Pros

Captivate Prime is easy to use, and allows for significant customization compared to other LMS platforms.

Cons

For small companies, it is a good option, but if unfamiliar with LMS, it can be more work to setup. It is also more expensive if you don't have the 100 people minimum for the platform use.

Reason for choosing Adobe Learning Manager

Still using the free trial, but it is in the shortlist among the better options per the price.

I have only seen it in demos and webinars.

Pros

I think the most important thing is that it is using the power of cloud architecture. This will allow it to integrate dynamic closed captioning, improvements in text to speech, and all the other neat features that the big cloud players (Amazon, Google, etc.) are constantly rolling out.

Cons

I don't have it. We are still using a legacy version of a server-based LMS.

Pros

There are lots of options for a variety of projects. Customer service was very helpful.

Cons

Templates for creating quizzes were complicated, but lacking. Time consuming.

I originally downloaded this because I'm new to the non-profit world. I figured since I'm highly familiar with Adobe products, that it was something that I could use in my new role. It is easy to understand, but I'm still trying to figure out how to use this in my personal role in the company.

Cons

I have yet to find something that I don't like about this software. I'm still learning it.

I enjoyed creating things with Capitvate, but I would have to consider whether I want to spend that much money for those functions.

Pros

I liked the functions of this software.

Cons

I don't like the fact that it wasn't very intuitive. You had to take some tutorials in order to figure out how to make it work

Clear interface & no complexity. interaction with new leraner is very straight forward.

Cons

I think costly(although I am getting free...) it may be ok for established company but not for new player(they want buyer to go for atleast 10 users licence). video help are not to the mark.

Pros

A very serious and complete presentation.

Cons

If any data is missing or something seems wrong, delete all the fields and you have to start filling out the entire form again. And sometimes it does not allow you to use the same information again, for example it says that the mail is already in use

Currently I'm just using this software to cast screens for demonstration tasks. I plan on using the software for simulations, especially for trainings and I thinks it's a very useful software for this kind of tasks

Cons

It's not very easy to use. You need to have at least a basic knowledge about simulations and how videos for (especially) training-tasks should be.

Pros

Its functionality is so smooth. It's an easy platform for users of all skill sets and an excellent tool for skill enhancement.

Cons

Hard to come up with many cons of substance, but a small one would be that it times the software can seem a bit bulky/clunky. There is a lot of information and options. Not necessarily a bad thing.

Pros

The direct integration with Adobe Captivate is key. Previewing content in Captivate is notoriously unreliable, and so being able to use Prime as a publishing preview option is key -- showing you a more authentic preview.

Cons

If most of your development happens in other platforms, such as Articulate or Camtasia, then Prime may not be as obvious a choice.

Pros

I think it was very clean and easy to use. Once I felt like I had understood the tools I was really able to move quickly.

Cons

I think there were a few confusing aspects about the tools, however the tutorials that pop up really helped me through the issues.
