Easy to pick up, easy to use, once you know how everything works.

Pros

I love that I can control it remotely. I work from home so I can program it at home, and even if I go out of town or on vacation, I just need a laptop to update it.

Cons

A quirk in the time format of the system: in the Announcements section, you end at 11:59pm on the day you want it to end, but in the Schedule section, it ends at 12am the next day, so you have to put an end date as the day AFTER you want it to end. Also wish there were more fonts available; it would be great to have access to the Google fonts library. And would love to be able to move text boxes in the Announcements section using arrow keys to nudge, or be able to use some kind of alignment tool.

Reach is user friendly and allows everyone on my team that needs to have access to utilize it so that we are able to communicate with the public in our building. I can update both in house or remotely.

Cons

Developing new layouts could be a little easier but the reach team is great to work with.

We are currently using REACH as our community bulleting board eliminating the need for numerous flyers scattered throughout our building. We are also using REACH to acknowledge our annual donors

Pros

The flexibility of this product is amazing. We first used it for a "digital bulletin" board at our local YMCA. We posted class schedules, and various activities going on at the Y. We added two TV's and now use these new TV's to thank all of our donors. We scroll donor names and specific TV's so people know where they will be recognized

Cons

Would like more design capability in the creating announcements

My overall experience with reach is AWESOME and I am still learning and navigating around the system. It helps us by allowing our patron s to see what we have going on in the building and also what programs are available. Very, very informational and our patrons love it.

Pros

I like the way it's set up to be able to put announcements on the reach board. It's easy and you have several ways and options to pull from. I can download images and or grab them from my computer. The Reach informational board looks amazing in out front lobby.

Cons

Intergration was great, but I fell like scheduling was a bit complicated. But overall it's a great system and maybe I just have to practice on my scheduling a bit more.

Reason for choosing REACH

REACH was our first option.

My general manager presented REACH to my coworkers and I, and I was a bit concerned thinking it would be a hard software to get acquainted with, but to my pleasant surprise it was the complete opposite! Once we finished the webinar training with the REACH representative, I was very confident I would be able to get the hang of the software. Since then, I have made quite a few announcements directly from the REACH website, I've uploaded my own images and used stock images from REACH as well. I am able to do everything with such ease, I love this software. It has become such a great addition to our company.

Pros

I love how easy all the functions for this software are. It's very straightforward creating new content on the site, uploading content to the site, and even just maneuvering the website in general is a breeze. Even when i'm not certain about where to find something, i feel confident just browsing the site and knowing i'll find what i'm looking for.

Cons

I can't say i have any complaints about the software. When i encountered an issue and addressed customer service they were quick to answer any question i had.

I saw no client bookings from reach that were not already signed up for a session with me. I was hesitant to try the software because of my business model. The sales rep that was persistent with me insisted that it would be a good fit based on my model to fill slots. As an owner operator running on lean start-up margins, I did not want to purchase a service that did not fit my model. While their automation seems clean from the emails that a client shared with me, it does not fit a small group personal training model for any prospective gym owners out there. Overall, seems like solid service, but the sales reps just need to take more time with fitness studios to ACUTALLY investigate if it's a good fit before pushing it to owners with models that don't fit their new launch in the fitness industry. I called and was quickly able to cancel service with Rex, but he was unable to accommodate my request to remedy the lack of results that Reach was able to provide for my model within the first month of paid service. Disappointed that there was no leeway in their customer service model to alleviate poor results for owners in the new launch in the fitness industry.

Pros

Easy to implement via no work on their software needing to be put into trying to fill group training sessions.

Cons

I was not able to see the marketing that was being done for my small group personal training sessions. I would like to see what my clients are seeing and how reach is communicating to them.

We have several TV/announcement boards at our school (6 to be exact). Before Reach we use to run a Power Point slide show in kiosk mode. It was cumbersome and it lead to us not updating content as often as we would like. We knew there had to be a better way. Now that we are running Reach, our content is fresh and we get compliments from parents all the time. As students and parents sit in our lobbies they naturally watch a TV. What a great way to get information out to people.

Pros

The part we like best about Reach is being able to update our announcements from anywhere. We can login at the office or from home and add up to date content.

Cons

I really can't think of a con. At one point I was having trouble embedding video but I believe Reach is rolling out a fix for that.

This software made me look great, my Director really likes the layout of our lobby monitors. I am so glad Reach attended the EMS Conference so that I could discover them.

Pros

The software was easy to install our IT department had no problems with the installation and setting up the connection with EMS. IT department really liked that when they called in for assistance a live person answered the call. I really enjoy the functionality of the software. Customer support is great they are positive and responsive.

Cons

I have not experienced any cons about this software so far in my short time using it. The software works great for us.

Pros

There is so much more you can do with this program than what we have attempted. We frequently have guests from outside the country, so maximizing their time at our company is essential. While on breaks, the tv screens provide a chance for our guests to watch a brief overview of our product, read live social media updates, and see how we have highlighted their visit with a warm welcome. Company updates for employees are easily shared as everyone enters the building.

Cons

While this program is incredibly user-friendly and fun to use, being technically inept can create a speed bump. (So, this is not a software problem, this is a "me" problem) I am intimidated by some of the options and am hesitant to try to learn. Your customer service folks have always been extremely helpful, kind, and patient. There is no hesitation on my part to ask for help ~ they truly are wonderful!

My experience with everyone at REACH has been phenomenal. The software is easy to use, and easy to update. We have been so happy with them, we are in the process of getting another screen to display information for our on-site restaurant.

Pros

How easy it is to use. We currently have two screens that we use as informational boards for our guests/clients, letting them know where and when things are happening in the hotel. I can have them all displaying the same information, or have something only display on one of the screens.

Cons

When my reader boards are not working, which doesn't happen very often. Even when it does the technical support team helps troubleshoot what the problem is and will get it corrected as quickly as possible.

We have garnered a huge following from not only our internal departments, but from the community as well. We have several monitors set up at different sites, so we are able to capture an array of people who view this software. We are able to advertise and inform others in a different form other than just mass email or FaceBook.

Pros

Easy to manage. Less troublesome with layouts and fantastic array of fonts, although we would like more added.

Cons

We run into stagnant periods where our finished layouts wouldn't load. While working on a layout, the software kicks us out after only after a couple of minutes. We would like to have it open for an extended period of time, as we multitask often and this would be beneficial.

We have solved the break in communication from management to our employees. Any updates or information that needs to get to our employees is found in a centralized location where all can see. REACH has made it quick and easy to keep everyone informed.

Pros

The ease of use has got to be the best thing about the software. I have been able to train someone quickly and easily to make updates.

Cons

I wish it was easier to change the Layout of the home page. Not that its bad but just to change it up from time to time.

We LOVE the REACH software at our recreation center. Our only issue with it is we've had to reset our PC numerous times over the past few years because the screens haven't appeared like they should. But, whenever we have a problem, the support team is very quick at responding and fixing the problem!

Pros

I like that you can update the information from any computer as long as there is internet connection.

Cons

Our seems to lose internet connection a lot, so we have the reset the system quite frequently. That could be a problem on our end though.

We were able to implement a digital signage solution quickly and painless across our campus.

Pros

The software is very easy to use. You can see the overall health of your players in a single screen and update content easily anywhere with any device that has internet.

Cons

The announcements are a little tricky. To remove an announcement but not delete it you have to remove it from the group and not delete is. Also not being able to add iframe announcements is not good. Having to add them in the layout makes it tough to control what content is displayed and in what order.

Pros

I love the fact that you can create content and have it published on different boards in different places. Very easy for our administrators to publish and update content.

Would really love all these great features to be seen on a cellphone

Ease of operational platform support on AWS. Limited time spent by me and my staff to keep it up and running. Easy to use web interface. Excellent support model. Very reasonable cost.

Cons

Release process could be more refined. Product purchase when it comes to new hardware is not fully developed. Need to scale up support & purchasing process for a large customer base as opposed to emailing individuals for customer needs.

Pros

Ease of use - it's customizable, and the options to project varying media types allow for choice. We use it for announcements and scrolling calendar events such as sports and clubs. Because we live in a visual society, having the ability to use images to reinforce important points, is vital to our communication.

Cons

At times, there are glitches in the projection. Having said this, the glitches could be related to some of our equipment.

We are exciting about the ease of sharing important information with our campus stakeholders and guests-we did not have that capability prior to implementing REACH. When I visited other campuses I was always impressed with their digital signage, but I often thought it would be too complicated and require more support than I had access to. REACH proved me wrong. We were up in running almost immediately after receiving our equipment. The implementation could not have been any easier.

Pros

The software was user friendly and easy to implement.

Cons

The assignment of boxes to specific locations was a bit challenging at first, but that was easily resolved.

I love that when we discussed needing to add a screen outside, and had an idea, but needed to know if it could be done that REACH customer support was ON IT!!!! We now have our outdoor television with mount, and all that we need to connect to REACH and get info to folks that are visiting our outdoor areas (playground, disc golf, outdoor pool, tennis courts, etc. . .) Now I feel that we "reach" (no pun intended) everyone that visits the center - both in and out!! Thank you - Thank you - Thank you!!

Pros

The ability to create content so easily and get it to the areas that need it. I love that if we are doing something center specific, we can just advertise here, but when we want the community to know, it is just as easy as leaving all of our boxes checked for all areas. Brilliant!!

Cons

I cannot for the life of me think of anything that I do not like about the software - it has been an absolute game changer for our recreation center!!
