I've worked with (or tried to work with) similar digital signage programs and none have been as easy to use or reliable as Reach Media. Pros I like that the software contains its own fonts and stock images but also gives the option to upload whatever flyers or images I have as well. This makes it easy to edit past announcements and repost them. I also like the fact that the way each announcement is posted is fully customizable (duration, dates, days of the week, times) Cons I did not like that some of the announcements I created would show slightly differently on my computer than it would on the digital signage. This made it hard to get the borders just right as some pictures would get the edges cut off a little bit. Also, I noticed that when adding text, when I would try to delete text, the browser would send me back to the previous page (as if i just clicked the "back" button in firefox.) I'm not sure if this is a browser issue but this happened several times and would cause me to lose all the work I did on the announcement. Review Source HM Heather M. WE love posting pictures and our members love seeing them selves on the TV screen. Pros I love the simplicity of uploading schedules and creating announcements. It is very user friendly and a great way to communicate with our members. We also enjoy using it to post pictures from special events. Cons I have no cons. Reach allows our business to effectively communicate with employees who are not on company email. There is truly value added with the Reach system. Our company has 29 display screens right now and there is already a desire for more. Pros Reach and their entire team made our digital signage implementation a breeze from the very beginning. With a detailed white-board style initial training and demo setup to our full suite implementing their customer support and tech support is some of the best I've experienced in the customer service industry. Reach's Content Management System is also user friendly with scale-able features that include everything we were looking for. Simple, customize-able, centrally managed, and highly cost effective. Cons Some of the terminology used in the CMS is not always straight forward, there is a slight learning curve from an administrative side. Review Source DR Daniel R. July 22, 2019 5.0 We are able to market to more customers within our branches thanks to REACH. Pros One of the best features from REACH is the Announcement features. By using announcements, are customers are always up to date on new events and programs we offer. You can also have your Facebook feed and play videos in features which is a plus. You call and get help quickly every time, no exceptions. Pros The easy of use to see the status on all of our players. You are able to screenshot and restart a player on a simple click. Pros I like the web based functionality so that the marketing materials can be edited from any PC or Laptop. The hardware installation was very easy to install and is compact. The presentation and images are of high quality. Having a "template" set up by your experts was extremely helpful. Again, your sales and customer service representatives have done a fantastic job! I've already recommended Reach to my technology group that works with other banks and other industries. Cons I would like to learn how to design and create my own templates so that we could change the format once in a a while. Pros Ease of use and the awesome customer support from installation to going live! Cons The layout editor can be pretty tricky if you are not a "techy" person. July 5, 2017 5.0 We were able to create a custom template to display all of the information we wanted shown. Pros I like that it is very customizable and fits our needs. It is very easy to upload content and design the display the way we want it to look. Also the price was great for all of the functionality that it has. Cons If I had to pick something I like the least about this software, I would say that it is sometimes difficult to exit the view on the computer we have running the software. We do not have to hang flyers or posters around our community center because the Reader Board is very professional looking and visible to all. Pros It is Easy and Customer Support is awesome. The software is user friendly and it is easy to train new users. There is a wide variety of features that allow you to customize each screen Cons I do not have any negative comments about this software. January 20, 2016 5.0 The Reach signage is essential to our 465,000 sq/ft multi-sport event complex to inform members/customers of our myriad of programming and activities to locate rooms, events, and schedules showing its flexibility for our Rinks, multi-config Fields, tennis courts, adventure center, batting cages, drop-ins all over the facility: aquatics, gymnastics, basketball, tennis courts, rinks, field and events. Importantly it especially interfaces with Maximum Solutions' Max Galaxy software which schedules our Fields and Rinks especially all our Leagues was crucial in extending Max Galaxy for us. Tech Support and Design staff are excellent to work with and customized the boards to our needs as I can make a change, and they fulfill it usually in an hour or never longer than the next day. The latest update has improved it's reliability from previous version that it's hardly ever gone down. The announcements look really good as our Marketing/Design department can create our own promo/info graphics, upload it, setup the schedule of when and how long it will run and let it be has been easy to use and looks really good allowing us to control it all including video/YouTube. From a cost standpoint the pricing has been adjusted to allow Max Galaxy integration which saves us in the long run! Can't get better than that. Review Source CC Christopher C. April 5, 2018 5.0 It made our entryway appear much more professional and modern. It has also helped us with advertising and disseminating information to our community members. Furthermore, it's allowed us to direct visitors without a physical body at our front desk. Pros The ease of use is probably the best feature. After a quick webinar training, we were able to get our system running in just a few hours. The GUI is very intuitive, and it's really easy to upload PowerPoint slides. We've found that for what we wanted to do, the software is more than capable of delivering. Cons There isn't much to dislike, really. There is a bit of sticking when playing videos as an announcement - the videos will freeze for a second every now and then. The same seems to occur with our scrolling daily schedule - it will momentarily pause now and then, and doesn't look too fluid at times. Minor issue, though. Review Source CB Colin B. Our patrons and daily visitors love to see the exciting things we display as well as easy access to important information. The team working with us has been amazing! Always quick to respond and super helpful. I would definitely recommend REACH Media to any one looking for digital displays. Pros Ease of use. Visually pleasing. Cons The scrolling daily schedule events fall off after they are over for the day. Our patrons like to see all of the classes in a specific day so they can plan for the next week. The service team is very responsive and consistant with good quality customer service. Pros I am very impressed with the digital signage software, because of it's high quality performance, easy to use, and has a lot of flexibility to keep contents fresh. The service team helped me get exactly what I was looking for. My favorite feature is the visual impact of the energy dashboard and updated announcements that displays simultaneously. Cons The only "con" I can think of is when the software was updated with suggested enhanced layout and some new features. I have some users that I was just able to give them a login and they were able to figure out some of the basic tasks. Cons The interface is good but seems clunky as far as the announcements are handled. Other than that, the software has been great to use. Also, being able to integrate our system to display group exercise classes works really well! Cons I think from a user experience point of view, the interface of the software online can be a bit confusing and rough around the edges but it does get the job done.
