The team at PestRoutes is the best! I've used several softwares during my time in the industry and I have to say that PestRoutes is the hands down the best. We started using them two years ago and the growth of the system amazes me! The team is always pushing forward and deals with probably their most difficult customer with ease (us at TruForce)! We always have little things we'd like to see and I can't tell you how many beta versions we've had! Don't go anywhere else trust me!

The team behind the software is really what makes the great software it is!

If I could combine what I love about my old CRM into field routes and make it way more user-friendly, I would. And make a mint as well. It was too techy. We're Pest Control operators, not IT techs.

Pros

Trigger rules make all the difference in reminder text, declined cards, and all-around collections. Allibilty to do gprhs for termite and inspection reports is the wat to go since we do that mooly.

Cons

Too many clicks to get stuff done. The calendar runs top to bottom, left to right, and is much better. The customer card is stuidp the customer card should be a full screen and have everything, including appointments. Charging for sms is dumb in an age where you can sms for free. Also, the credit card charges are the highest in the industry.

The program is not a smooth or easy software to use. It does not make the company life easier in many ways. It is a good start to a software, but y'all really need to use real business owners to help you develop it a little better.

Pros

I like the many options it provides and the reports. It looks neater than other software programs and is organized ok.

Cons

There are no ways to delete different events and mistakes, or to revert mistakes. If I create an event, or checklist, it is not easily undone. If I want to change the way I do things in the company, I cannot because there is not an easy way to change what I do on FieldRoutes.

It has been great and is a complete software package with its bugs, but overall, it works great. You have people who really care about us as users.

Pros

It is very easy to use and is able to use third-party applications with ease. Has been easy to train new employees.

Cons

Support tickets are taking a long time to close. Some of the software is slower than other areas at times

The transition from our old software provider was not easy but the overall experience w/FieldRoutes has been positive.

Pros

My favorite feature of FieldRoutes are the various tools to assist me w/scheduling, routing, & invoicing. This program assists me with all of my professional responsibilities as a CSR.

Cons

The "training" leading up to switching over from ServeSuite was really poor. It was way too condensed, way too surface level & in my opinion should be taught by people who actively use the program not the folks that create the software.

The secure payments, the variety of usage I can get out of it. Many apps/tools all in one place. The extra features, the stat tracking, the competitions, the support, the simplicity and just all of it. My company runs very smoothly because of this app.

Cons

Quite expensive for small companies, I've been a small company, under 500 customers for a fee years now, and it's costing me about $364/mo. I wish they had smaller company package pricing.

Support has improved greatly over the last year. This software has allowed us to grow beyond our imagination.

Pros

Field routes is the best thing we did! Routing is great, the fact you can use it when you don't have service is huge. Customer communication tools is great.

Cons

The cost of Field routes is the biggest con. Although it does everything we need it to do, we continue to have conversations about the future based solely on price. If it was a little more cost effective, we would be partners for life no question.

Overall experience with FieldRoutes has been exceptional. Tracking products used, scheduling, invoicing, and features are all a breeze once you learn the system.

Pros

FieldRoutes is great for scheduling and invoicing. Very user friendly and if there are any issues a quick call is all it takes to get issues resolved.

Cons

What I like the least about field routes is that you can't just reschedule an entire day, ie: shift a friday to a monday, you must reschedule individual routes on a given day.

Overall i like servsuite for its multi-tier program, adds multiple events for each program at predetermined intervals and pricing- but it comes with many many flaws, it has become very frustrating- their effors are great but fixes are very slow and it is impacting out work flow

We have only been using Field Routes since October 2025 and it has helped us Decrease the Office Staff. It is a Great once you learn the System!

Pros

I like the Automated Scheduling it help cuts down on the time you are calling clients trying to get them on the Schedule. It has really helped with A/R it send out Reminders Periodically to let the Client know they still have a balance.

Cons

When the Technician Closes a ticket it should send a PDF File of the Invoice and not just the Portal Log in for them to pay.

It has been overall great, the only thing I find an issue with is the linked billing. Everything else has been straightforward and easy to learn & use.

Pros

My company just switched to Field Routes from a very old pest control program. This program has been a breath of fresh air for us! It has streamlined everything we used to have to have 4-5-6 steps to get done we can now do in 1 click! It's so easy to schedule appointments & know exactly how far away from the next stop they are. I love the map features so we know we are not going out of the way & keeping all the routes right in line. This is definitely worth the subscription price, the features alone speak for themselves. Anytime you have an issue there are so many answers in the knowledge base & if you can't find an answer email support & they reach out right away. I like the security & knowing whos logged in & seeing everything being done by every user. Invoicing has never been easier, click a button & it's done! I like knowing that the system will tell us if we have missed an appointment & can get it right back into the schedule. This helps us manage our business & make sure we have the least amount of risk while still being able to grow & makes it so easy to manage all of our products, etc.

Cons

The linking of bills/accounts. It was never really explained in any training forum. Every time you link or unlink an account, you have to move an invoice & then get 3 invoice numbers instead of one & it can be extremely confusing.

The ease and clean set up of the application to do my daily work. It makes my daily workload fly by with ease to give great customer support securely.

The app freezes at times while attempting to schedule a customer appointment. I have to reboot the app or just wait to get scheduling done!

It hit or miss, somedays it runs great and some days it doesn't. I wish there was intro to using the software classes so that new users can learn and train and use it to its full ability. There are also a lot of restrictions for business use, whether its billing, color coding, note capacity.

Pros

I like the rescheduling aspect of it, it makes relocating jobs a lot easier. The different ways to see how routes can be scheduled to maximize efficiently.

Cons

On map scheduling, it would be nice to have the ability to assign techs colors, so its easy to look at their routes. The lagging when moving appointments has been problematic. There is also no really good manual for a 100% new person that's never used field routes they can reference for training. I feel like I am not utilizing the software as much as I could due to lack of training information for new users.

I would never recommend it to anyone . If you find it useful you dont know pest control

Wasnt very much to like . Have been in the pest control industry 38 yrs.

Cons

When first inquiring about it was told by the sales person "Its the greatest. We take pestpac customer every day ." would only get to see the sosftware for a few minutes then either had to sign or not. I signed what I though was a one year agreement which included an upload of our data. Our implementation person was knowlegdable about the software but not pest control. The we found out that I was not signed up for an upload but they took my $1300 anyway. You get one hour a day for the first week the one hour a week after that . They are going to charge you for months while you arent live. Customer service is non existent, .... It is a series of home offices ..Everyone works from home . They decided to try and upload data using our reports in excel format. That was great except no history , no phone numbers and no emails . we were 3 weeks in , no data, and still 3 months from going live and decided to cancel and stay with pestpac. Pest pac is hands down a superior software in every form and better customer svc. Then they informed us we had signed a 3 year agreement and we wont get a penny back even though they never did an upload,. The claims they make online are dreams
