August 28, 2017 5.0 Better communication about what our students are currently working on in the building. We put everything on the signs from band concerts, quilting projects, sporting events, parent teacher conferences, lunch menus. Anything that goes on, we put it onto the signs so that when community members and family members are in the building they can get a pretty accurate and recent picture about what's going on at our school. Pros It looks very professional and matches our schools colors and logos perfectly. The social media tie ins are also very nice. The YouTube plugin feature is also so simple it's almost idiot proof. I also love that the entire area can be customized to your liking. The Alert system is also very cool for snow days and delays. The parents really like that one. I also like being able to upload PDF files straight to the signs. We get a lot of clothing order forms that are in PDF, so I just toss those up on the signs and we're good to go. Cons The scheduling part is a little bit difficult to work with. We have Rschools and it seems to pull a little bit odd, but that may just be me needing to reach out to Customer support representative a little more. It's easy to get it synced up, but it shows (Home) after every event. Not sure why that is. Another thing I've found a little odd is that it is sometimes hard to troubleshoot what is on the screen and what you are seeing when you do a preview. For example, if our FB is not working correctly the display will show all black but the preview will still show the content properly. Review Source BL Bruce L. Pros Setup was very easy. Reach is very user friendly product. You can train a user easly in 1/2 hour or less to do the basics to get them up and running. We use the product to implement rebroadcast of our local church sevices. That is one of the main reason for purchasing he software. Instead of brining in dvd, or thumb drives, they can now upload their videos to the cloud and I can go in and set the playback time. I t has saved me tons of time. Cons Right now I do not have anything that I do not like about this program. It gives us everything we have asked for the software to do for us. Reason for choosing REACH They did an excellant job of selling the product. I asked for certain thing it could accomplish and the sale person provided the necessary information. Can't imagine using anything different!" March 8, 2021 5.0 Overall, my experience with REACH has been nothing short of amazing! They are a company who truly cares about making the experience easiest for their users and works hard on building customer relationships. Pros The most impactful feature of this program is how easy it is to not only use with our computer system, but how easy the implementation process was as well. The customer support for REACH is extremely helpful and efficient! They were able to answer any questions we had quickly and helped resolve any problems we had in a time efficient manner. As the one who updates information to the TV screen, I really appreciate that you are able to do batch uploads. This feature alone saves so much time for those of us who have a ton of other items on their agenda! Cons I have not found anything yet that I do not like about this software. Reason for choosing REACH Overall, as a company we chose to use REACH because of it's wonderful price point as well as the choices it allows the users. With REACH we are not only able to upload media pictures, but we are also able to upload videos! This is a new feature for us and we LOVE using it! We use it to show our videos of our programs in the lobby area. We also use to inform our constituents our schedule and offerings. It helps us to be more green as we do not need to print out as many flyers. We have also increased the number of current participants that may not know other offerings we have and now Cons We are not able to connect it to our current software. I can do my job without any problems and concerns. Pros We use Reach Digital Signage to announce our weekly colloquium. Also We announce Graduate employment opportunities, Award nights, Screening of special seminar related to our department etc. I could announce it all easily and faster with the help of Reach digital signage. It has option to add start, end date with start and end time. I like that you can add multiple slides and decide content duration. Cons It does have preview option which should give you preview of the screen on your laptop/desktop. But This preview option doesn't always work. Review Source AB Amy B. (there is a minimum of 40 characters required here.) Pros very easy to use not user friendly if you have any time of logo, animated logo, xmas messages with short video or gifs etc.. Cons I have over 2000 contacts/Clients on my iphone. Online reviews seemed helpful - but now that I have used it - its not at all designed for my business. I wanted to send out short holiday gifs, or property photo gifs, short video, or messages with my logo on them. Beware, Image attachments DO NOT work with the auto send option. You have to click to send each one. And, beware - if you do not toggle the Fully Automate to ON in your settings (btw- not mentioned in the directions) it Will clog up your emails and texts. As the Assistant to the VP of Operations, I am able to quickly and professionally put out messages to our staff, faculty and students with a minimum of overseeing. Pros I like the simplicity of Reach - I can quickly update our campus displays. The content scheduling means that I can plan a display to be shown ahead of time, and not worry about making sure it goes up at the appointed time. It will also expire when appointed, so I don't have to keep track of that either. Cons Occasionally when I'm trying to edit an already-established item in the playlist, the interface does not keep the drop-down menu open when I try to move the cursor down, so I can't reach the second and third options. This can be frustrating. I have learned to use my scrolling mouse to access it (because that doesn't move my cursor, it moves the page up and down). Review Source Megan P. April 26, 2018 5.0 Pros I love that the software is web-based and I can update it from anywhere. Also, Reach is compatible with our registration software, which in turn, is less work for me. The customer service is amazing. They are quick to respond when I reach out and occasionally proactively check-in with me. When we give tours of our facility, one of the first compliments we receive are about the digital screens and schedules. Cons The cost of the software is somewhat expensive considering we have to pay a maintenance fee annually; however, in the end it's worth it. No matter what building they live in, while they're waiting for the elevator on any level, they get to see the messages of what's going on in the community. Pros It makes communication with our over 1,000 residents easy and quick. I add one document, photo, text box and all of our residents can see it instantly. The product is perfect for our company needs and it is very easy to use. Pros The ease of use. The built in tools to create announcements are simple and uncomplicated. The support team is attentive and communicative. Cons I originally chose this product over the other provider because it offered a Facebook Live feature that is no longer available. It does not look like this feature is being reinstated. Alternatives considered [Aurora Digital Signage](https://www.capterra.com/p/141351/Aurora-Digital-Signage/) Reason for choosing REACH Reach, at the time, provided a Facebook Live feature to be broadcasted to all of our LED signage. It's great I can put content on and schedule how log it stays up there. I am a one person Marketing team and this has made my job so much easier. Cons Honestly there is not much I can say that I like least about Reach. Cons We are still looking for the link to also show the digital media through an internal SharePoint site. Players and TV's confine the experience to a location. This would be nice to also share with those working remotely or our remote sites. Reason for choosing REACH reach gave us the most options with the customization we needed. The best feature of this software is its video integration using video files and YouTube links. We have been able to include full video programs into our graphic message board. Cons We have had issues with the social media layouts and integration. The software includes URLs that might be included in a Facebook or Twitter post. " July 5, 2022 5.0 Pros I've used REACH for the last 4 years for the campus monitors my institution of employment uses. The system is very easy-to-use and I have appreciated the images and templates they already have established that you can embed into your messages. I also appreciate how over the years, they've continued to update and enhance this feature. I had never used a system like this before and found it user friendly. More than anything, my favorite thing about REACH is the customer service. I receive lightning fast, knowledgeable responses to my questions. They go above and beyond to not only answer my question, but provide me with additional resources for future use. When I have a problem they are quick to get it resolved. Pros I like the image display and the updates. Our ambulances look great on the monitor and it is the first thing people see when they walk in. The combination of the images with the scrolling updates looks very professional and helps with communication within the company. Cons The software is very easy to use. I don't know of anything I would list as a negative feature. It is convenient to be able to load the same information on multiple screens at one time vs having to go into each playlist. Cons There is really nothing that I dislike or struggle with. I like that it's pretty reliable as well, I can schedule a sign remotely and I don't have to worry that it didn't publish correctly Cons Managing permissions can be a little tricky, we've asked multiple times for another department to not be able to publish to our screen without permission and unfortunately REACH still hasn't taken care of this. With minimal IT support, I can submit an update via the web-link and instant changes occur. Removing the need for approvals or IT involvement. Pros At our sites, we use the software on strategically placed TV's. The break rooms, front office, throughout the facility to communicate upcoming events for the associates, greetings to vistors, safety metrics of the site, weather updates and general information to share with the team. Cons I am an advanced PC user, and have been exposed to a lot of different software suites and I was able to navigate the reach software with some minimal time spent on the videos supplied. However for a less experienced user it can be a bit difficult on that learning curve. Reason for choosing REACH Another 5 of our sites were already using REACH, so I contacted Reach and our contact at the other sites to orchestrate a tool which was in use elsewhere. Overall, I am extremley satisfied with the services provided by REACH. Pros Love having the ability to display different content on multiple monitors. We were able to digitize our brand on the welcome display for our guest, thus reducing the need for paper brochures. Most of our employees are not able to check emails regularly so having the option to display important company announcements facility wide is a major plus for our organization. Contacting REACH Customer Service was a breeze; the employees are very knowledgeable and offer excellent technical support. Cons Have not experienced any issues with the software. Cons Hardware obsolescence - as Windows 10 releases updates that are sizable, the older players with smaller hard drives have presented a hurdle in getting the latest versions to successfully install. They are very responsive and helpful when issues arise. Pros The REACH system is extremely easy to use. It gives us the ability to schedule content as far in advance as we would like. Once you have your content created it literally takes less than a minute to publish to however many screens you want. Cons Some more sorting options would be nice. Such as the ability to sort by "scheduled" content. Also it would be nice to schedule something for more than one timeframe at a time. For example, right now if I have a poster to publish for Monday to Tuesday one week and Thursday to Saturday 2 weeks in the future, I would have to do two separate publish tasks.
