many employees using Wonscore daily. It's design was very easy to maneuver and understand.

Very informative and user friendly but overall not beneficial to my organization specifically.

Pros: The software itself is user friendly and easy to navigate. The support chat box was very helpful and responsive when having questions on assigning users.

Cons: Overall, the assessment itself is not a good indication to whether or not candidates will be strong/weak performers in my organization specifically. There was never enough information to gauge whether or not we were making good hiring decisions.

Pros: I like being able to send the link to candidates via email or via the website. I appreciate being notified when a candidate has started, finished, or done well on the inventory so that I can check results.

Cons: I would prefer to be able to choose tests for applicants based on the job. I don't see substantive differences between how it rates professionals versus laborers, and the two are just so different.

Overall: The software helps me weed out candidates who either don't want the job enough to bother taking it, or don't have the characteristics or abilities for which we are looking. When I get a lot of candidates I will use this to decide who to call for phone or in person interviews, on the premise that if they can't be bothered to take the assessment they aren't that serious about the position.

Pros: I love how easy it is to select a job that matches our Open Requisitions, and how easy it is to send the assessment to applicants. One of my favorite features is the direct link to the job, which makes it simple to add it to an email to an applicant.

Cons: I felt like there was not enough training to understand the results given. I do not like how the Open Jobs are displayed: the font is too big and there is no option to have it displayed as a list.

Overall: Wonscore helps us make a more informed decision in our hiring process.

Pros: I love the clean layout of the site. It is super easy to use and set up and customize. The customer service is spectacular and any time I have suggestions or feedback, I am "heard." They are "common sense" and if a recommendation is made on how to improve their system, they take it to heart and make it happen. I LOVE LOVE LOVE jobsoid!

Cons: Texting is only one way - outbound. Responses are not received which is super annoying.
I love everything else which makes it totally worth it. :)

Pros: The product is very easy to use.

Straight forward instructions and easy to learn too

Cons: I wish I was notified when someone completed an assessment without having to login.

Pros: It is easy to use, has a great dash board - is excellent at matching candidates to positions. Took a while to get buy-in from the hiring managers, but Wonscore has been 100% correct in its predictions of applicants who wouldn't succeed. Almost scary-accurate.

Cons: We are really happy with this service. I could only suggest make it easier to move candidates to different positions, perhaps more choices in jobs. Overall, I don't have any improvements I need.

Overall: Quality of hires has improved dramatically

Pros: Very straightforward and easy to use. Each profile is easy to set-up and administer. The support received has been timely and very responsive.

Cons: The summary report features are very lacking and even the ability to print an individual report is not printer friendly.

Overall: Helps our organization manage and prioritize large candidate pools with more confidence.

Cons: No dislikes.

Overall: Wonderlic provided our company with a great web based testing tool that has great features for the price. It quickly allowed us to raise the standard in selecting new hires and more importantly helped us filter out the candidates that did not match our selection criteria and skill sets. Their staff was very supportive with our questions and responsive to our suggestions.

Pros: Although Wonderlic is easy to use and a very comprehensive system, we are finding that it is more difficult to find employees who can pass this test.

Cons: We put the Wonderlic testing process in place to help with our employee retention, but we are not finding it to have helped as much as we had hoped.

This tool is easy to use -not sure the scores reflect match between candidates & jobs.

Pros: There is a broad spectrum of jobs represented. It is relatively easy to use and can be an indicator of how well a candidate matches requirements.

Cons: I don't think the tool works for candidates from other cultures. I cannot forward the report to other users. I have to print it, copy and send.

Pros: I love what this assessment tests. Cognitive, Motivation and Personality are very important in all of our roles here, and I love that we can see where our candidates lack and excel at.

Cons: The only thing that I do not like about the software is that it is pretty hard to get back to the job board that a candidate applied for. Ex: When you click the notification, if you click on their name to see the scores, you have to go to the job board, click the job, then scroll to find the candidates.
It would be much easier if you had a "Job applied for" tab at the top of the results from the candidate that could take you back to see the rest of the candidates.

Overall: I like seeing the scores of candidates before I get them in front of our hiring managers. It saves a lot of time and lets us see where this candidate could be best placed.

Pros: The intuitive nature of the interface. I like that you can set it up in a number of different ways - very functional.

Cons: Wonscore & Wonderlic (the older version) are independent and I can't search for my old Wonderlic scores from applicants now that I use Wonscore exclusively

Pros: The cognitive assessment is the most reliable way to tell if a candidate will be successful. I've set a minimum score of 25 for any sales representative and have seen MUCH better results.

Cons: The personality assessment seems to be less reliable/accurate from my experiences. I've had candidates that scored very high and not done well in the position and I've had candidates that did not score high and do very well.

Overall: I've been able to ensure the candidates I hire are of a high enough caliber to perform at or above expectations.

Pros: Easy of use for both Admin and Candidate. Setting up new jobs are pretty quick and easy. Setting up new Recruiters is also very easy.

Cons: No reporting. I wish the email notices gave more detail. It would be very helpful if it used our job title and not theirs. Would be nice if it had more interface options with HRIS software (UltiPro).

Overall: We think we have gotten a higher caliber of employee, but are still evaluating the success.

This test has proven to be very accurate and helpful throughout the hiring process.

Pros: We have been using the Wonscore Wonderlic test as part of our hiring process for over 2 years and we have found this to be one of the most accurate tests. It is very easy to administer and to navigate the site.

Cons: The only drawback that I had with the assessment was resolved a while back with a system update. We are now able to "follow" candidates in order to be notified when they have started/completed the assessment. This is a huge help!

Pros: Allows us to keep students who are the best fit for our program. This ensures we have the students who want to be there and are the best fit.

Cons: Not everyone tests well; I'm not always certain that testing via an Emotional Intelligence tests actually allows everyone who would be a good fit through the process.

Pros: The cognitive score, and big five factors on the applicant give you a really good picture of the person's ability and personality fit. There is also a final score for each applicant based on a total of 100 possible points. I find this very helpful in my review of the candidate.

Cons: Understanding the science behind the scores can be tricky.

Overall: I love this service as it truly gives specific measurements about the candidate's fit for the job. It has kept us from hiring the wrong person.

Recommendations to other buyers: The "WonScore" is essentially a "composite" score. It is based out of 100 points, and gives you a cautionary rating for lower scores.

Pros: The ability to objectively gauge the quality of people applying to our programs in a quick and efficient manner.

Cons: We have been unable to prevent certain candidates from retaking the test multiple times. It would be nice if there were individual links that expired after being used once.

Pros: The cognitive portion is one of the best I have seen. I have worked with at least two other companies in this same field.

Cons: The personality portion needs to be a bit more robust. I don't think it is great, currently. I prefer the McQuaig personality assessment to the Wonscore assessment.

Pros: I appreciate the insights on intelligence, personality, and motivation. Reviewing the analysis expedites our pre-screening process and helps us save tons of time!

Cons: Sometimes some of the results are inconsistent but overall they're good. We often get people that do not complete the assessment - not sure if that's a problem with the software or they just lose patience.

Overall: Save tons of time pre-screening employees and getting insights we wouldn't otherwise get.

Wonderlic tests have shown to be an excellent indicator of candidate aptitude and overall fit.

Pros: The software is really user friendly and has an out-of-the-box set up. The job profiles are great and again, the results give an accurate depiction of the candidates ability.

Cons: I wish this integrated with our ATS (lever) for all account levels, not just pro. It is a little bit undesirable to switch back and fourth to the platform and to have to check results on wonderlic.

Overall: Accurate candidate profiles and insight on their abilities.

Pros: The cognitive timed assessment - I like the timed piece as it shows problem-solving ability and basic intelligence which is critical to our organization.

Cons: The motivation and personality assessments. I took the assessment myself and had I been a candidate, I would not have fared well. One thing the assessment said about me is that I would not stay and commit to the job. I've been here 5 years. It concerns me that some manager might pass up a great candidate because of these results. So I often find myself telling them to disregard those results - which doesn't really solve the problem either.

Comments: You absolutely NEED to Include this tool in your hiring process! As an HR professional and hiring manager I've done a ton of reading and real life application regarding the importance of hiring right in a way that contributes to engagement and intent to stay of employees... and this tool helps you hire the right person for your business by screening them based on their cognitive ability, motivation, and personality as it pertains to the specific role you're hiring for. We use it in conjunction with Kolbe, the Strengths Finder Assessment, the Top Grading Hiring Process, and the usual resume/ cover letter/ reference check tools. I highly recommend this tool; it's what the pros use!! :)

Pros: It was a great learning experience and made you really learn more about your self and how you work as a team, how you problem solve and certainly tested your mental ability

Cons: It was a bit time consuming but worth it. Other than that the software is great! It seems that people who are foreign seem to have a harder time as well from my personal experience

Pros: From job creation to candidate set up the software is easy to use. The reports provided for each candidate are easy to read and understand and apply to the position and what we find important for each role. It is also nice that we can add a link to various pieces of the assessment to job ads.

Cons: I don't particularly like that in creating the jobs we don't have the ability to truly "build" a job. Instead we are forced into using the positions provided with only the ability to change the name of the position.

Has provided valuable feedback on new hires.

Pros: it is extremely easy to add new candidates and new positions. You also get live updates when candidates start to do the testing.

Cons: It is not customizable. You must pick the most similar job option from those currently available in the database.

Overall: Wonscore is easy to use which is really important. Cumbersome programs are often purchased then rarely used. This isn't the case with Wonscore.

Pros: I like the ease of being able to add a position and candidate. I like the notification of when a candidate has started the assessment. This is helpful because I know that the candidate is working to complete it.

Cons: It sometimes goes down, when I need it most. There have been times that I continued to get an error message which is frustrating when I need to access information.

Overall: I was able to quickly send the assessment to candidates and get comprehensive results in a timely manner.

It's been a helpful tool for adding an extra layer of data to our recruiting process

Pros: Ease of use, easy to get started. The data reports given after a candidate completes a review have been helpful and we are already using them frequently.

Cons: The preselected jobs seem oddly specific, and they also are missing some very basic job titles. Account managers and business development reps. Also the fact that someone can be "too smart" for a job on their score makes no sense to me. I don't buy that they might be bored easily.

Overall: Added data to our hiring process

Pros: It seems to be spot on giving us very accurate information about how a person will do with us. All info has been extremely useful and is amazingly almost always correct. Plus it is very easy to use !

Cons: I wish there was a function where we could re-send an email or an invite if the person says they have not received it

Overall: It makes our interview process easier and quicker. I feel like it's more thorough. We can weed through the unqualified prospects before waiting our time meeting with them.

THIS HAS BEEN A WONDERFUL TOOL. THE JOB SPECIFIC TESTING AND SCORING INFORMATION HAS BEEN AWESOME.

Pros: EASE OF USE. I PARTICULARLY LIKE THE FEATURE OF JOB SPECIFIC ROLES. THE SCORING REPORTI IS EXCEEDINGLY USEFUL.

Cons: INFORMATION ON COMMON TRENDS- SUCH AS ENGLISH ISNT FIRST LANGUAGE AND THE CORRELATION TO LOW SCORES. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE DATA ON THIS TREND TO HAVE HANDY FOR HIRING MANAGERS TO HELP THEM BETTER UNDERSTAND THE LOW SCORES.

Overall: VERY HELPFUL DURING OUR BIG HIRING PROJECT. SO EASY TO SET UP AND EXPLAIN TO CANDIDATES. AS WELL AS THE OPTION TO EMAIL THE LINKS FOR OUR NON LOCAL CANDIDATES.

Pros: It's is very user friendly and the never have had an issue with it. We have received positive feedback from our users as well as our perspective candidates.

Cons: There is Nothing about this software that I do not like. We have had nothing but a positive experience since we starting using this program.

We turned to Wonscore to screen potential hires and it has worked extremely well.

Pros: It is extremely accurate at predicting success in matching us with talent. It is easy to set up and use. It is useful for screening a wide variety of roles and levels.

Cons: I can't think of anything. Maybe keep bringing the entry level prices down as more companies use it.

Overall: It has increased our success rate in hiring talent that is a match for our company.

Happy with the Wonderlic product, not complete sold on the other two.

Pros: Ease of use of the online testing system for candidates and me (human resources).
Wonderlic test is pretty cut and dry.

Cons: The results on the motivation and personality tests most of the time don't match the interview personality or their job record. Not completely sold on this part.

Pros: The results are easy to view & understand. Testing is simple to initiate & track. It is nice to be able to view current & archived results.

Cons: There is a lack of reports. There is also no easy way to print info. It would be nice if the info could be condensed to minimal pages instead of 10-12 pages per applicant.

Very useful for quick screens of ability and personality. Works best for "typical" job descriptions.

Pros: Speed of results, usefulness of data that comes back. Provides objective data that I have found lines up well with who the candidates actually are when we interview them.

Cons: I would like the ability to choose the battery of tests for some of my more "atypical" job descriptions.

Pros: Score information is very helpful to our recruiting and hiring process. The user interface is easy to use.

Cons: There should be a feature that allows a company to have current employees take the Wonderlic so we can gain better insight on the current employees performance v.v. their Wonscore. I was told this feature does not exist.

Overall: Better, faster, easier hiring.

Pros: Users seem to have no issues with logging and in and completing the test as well. The platform and testing are easily administered and interpreted.

Cons: Can be a challenge to navigating the platform as an administrator... resending requests, downloading reports, etc. Candidates that come from ESL background seem to have lower scores.

Pros: It's amazing that a system can pick up on the uniqueness of individuals and how that can impact future hires.

Cons: Maybe more details on the cognitive section to provide more information of their capabilities. It would be interesting to know the details of how the final scoring was achieved.

Pros: I find the tests to be fairly accurate and provide a basic feel for applicants in their cognitive ability, motivations and personality. It is very easy to send the test to applicants and it is fairly easy to navigate the administration panel.

Cons: I would like to be able to "resend" the test to applicants who do not take it fast enough or can't find it in their "junk" box. I have to delete the applicant and then re-enter them. It is also unclear how to initiate the in person test, but I was walked through by customer service.

Overall: I have been able to pre-screen applicants and reduce the amount of interviews I need to conduct. I am also able to better understand employees and what their motivations or needs are.

I've come to rely on Wonderlic as a trusted tool for recruiting.

Pros: I like that the tool consistently measures candidates so that I can measure apples to apples. I also feel that the tool provides accurate insight into a candidate's quantitative and analytical reasoning, motivation, and personality characteristics. Wonderlic has become a trusted component of the candidate selection process.

Cons: I think it takes a bit of time before I can trust a tool like this to help with the recruiting process. I needed to collect quite a bit of data before I could trust Wonderlic as a valid source of information.

Overall: I am able to select better candidates to join my team, and I can trust the tool to be unbiased in its selection of candidates.

Pros: it is easy to use, relatively affordable, easy access to customer support, the Wonderlic intelligence test is fine but a little challenging for English speaking Mexican-Americans because of the heavy emphasis on language skills

Cons: The personality test and motivation indicators are horrible. I gave the test to my four best employees out of fifty. The utterly failed the personality and motivation tests, even though they are highly motivated team players, with high ethics. I assume the test wants you to B.S. such things as... I am never late to work, I never tell a lie, etc...

Overall: intelligence test portion is fine

It is very helpful that this testing is offered.

Pros: The ability to help narrow down applications from interested candidates. It helps us out with the hiring process by ensuring that candidates were able to do well on testing.

Cons: The pricing is a little high. It would be nice to have the option to purchase just a one time testing.

Pros: This software has been an important step in our process for narrowing down the pool of candidates before scheduling interviews.

Cons: I do not fully understand how to interpret the personality and motivation scores; I would like to be able to see how they responded to individual questions; it would be amazing if there was more testing of logic/comprehension, such as a test that gauges verbal and communication skills since almost every job involves writing emails or producing slide decks.

Pros: Had my current staff take the assessment and the results were remarkably spot-on! Made me very comfortable in using this as a pre-interview screening tool.

Cons: The in-office testing process used to confirm the results from initial screening simply does not work. Tried calling the number given in the error message and there was a bit of a wait for help , not workable in a live interview unfortunately; we've decided not to use this feature as a result.

Pros: It's very easy to send to potential interviewees to determine if they have enough desire to even take the test

Cons: Like all testing some people are just not very good at it for instance we had our field manager who's been with us for 5 years take the test and based on his scores I would never have hired him however every time I use the test in advance and said I'm going to go ahead and hire the person it's turned out to be a big mistake he may just be an anomaly

Pros: It gives you a metric to base a candidate on that helps in the interviewing process. It helps bring up possible red flags and give us the ability to dive in a little deeper when asking interview questions.

Cons: I would like to see a copy of the questions so I know what is being asked of the candidate. Or, I would like to take the test myself to see the types of questions asked. This survey was not easy to modify if something was not completed fully.
