It is a good LMS, but the pricing can be better

Pros

The navigation, and automation of tasks

Cons

The pricing compared to other high functioninig LMSs like Talent is more (Talent LMS with almost the same functionality and quality is offring $6.9 per user per year right now.

Pros

Fairly user friendly. If you can use PPT you can design and develop with this tool

Cons

Not always intuitive. Needs to be used by someone who throughly understands instructional design.

The speed with which you can set up and roll out your learning programs is remarkable

Cons

Takes some figuring out to set up certifications.

Purchased a captivate subscription but found it very difficult to re-install once I switched computers. I spent 30-45 minutes on Adobe's website combing through links, installed Creative Cloud (was not the answer) until I finally searched a backdoor link.

Has very few features. The price is high comparing with all other products that are similar (or even better). There are lot of unneeded steps for everything. I hope I would never need to use it again.

This is for beginners in the online course hosting world. Not quite ready for school.

Pros

Adobe products are usually pretty good for the working professional. Current looking interface. Self-contained server for learning modules.

Cons

Not enough real-life features for professional use. IS NOT SCORM compliant. They allow SCORM but don't have the tool set to support actual SCORM. The tech team was stumped by our Fortune 100 clients requirements.
