During that time their product has continued to evolve and develop. The support provided to customers has improved over time. This is all the more impressive given that the price point for the product has remained competitive in the marketplace. I am very satisfied with my experience with ELMS. Pros Personable support from the developers, who are keen to engage and work with clients to provide a software solution. The software is also easy to use and improving with developments over time. Cons Some of the functionality is restrictive, for my personal use case. However, my use case is a little different from the intended use of the software, so this is not entirely their fault. Also, the control of access could be improved and is a bit tricky to navigate. They are prompt to reply to Support tickets, and when we were evaluating other LMSs they were more than willing to meet with our team to discuss which features have our companies looking elsewhere for another solution. Pros Excellent value for the cost. Easy to use User Interface. Does not require a programmer or technical resource to operate the program. Allows multiple Academy sites (multi-brand Support). Cons Reporting is not good. We can almost never extract the data we need to see from the out of the box Reporting functionality. We end up exporting all data (which is a lot) and then manipulating Filters and Sorting in Excel to find what we need. It is a very time-consuming process. Easy LMS also does not offer a "choose your own adventure" type of Course, where based on the Users answers they could be served a different set of materials. We would very much like to tailor the Learning path based on the Users prior responses. The platform is easy enough to use and generally reliable, and it covers the basics without a steep learning curve. At the same time, using it regularly has shown some real limitations, especially around reporting, customization, and UI/UX. It works fine for straightforward training needs, but it doesn’t always offer the flexibility or depth I wish it had. Because of that, I’d say it lands right in the middle for me: useful, but with plenty of room to grow. Pros Overall, EasyLMS gives you a lot for the price. It is simple to figure out, even if you are not very tech‑savvy, and the clean interface keeps things from feeling overwhelming. The customer support team is helpful and friendly, and once you connect with them they work hard to resolve issues. The only challenge is the time‑zone difference, which can slow things down when something urgent comes up. For everyday use, the platform stays out of the way and makes it easy to build courses, and keep things moving. Cons There are definitely areas where EasyLMS could improve. The interface feels a bit dated and could use some polish, especially on pages that require a lot of scrolling. Reporting can be frustrating because the data is available but not always easy to turn into something useful. Customization options are limited, so you do not have much control over how things look or function. The quiz options are also very basic, which makes it hard to create more engaging or varied assessments. None of these issues make the platform unusable, but they do stand out once you start relying on it more heavily. Nach und nach habe ich aber festgestellt, dass die meisten Dinge auch anders machbar sind und dass ich teilweise die Plattform unterschätzt habe und sich Ideen leicht abgewandelt doch umsetzen ließen. Mit ein bisschen Gutem Willen und der Hilfe durch die Owly-Supporter lassen sich gute Ergebnisse erzielen. Pros Easy LMS bietet ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und ich kann mich auf einen freundlichen und schnellen Support verlassen. Ich nutze nicht alle Funktionen, sondern verwende ich hauptsächlich die Academy, die ab dem Enterprise Owl Tarif verfügbar ist. Diese ermöglicht es, einer Personengruppe Zugang zu Online-Kursen und Online-Prüfungen zu verschaffen. Ich schätze besonders die Möglichkeit, Videos und PDFs einzubetten sowie Inhalte aus dem Internet zu verlinken. Die Prüfungsberichte sind sehr hilfreich, da sie die Identifizierung und Korrektur fehlerhafter oder unklar formulierter Fragen und Antworten erleichtern und ich so das Erlebnis für die Teilnehmer immer weiter verbessern kann. Zusätzlich kann ich Teilnehmer hinzufügen, steuern, welche Inhalte sie sehen, Zugangsdaten erneut versenden und Benutzer wieder löschen. Damit deckt Easy LMS alle grundlegenden Funktionen ab, die wir für unsere Online-Academy benötigen. Cons Ich bin von anderen Web-Anwendungen bereits gewohnt, dass sich Daten und Designs leicht bearbeiten und verwalten lassen. Und dass darauf geachtet wird, den Platz auf dem Bildschirm optimal zu nutzen bei verschiedenen Auflösungenund dass die Oberfläche so designt ist, dass möglichst jeder überflüssigen Klick vermeidbar ist. Hier hat die Plattform noch Nachholbedarf, aber ich bin optimistisch, da die Programmierer aktuell die Plattform grundlegend überarbeiten. Das Frontend für die Academy Teilnehmer könnte mehr Gestaltungs- und Strukturierungsmöglichkeiten bieten, um hier bei umfangreichen Academien wie unserer einen besseren Überblick zu erlauben, Klickwege zu sparen und den Bedürfnissen der individuellen Benutzer entgegenzukommen. Wir haben aber von unseren Teilnehmern viel positives Feedback erhalten, weil es denn doch mehr auf den Inhalt als auf die Verpackung ankommt. Cons The content that you attach as a voice recording link is not compatible with common platforms like Audacity. Also would like to see the ability to directly link a recorded presentation through Teams and Power Point to a slide without first loading it to YouTube then linking it to system.
