Having our company metrics on REACH is so much easier than changing paper copies on a bulletin board. Plus, I can add pictures, weird holidays, and employee anniversaries to make it more fun for the employees.

Pros

The software is very easy to use and the support I received was very helpful. They have cool features where they have special slides available for certain events, like the Olympics.

Cons

Sometimes there are glitches and the resolution takes longer than I would expect. But they do have good communication to keep me informed.

Overall we were not impressed with Reach.

Pros

We have been using Reach media for many years and really liked the web portal.

Cons

We didn't like the digital players we kept having to reset them and reboot them. then we switched to firesticks and encountered issues with the app just not starting. lots of frustration working with the product.

### "An honest consumer review for the Reach CMS"

Ultimately, Reach has allowed for quick updates to our client ads. Although most features offered by Reach are not something our company needs, they do however open potential opportunities for us to offer to our clients and utilize in the future. Furthermore, Reach did not have a specific feature that one of their competitors does offer (Watchfire Ignite), but I was able to provide the details of this new feature to a Reach Support Representative and they promised to submit this as a potential feature for the Reach CMS. This may or may not be implemented, but my concern was gladly heard - as such, the Reach customer service has been a very positive experience for myself.

Pros

Features available enable us to compete with most of our competition and surpass others. Which in our case, allows us to offer our clients state-of-the-art service.

Cons

Due to this being a web-based system, certain clunky response times for content updates, caching concerns, CSS consistency errors, etc - all account for a demerit in consumer value. Most of which can be addressed with future front-end updates to the Reach software. Largest concern from a front-end development standpoint would be major inconsistencies in responsive view (mobile, tablet). There should be no limitations between devices. Granted, although many of these appear concerning, the web-based route allows for flexible updates on a diverse set of systems, web-based integrations for RSS Feeds/Social Content, and many other valuable features which would hold its weight in limitations if Reach were a standalone application.

Reason for choosing REACH

We technically use "Watchfire Ignite" for our external digital displays, and chose to remain with them since the hardware was a costly investment. As for our internal digital displays, we use residential grade televisions and a Mini PC (NUC) to house each license supplied by Reach. Most signage companies were not willing to work with our Mini PCs as it was considered "custom hardware", which was a mandatory component for us as we have also invested a lot of money in these Mini PCs, and they work very well for our needs. With that being said and to answer this question, we chose "Reach" because the representatives were both knowledgeable and willing to work with us on a custom package (our hardware, Reach's software).

Pros

I love the ability to create our own custom graphics and add them to our Reach screens. The screens look so professional and consistent throughout our buildings. We have six facilities with screens, and I like being able to manage them all from one place. We've been able to step up the promotion of our products and services while saving time and money.

Cons

So far, it's been a great experience. I don't have anything to add here.

You had to travel to each facility to change the PowerPoint. It was all disjointed, and too difficult to control what was on each screen.

Pros

Ease of use and setup; VERY Customer Service focused- support is amazing; great library of company produced tutorial videos

Cons

Really surprised the future scheduling of content doesn't show up in the upcoming timeline of events. That should really be addressed.

### "Large Scale Migration of 300 Screens"

We had a huge problem. Find a new Content platform for our 300 screens. Find a platform that could handle scheduling. We had outgrown our in-house solution which was lacking in a multitude of features that we found on Reach. The support has always been 100% friendly and helpful, and Reach is always responsive to our needs.

Pros

Without Question, Reach has the best and most flexible scheduling solution I have seen. We like to present relevant and live information on our screens as a complement to our advertiser's content. What better or more pertinent content than a Schedule. Many of our clients are Arenas, and scheduling is thus an essential requirement. When we were looking to migrate, we thought we could never find a suitable scheduling platform until we found Reach. Of course, we do more than schedule, but that is what I like most.

Cons

There is not a lot to dislike. I can see improvements with the online calendar by adding more features, and I know those are on the way.

They are a really great group of people. I really like the team and they are good at sorting out any issues we had.

Pros

I like that almost anything is possible as far as sending various content to a network of displays. The software to push content to displays is easy once you're trained up. I no longer work at the company where I used this software.

Cons

When something is flexible it can be complicated and not very pretty and I think both of those things are true about running content through Reach.

Reason for choosing REACH

I was not involved in the process. I would advise to focus as much or more on hardware requirements and costs as I would the software for content deployment.

The team at reach is by far one of the best in the business. I feel like I am their only client. They are so responsive and easy to work with!

Pros

We really love that we were able to make our boards in the building digital with this software at a cost that was not a huge increase to the condo. The ease of use of the software and that it is online allowed our board to manage what was on the board and to make sure it was appealing to owners and residents.

Cons

I wish there where easy template layouts that we could use and that you offered backgrounds for these templates.

Using REACH has really changed the way my company views signage and customer engagement.

Pros

Managing all of our signage from one computer is awesome. Live updates are so easy. There are so many prebuilt templates available that I hardly have to design anything from scratch. Probably my favorite feature is the interactive polling. All of our clients think it's so cool to walk by and participate in a poll or survey, then see the results later displayed on our boards.

Cons

Occasionally there is a hiccup with the syncing. But it's extremely rare and nothing a quick hard reset can't fix.

We have participants who come in specifically for one class to our building, and may not know what else is going on that we have to offer. REACH gives us an opportunity to very easily advertise to our customer base with a visual display that we were able to tweak to show exactly what information we want, when we want it.

Pros

The software is easy to use and very user friendly. Having had the software for a few years now, I'm always impressed by each new feature added, and the ease it takes to learn how to best implement it.

Cons

Tweaking a display just the way I want it is slightly harder to do than it was with a previous design, but the more I get used to the software, the easier it becomes.

This product is easy to use and customize. Whether you make your own graphics and upload them or use REACH's images and editing tools, you'll be happy with this system. The designers listen to our specific needs and are able to customize our template at any time as well. Everyone I've had contact with has been super helpful and had immediate follow-through. Most importantly, this system is RELIABLE!

Pros

We had a basic one-screen service for multiple years and upgraded our wall screen to REACH just a few weeks ago. Installation and ordering was easy with the help of our contact, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\], who helped us every step of the way from design needs, installation, ordering, billing, and training. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] listened to our specific needs and was able to customize our program to be EXACTLY what we need for the present and for the future. When we thought we had the wrong cords for installation (which we didn't...our mistake), she was willing to send the correct ones overnight. She was willing to go over and above for us. This has been a consistent trend in all of my dealings with REACH. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Cons

The only thing I would change is the design tools. These aren't always easy to use. The best way to get around this is to design in another program and upload an image instead.

Pros

If I'm pressed for time, I can quickly pull from high-quality, pre-made templates and sign options. If I have time to make my own signs, the menu of colors, backgrounds, fonts, and animation features allow me to be creative.

Cons

It would be very helpful if each font name was shown in the actually font; this would make it easier to pick from the list.

Better communication about what our students are currently working on in the building. We put everything on the signs from band concerts, quilting projects, sporting events, parent teacher conferences, lunch menus. Anything that goes on, we put it onto the signs so that when community members and family members are in the building they can get a pretty accurate and recent picture about what's going on at our school.

Pros

It looks very professional and matches our schools colors and logos perfectly. The social media tie ins are also very nice. The YouTube plugin feature is also so simple it's almost idiot proof. I also love that the entire area can be customized to your liking. The Alert system is also very cool for snow days and delays. The parents really like that one. I also like being able to upload PDF files straight to the signs. We get a lot of clothing order forms that are in PDF, so I just toss those up on the signs and we're good to go.

Cons

The scheduling part is a little bit difficult to work with. We have Rschools and it seems to pull a little bit odd, but that may just be me needing to reach out to Customer support representative a little more. It's easy to get it synced up, but it shows (Home) after every event. Not sure why that is. Another thing I've found a little odd is that it is sometimes hard to troubleshoot what is on the screen and what you are seeing when you do a preview. For example, if our FB is not working correctly the display will show all black but the preview will still show the content properly.

Overall, my experience with REACH has been nothing short of amazing! They are a company who truly cares about making the experience easiest for their users and works hard on building customer relationships.

Pros

The most impactful feature of this program is how easy it is to not only use with our computer system, but how easy the implementation process was as well. The customer support for REACH is extremely helpful and efficient! They were able to answer any questions we had quickly and helped resolve any problems we had in a time efficient manner. As the one who updates information to the TV screen, I really appreciate that you are able to do batch uploads. This feature alone saves so much time for those of us who have a ton of other items on their agenda!

Cons

I have not found anything yet that I do not like about this software.

Overall, as a company we chose to use REACH because of it's wonderful price point as well as the choices it allows the users. With REACH we are not only able to upload media pictures, but we are also able to upload videos! This is a new feature for us and we LOVE using it! Videos are extremely fun to display from the front lobby! Thank you REACH for everything- you ave been nothing short of AMAZING!

very easy to use not user friendly if you have any time of logo, animated logo, xmas messages with short video or gifs etc..

Cons

I have over 2000 contacts/Clients on my iphone. Online reviews seemed helpful - but now that I have used it - its not at all designed for my business. I wanted to send out short holiday gifs, or property photo gifs, short video, or messages with my logo on them. Beware, Image attachments DO NOT work with the auto send option. You have to click to send each one. And, beware - if you do not toggle the Fully Automate to ON in your settings (btw- not mentioned in the directions) it Will clog up your emails and texts. Perhaps this is designed for small group use and standard flat messages. But I can email that kind of boring stuff.

Thanks to Reach, we are able to customize our messages to only those areas of the campus that they apply. As the Assistant to the VP of Operations, I am able to quickly and professionally put out messages to our staff, faculty and students with a minimum of overseeing.

Pros

I like the simplicity of Reach - I can quickly update our campus displays. The content scheduling means that I can plan a display to be shown ahead of time, and not worry about making sure it goes up at the appointed time. It will also expire when appointed, so I don't have to keep track of that either.

Cons

Occasionally when I'm trying to edit an already-established item in the playlist, the interface does not keep the drop-down menu open when I try to move the cursor down, so I can't reach the second and third options. This can be frustrating. I have learned to use my scrolling mouse to access it (because that doesn't move my cursor, it moves the page up and down).

Our residents see this in three different places in three different buildings. No matter what building they live in, while they're waiting for the elevator on any level, they get to see the messages of what's going on in the community.

Pros

It makes communication with our over 1,000 residents easy and quick. I add one document, photo, text box and all of our residents can see it instantly.

Cons

I'm still learning how to integrate music into the system.

Pros

The roll out was on time, on budget, and so user friendly! We can have multiple people work on different items and never be in each others way. Updates as our social platforms do - 100% hands off. When you the commitment that they are here for you as a customer...they back it up each and every time.

Cons

We are still looking for the link to also show the digital media through an internal SharePoint site. Players and TV's confine the experience to a location. This would be nice to also share with those working remotely or our remote sites.

Reason for choosing REACH

reach gave us the most options with the customization we needed. It is great to be able to have different boards doing the different messages we need to communicate.

### "REACH APP Helps Reach Kids"

I love using it to spread the word...whether it be sports events, meals being served or wishing kids a happy holiday or vacation throughout the school year! It's an easy way to let our community know what's happening in real time. I really also like all of the stock slides I can use. They are always timely!!

Pros

I am a Food Service Director. I take pictures of the food that is being prepared in our kitchens, upload them to the app and add some text. It's that easy. I also coach and use the app to make slides for the teams, letting them know about practice and letting the rest of the school community know about the outcome of our games. Ease of use would be what I like the most. I also like being able to choose what monitors to display slides on. And also choose the duration for how long it would run.

Cons

What I like the least is that I can not go back to the exact color that I chose for text if I venture off black or white. And sometimes its hard to adjust the size of the text box without moving the picture behind it.
