Pros Its very easy to learn and update daily. We had some difficulty with setup but that was primarily user error, the Reach Media staff was very helpful and responsive when trying to get it off the ground and running. Pros The ablility to schedule items in the playlist. Cons The new version can be cumbersome, having to upload to the media and then put into the playlist. I have not been successful in playing video from YouTube. Pros Easy to use Uses basic Microsoft Word functions for media displays I can schedule flyers and video whenever i would like Cons I wish it would delete or add multiple files at once. When I submit a support ticket, I get 19 emails saying the ticket is open or transferred to someone. The ticket info I get via email is yet to be helpful to say something is fixed or in progress. Pros Easy of use for my entry level users and ability to manage hardware / restart hardware remotely. Pros The software is very easy to learn. Also, everyone at Reach are very helpful, friendly and professional. When I call with a question, I get quick response. I never get the run around having to waiting 2 days for someone to call me back to answer my question. I highly recommend this software, it is the best around. With Reach, I haven't had to restart any players in the last 6 months that we've been using them. Cons If there is a repeated slide that plays on 80 days during the year, I have to input and upload a new slide 80 times instead of being able to schedule a slide with 80 dates. This makes the facility look cleaner and more modern. Pros I like the ease to which I can post messages to the announcement system. Our graphic designers create the announcements and they post quickly and clearly. Cons Operating the scheduler is a little clunky and and non-intuitive at first. Their customer service is very responsive. The newsletters they send monthly are great to see new trends or features - or just to be clued into what's going on. They are great at reinforcing a human element to tech company. Pros Reach Media's CMS is incredibly easy to navigate and very intuitive. The features they offer definitely grab viewers attention to inform them of pertinent organizational matters. Cons I wish we had purchased the higher CPU players to prevent any lag or buffering when we call iframes into our widgets. Sometimes updates that are going on in the background may increase the blank space in a widget - however I will say, whenever this happens (rarely) Reach technical crew is very quick at helping resolve any issues. They've addressed any issues that we've had as complete professionals. The tools they've built give a TON of features and capabilities for making your perfect display. Pros The REACH software makes it very easy to customize, alter and add to our displays. Over time, they have continued to add new tools and functionality, while also improving the interface and making the existing tools better. After testing several Reach was the easiest to setup and get running. The web interface is easy to manage and to assign users specific permissions and screens. You can have content up and running in a few minutes. When you call for support you get someone almost immediately. Cons Their iFrame embedding sometimes has issues. No long wait times and very knowledgeable support team. I love that I can schedule content to be posted in the future. I can easily work ahead and get items out of my queue. Very customization! April 12, 2021 5.0 Reach has been the easiest company for us to work with and has been very responsive during the setup and initial launch stage. With any API integration from a 3rd party it can be challenging but Reach jumped in and made it work right away. Was very smooth transition for us and a great looking visual display with our data automatically being fed to the system and displayed daily. Pros This software is very easy to use and the group integrated our data from a 3rd party vendor and made it seamless for our operation. Cons There is nothing about this software that we do not like. June 30, 2017 5.0 REACH Media helps us communicate with the residents in our community by sharing information about upcoming events, announcing important community information or emergency information, and making sure everyone can see our schedule whenever they like, by simply stepping off of the elevator! It helps us communicate and look good doing it. Pros REACH Media is an easy to use web-based software that I can access from any place with an internet connection via my phone or computer. The initial training was informative and easy to follow. I love that I can create my announcement slides in the web portal or use any other program I choose and simply upload the image. REACH regularly releases intuitive updates that make the process easier and easier. So now, when I accidentally make my slide the wrong size, I can easily resize it to fit without distortion. I no longer forget to go all the way through the publishing dialogue to set start and end dates and times. The last few updates have given me tools that I didn't even realize I wanted. Thank you! Cons I work in an office 20 miles away from the location of our REACH Media devices. Occasionally a box goes offline and it's a little tough to troubleshoot from across town. (On at least one occasion it was not the fault of the program, but an issue with the internet connection at our property. I had to back out of the program and troubleshoot those issues independently.) I wonder though, for other times when there's a Caching issue and my new slide doesn't load, if I could gain remote access to take corrective action. I have corrected these caching issues a few times, but was able to be on-site to do so. I must point out though, that I haven't had this come up in a while! Review Source CS Cody S. Pros It is indeed very easy to get going and update the content on our players. Cons Keeping it running is a headache, the players disconnected frequently and become de-synced from the REACH network often. Sometimes in the 2 hours it takes to transport a player from where we configure them to their final location an update's been pushed and we now need support to fix it. Review Source Matt H. REACH is a definite leader in the signage market and would highly recommend to anyone who is searching for a powerful corporate messaging tool. Pros I like all pre-built content I have access to. It allows for a powerful message with minimal upkeep. The system can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be. Having that type of flexibility makes this system a homerun. As well, the PowerPoint import tool makes it super easy for folks with minimal computer knowledge to update content. Pros I really enjoyed working with the team as we were switching to Reach for our digital signage needs. It was an easy transition since the staff at Reach helped setup the back-end the way we needed for our business. Cons My biggest wish for continuing work as an Admin is to have a bit more control over our devices and configuring our environments. This is a minimal concern as the team at Reach is always available to quickly help us complete these tasks.
