### "Good Marketing Text Option for Groups!"

Overall, so far we like SimpleTexting. We will have to evaluate how much we will use it and then determine if the cost is beneficial.

Pros

I like that SimpleTexting is rather easy to figure out. There are a ton of valuable tutorials on the website which helps with the many options/features of the program. I like that you can create your own messages, create trigger words, and auto-responders which makes communication about promotions/events with a large group easy.

Cons

You do get a free trial, but after that I feel like the pricing could be a little more affordable. Each text takes 1-2 credits and for 500 credits is $25/month. That may go fast if you have a few large groups to send marketing to and the larger plans are more$. It's very functional, but does have a cost.

We are using SimpleTexting to solve our issue with getting information to all employees.

Pros

One of the things I wanted in a text service was simplicity and cost. I wanted a service that offered an easy way to send our monthly safety videos to all of our employees. It was also important that it not cost a ton. I feel that we get all of that plus with SimpleTexting.

Cons

The schedule text option doesn't seem to work as

Allowed us to run a text voting contest utilizing the phones in everyone's pocket instead of at iPad or Laptop stations for a reasonable price.

Pros

It's simplicity and ease of use within the dashboard is what makes it such a great product. We did have to game the system a little bit to get what we wanted out of it, but in the end it was perfect for what we were looking for.

Cons

The only thing I didn't like was that I had to create a workaround to allow for what we needed it for - we were looking for something where patrons of our show could vote for their favorite of 13 gardens by texting a word to the number. So essentially a text poll, but initiated by the user instead of by us, and instead of sending options, the keyword is on a sign at each garden. So it worked perfectly, we just sort of had to work it out ourselves - not really a con, since it totally worked, haha.

Only cons are about text marketing in general, not any specific to Simple Texting

We're so happy to hear about the value you're finding in SimpleTexting, Thomas! In regards to that notification, that is sent from a person's phone/carrier and is not something that we send out. SimpleTexting does not charge the people that text in, but standard message and data rates may apply; the same as sending/receiving any other texts on their plan.

I spent some time searching for an SMS platform for my Christian ministry and decided to go with SimpleTexting. Boy was I pleased! One of the great features to this program is the unlimited use of keywords. Other programs were charging an arm and a leg so the choice was obvious on that point. After I signed up for a monthly plan I was contacted by a customer service rep. Let me say that this has been the BEST customer service I have EVER received in my entire life. I set up a time to get a brief tutorial and was even able to text my rep with some questions. 6 stars for Customer Service! Finally, I was told about some of the upcoming features for SimpleTexting so I'm glad to know that they are not just a stagnant program. I'm very proud to be one of their clients.

Huge time savings! Ease of use. Excellent customer support!

Pros

Quick and easy to send out SMS. Synced with Mail Chimp. Customer service and support was TOP-NOTCH! Pricing below competitors. I have recommended SimpleTexting to several business owners. I also liked the notes field that I used daily to keep customized member preferences.

Cons

Searching users/members was awkward and did not always seem to work. I would search to see if a member existed before entering them manually. Then I would manually add a member only to find out they had already signed up by texting our keyword.

Overall the app is great to use and easy to navigate. I would recommend to look up the app so you know exactly what you will use it for since it is only free for 14 days and then you have to pay for it.

Pros

This software is only free for 14 days. The app can be used for marketing your business and to communicate with others. The app will send you a new number or code every time you need it. If you do not want to give away your personal phone this is a good software to protect yourself as you grow your business.

Cons

The only problem I had was not receiving my code on time, but you can always get a new one if it does not work.

The number of SMS characters is standard across all mobile carriers though you can send an MMS text if you need to send a longer one. I like that they have chat support so i feel like i can always get quick answers when I need to. Their system is very intuitive and easy to use.

Cons

I think the documentation for their API could be a bit more detailed. I think their API is much more powerful than what they lay out in their documentation.

I like the ability to schedule campaigns and select my contact list.

Cons

I somehow cannot reply to texts from my contacts. I wish we could easily update keywords and campaign, it's as easy as allowing users to open keywords in a different tab. I wish there was the ability to do more elaborate text automations.

SimpleTexting is a great option if you are looking to reach a larger audience than traditional email. The user interface is clear and straightforward and texts are sent reliably. Analytics are a plus as well.

Pros

SimpleTexting allows our organization to reach various segments of our overall stakeholder audience. We can organize contacts, create targeted text alert campaigns and are able to roll over any unused text credits to the next month.

Cons

Could offer more options for customization for subscriber opt-in.

We are loving that we can access our customers via texting when emails get lost in the vortex of inboxes! Our sales are increasing the more we reach out to our customers with this service.

Pros

I most like the ease of setting up campaigns...especially MMS campaigns.

Cons

Because texting is where things are at, the cost of the service should be a little less. Credits for sending MMS is more expensive, but texting with media isn't an uncommon thing or a luxury, it's a necessity.
