PestRoutes is great even with the billing issues. Once the billing is resolved it will easily be a 5 star software.

Pros

I like that many features that are "add ons" for other software is already included with PestRoutes at no additional charge.

Cons

Billing. The billing is not great for anything other than residential or one time jobs. I want each service to have a charge but then it automatically sends a bill when I want to send one bill at the end of the month. So then you can use the recurring bill option but it again will automatically send it out without you getting a chance to update it or add notes. Also, putting a charge in each individual ticket does not count as a "subscription" so when you are running reports you will not see the account listed. There is also not a way to send a bill to someone but not send a service notification. I have a customer that only wants invoices but if I put his email address under "billing", the system will still send him service notifications even if there is not an email address there. Also, the system does not separate pdf for service notification vs invoice. I want the invoice to include a pdf but then the system will automatically attach a pdf of the invoice to the service notification and many times the person receiving the notification should not be the person receiving the invoice. And if the invoice is zero because they get billed at the end of the month, the service notification will include a pdf of a zero dollar invoice which confuses the customer. So whenever I need to send an invoice, I have to change the system settings then change them back. I often will forget to change it back then I get calls from customers.

Overall, I have been very pleased with learning and using PestRoutes. I can't wait to see what new features will roll out in the coming months and years!

Pros

There are so many features available to use and the "Tips & Tricks" webinars truly help you to learn how to utilize these features to suit your company's needs.

Cons

There are some things with billing and invoicing I wish were a little different. It would be nice to customize certain customers needs. Also, would love to be able to print multiple invoices on a customer(s) at a time instead of one by one.

We are extremely happy with FieldRoutes!

Pros

It is easy to use. The ability to make changes to schedules that are seen by the technicians instantly has really saved the company time. The billing functions and features has helped us to reduce the use of paper, and speed up the monthly billing process.

Cons

I would like to see greater reporting capability on the custom side. There are some communication features that are so general we are unable to use them.

### "What you ask for."

Over all I think its the best software for a pestcontrol company.

Pros

All the records are together. The price is not bad.

Cons

Calling in for help. Making us take pictures. Not getting the help we ask for. Being told you will get a referral fee and it never comes. Its not easy to print. The monthly Job reports that the State of Georgia wants is not in this program. And there is other cheaper programs that has them in the software. the graph program is bad.

### "Field Routes 1.5 Month Review"

COVID has become an excuse for companies to save money and reduce onsite customer support. The service tech has become and/or is becoming obsolete. All the issues that we are experiencing could be resolved in 0.5 - 1.5 days if we could simply get a tech to visit. There's no replacement for person-to-person, one-on-one interaction. We've been working the same issues for about a month. There's only so much that can be done via phone, video chat etc.

Pros

Compared to some other programs I've installed and used, this one is about as easy as it gets for the basic stuff. Setting up some of the detailed features is a little less intuitive.

Cons

It's only been 1.5 months so I'm willing to be a bit more patient but some of the features that were "guaranteed" aren't quite working. Our two companies have not been able to figure out why the emailing function doesn't work. The program is supposed to send out an email to select people when an inspection is completed using the mobile device. We have yet to receive any. We've been working on customization reporting and it's not quite where we need it to be. this is a long and tedious process when you only meet for an hour at a time, twice a week. Especially if the things worked on during the in-between time doesn't work. it's like starting from ground zero each mtg.

Reason for choosing FieldRoutes

They have the best demo of the group, the price was reasonable and it promised to meet all our needs. PestPac is the leader in Pest Control Software but they are outragously expensive. We are a company that simply wants to do our own in-house pest control, not become an IPMC.

They key features I like most about this product is the ease of use, the migration process coming over was fairly easy with no major setbacks. The customer service is very prompt to address your problems or concerns.

Cons

I feel like the Sentricon portion of the software could really use a lot more work. The routing would be more helpful if it were based of actual driving directions. Not proximity.

Regardless of my issues, Customer SERVICE WAS THE BOMB. I use other softwares in another line of work, and don't get this kind of customer service. I recommended search by Invoices, not sure if my recommendation was what spurred this upgrade, but I certainly felt listened to. As I have used the product I have gotten better, and when I need something or don't understand why the product is doing something, the explanations from customer service are timely, educational and patient.

Pros

The ease of which I can track my customers, input their treatments with the pricing, and notification of completed treatment. It's AWESOME and takes less time to enter as used. Also like the merchant pay portal and the reporting features. I couldn't say more about the reporting features, it's just amazing!

Cons

not reliable when using a free email service and the extra costs to that, though minimal was annoying.

Reason for choosing FieldRoutes

ability to download to excel and export the data that I need for reporting taxes, chemical, history of appointments, ability to run reports on most everything (very very important for tracking purposes) and the ability to see in real time, where the technician has checked in, and when completed.

### "Great Overall Product"

Overall, we have had a great experience with Field Routes. The customer service is very good and helpful.

Pros

It is fairly easy to use once you get the hang of it. The mobile app is extremely easy to use. The desktop/browser takes some training because there are so many options but once you get the hang of it, it's not bad at all.

Cons

There could be some updates for it to be more user friendly in certain areas. I also wish that it was integrated with QuickBooks as that is what we do our invoicing in.

### "Complicated and Faulty"

Very frustrating. Luckly our direct customer service contact is a genius! Calling in to their normal customer service line is always a waste of time and I find I generally know more about their software than they do. Automatic doesn't exist for ServSuite, if you want something "automatic" to happen in this software, someone has to push a button.

Pros

It keeps track of our customers and their program and payment information. ServSuite Mobile is easier to complete services on than doing it via paper. It stores which chemicals were used and can print them on the work orders that get sent to customers (very handy when we get audited by the state).

Cons

Where to start... Everything about ServSuite is buggy. For instance, if you don't put the address in perfectly, it won't show up in any searches. If you don't click the right buttons in just the right order, you won't get the results you're looking for (or the same results you got the time before). We are constantly sending in issues to our direct customer service contact and they have to look into them and fix them on the back end or send them in for programming to be resolved. Their marketing module doesn't work. Their forms (templates for emails, letters, etc.) are so complicated, clunky, and archaic that we don't even want to use them. Everything is so intertwined with everything else that if they do an update to fix something, it kicks something else out of functionality. We get by, but "Well, it's ServSuite..." is the constant joke in the office when we don't have an explanation for something random that happened. We shouldn't have to find alternate ways to get around something that we pay for in order to run our business, but that's become a daily task for us.

Pros

I like that it handles everything that I need to run my company. From start to finish

Cons

This software program is very technincal and is fairly difficult to use on the small things. There should be a bigger help center and articles on how to do things and how to troubleshoot problems. However, the support team is very helpful. Also I wish on the service side of the app that it would show the time of when an appointment is scheduled even if it's an any time service. The sales side shows this so I don't understand why the service side can't as well.

### "A careless company"

This company has been in violation of its contract with me since the beginning of the contract. When I tried to resolve the issue, I was replied to for a while and then ghosted. This company lacks any regard for its customers and is simply here to gouge your pocket. There isn’t a single good quality about this company as a whole that I can think of. I wouldn’t even recommend this company to someone I despise. They seem to have the spirit of thief’s and cons. You won’t get what you paid for, yet they will continue to charge you for what they aren’t providing.

Pros

None. The only reason I’m writing this is because this cite is forcing me to write something in this box

Cons

This company ignores customers, misplaces information, acts as if they don’t know what’s going on, has a revolving door of employees, runs in circles (and runs you in circles as well) and somehow expects you to pay cancellation fees when you’re out of contract length.

Great, easy, and appreciate a good software more and more with everyday that we use it.

Pros

The training that the Fieldroutes community provides to make sure we fully understand the software. It took no more than 1 month to integrate from our previous software and be up and running. And even until today, I still have questions and Im learning more new features that make Fieldroutes that much more awesome!

Cons

I think what could be more helpful is to make certain features a part of the program, rather than having an extra charge to use it (i.g route optimization).

I wish there was someone that would've walked us through the set up. process ie contracts, trigger rules, permissions etc. There is so much to know and I feel like we are not getting the full potential of the software even at our current use.

Mobile app - I don't like that it forces the techs to use the cell number they are operating from to communicate with the customer. House Call Pro has a great system in place for this.

"I am a customer of fieldroutes for almost 5 years,the support necer work for me. for that reason, I decided to cancel my subscription, and since then, they have been ignoring me. Now they suddenly contact me and claim that I have to pay some cancellation fees. This is unfair, because the contract clearly states that “This agreement is for an initial 12-month period". I fulfilled that term long ago and there is no mention of any charges for terminating the service after that period.Do not sign anything, I think they are trying to trick you too."

### "One Simple Reason Not To Use This Software"

In 2017 they cared. They needed customers and they worked with you. In 2020 they seem to cater to their large customers, leaving the local companies to adapt to their will.

Pros

We used to like that the company appeared to be innovative and flexible. They use to let you use their software in a fashion that best suited your company.

Cons

One Simple Reason to Run From This Software: They make significant changes to their software with zero notification to their clients. This requires restructuring how you use their software, retraining your staff how to use their software, and then you need to spend time repairing the damage their change made to how you use their software. All of this; of course, after you discover the changes they made on your own... Days to weeks after they made the change.

I love how FieldRoutes allows me to manage each interaction with each of my customers from a centralized site/app. Customer communications are all very professional and visually appealing and lend credibility to my company.

Cons

While helpful, the mobile app could use further development. An integration with mobile pay or Apple pay would also be nice.

We are so pleased with the sales, training and use of the product. In terms of time and communication with customers it is a game changer. We have not had to manually sift through customer accounts and print monthly bills since we started.

Pros

Real time data; easy and efficient routing for service; ; digital forms and communication with customers is streamlined.

Cons

Three items are difficult: 1- Payments should be automated and not a manual run if set up for monthly payment 2-Renewals should auto renew if set up for annual renewal. Sending notices for renewal with customer acceptance should be one option and another option should be auto renewal 3- There needs to be an option (trigger rule) to set up a "sales drip" email campaign for lost leads.

Pros

This product is great in automating certain tasks, whether it's trigger rules or pre built routes. It helps save a lot of time that can then be focused elsewhere.

Cons

Customer support is sub-par. We have a pending issue that has been in the works for weeks now without an answer or even a follow up on where they're at with it. For the most part, if we don't know how to do something we've learned to just figure it out on our own because support is useless. The learning curve can be very difficult as well.

Have not had any issues, just questions when I am not sure about certain things. I was able to email and get a response, response was from implementation specialist not from help desk.

Pros

This product was very easy to learn overall not a bad product.

Cons

I think the invoicing and sending the alerts out to customers could use some work. I also would request that when an update is being done we are made aware of it instead of after it has already launched and then seeing the news button at the bottom light up about it weeks after it has already launched and we have to learn things on our own
