We could have used a better set up with our services, contracts, etc. I do not feel like we use FieldRoutes at an optimal level. We need an explanation on features at a level that we can understand.

### "Customer Support is Awful"

If they can work out the bugs and actually respond to customers then it would be well worth it. As it is, you will spend time not even being able to use some of the features, wondering when you will be able to use them properly again, with no timeline.

Pros

This product will definitely save time with your scheduling. They have a lot of great features including recurring service planning and automatic reminders.

Cons

There have been bugs that last about 2 weeks at a time 3 different times now, all different problems, and we have only been on this system for 2.5 months. These aren't small glitches either, they are major issues with the system that make parts of it unusable. Customer service is abysmal. They either don't respond or they can't give you any information or workarounds for the problem. The person who actually sold us the product is basically unreachable and never responds. You would think that the company would want to respond to customers when there are issues, but they don't seem to care at all. You get a different customer service rep each time you contact PestRoutes also, no dedicated reps. Extremely frustrating.

### "Much better than Serve Suite Pest Pack and all the other old software companies"

Pros

I have use pestpac then switched to serve suite and then to PestMate for 2 years (which I liked PestMate) but Pest Routes has been by far the best, navigation speed is much better than PestMate, Routing system is the best I've seen, Easy to train employees on and the reports are clean and one of my favorite parts is you can really run any data point from the customer section. If I want to know how many active accounts are ontime services I can generate a report giving what ever data I want; address, phone number, there last service, anything. Lets say I want to know how many of those customers have a card on file or were sold via Yelp so I can know if a source I'm paying to get customers from is bringing me a lot of onetime services I can know all that. Pricing is great too.

Cons

I wish it integrated my communication systems like emails and phone system. I've been told for a 6 months now the phone integration is coming but no word yet.

It has been great. Everyone is always willing to help and the response time is always timely.

Pros

It is easy to use even with high tech options

Cons

The app isn't as functional when trying to view or edit or search for customers. We are a pest service industry that does not have subscriptions. We visit a home only 2 times and then we never see them again (as long as we did our work well). It took a bit to figure out how we could make it most functional with our business model during set up.

### "Thoughts on FieldRoutes"

Even with a few headaches, FieldRoutes has been amazing at changing our business procedures for the better. We love how easily we are able to communicate with customers and the customer portal.

Pros

We like the user friendly interface of FieldRoutes. It is easy to navigate the system. We like that we can see a clear history of customer accounts and all the details given when scheduling customers.

Cons

We are not super happy with the reports that come out of FieldRoutes. There seems to be some inconsistencies even when you try to pull the same report twice. I like that there is a a lot of options to choose on what kind of report to pull, just want the info to be consistent.

### "Some things are great others need work"

It is easy to use on a daily basis. Reporting features are lacking and there seems to be a lot of bugs. When brought to the attention of support we get a lot of answers that have nothing to do with what our issue is (I feel because they really are not listening) and the "the team is looking into it". It can be very frustrating at times.

Pros

It is very user friendly and the receivables feature has made my job a lot easier.

Cons

Reporting features are lacking and there seem to be a lot of bugs.

### "Bait and Switch"

Pestroutes was a pretty big disappointment early on. Id just like for any prospective users to realize a few things that are not apparent until you have been using the software for a while. This will be a sort of stream of consciousness list. First of all make sure you ask about credit card processing. Thats a whole separate set of fees that they surprise you with. The graphing tool doesn't work. In fact the tool doesn't even track the stylus or pen or whatever you are using. Invoices will look crazy on mobile devices. When customers respond to me through email their invoices are lust thin strips of text one letter wide that go on for pages. Pestroutes tells me its normal and they can't fix it. My logo on invoices can also take up half a page. They told me that's my fault and I need to resize it. I did and it did NOT help. Their development team just doesn't get things right and that is apparent all through the system. The support staff is very nice and knowledgable but things don't really get fixed. Searching for an invoice number works about 90% of the time and is not a simple matter like it is on other systems. The contract templates are pretty dorky looking and you will need to hire someone (115 an horror so) so change them because of the graphical elements. The mobile app is really tedious and there are many annoying quirks that you will learn to work around. I could go on but I am out of room now.

Pros

Support staff is very nice. I can't say that here is usually much that they have been able to do for me because the problems are usually baked in to the software. They do try though.

Cons

Every feature is half baked. So much of the software seems unfinished.

the fact you prompted this review over the alert and task bar option so i had to complete it to do my job. If you want people to review you dont hinder their ability to work. Or at least let them opt out of it instead of a forced review hyperlink that blocks and restricts me from doing my actual job till the review is done. Kinda scummy

Scheduling of customers and the app that techs can see all their work. We can upload documents, so the paperwork can be seen by the customer and tech.

Cons

Only problem is we can't email the customer from the software. It seems to bounce back.

Pros

I find Fieldroutes to have a very user-friendly interface. I appreciate all of the customizable features to make Fieldroutes work for our business to the best of our capability. New hires seem to learn the system with ease. We appreciate all of the data compiled in an easy to read format and all of the available reports.

Cons

We struggle a bit with the contracts and have them set up differently. This costs us quite a bit to have them edited or changed. We may need to get with Fieldroutes to learn more and see if this is the most efficient way.

I've looked at several similar programs and FieldRoutes is by far the best out there.

Pros

FieldRoutes is easy to use, has great functionality, and is easy to integrate other programs with.

Cons

The only cons I've found in FieldRoutes is some of the reports and occasional issues with the mobile app not loading and having to be reinstalled on the device.

### "Unable to access program"

Frustrating.

Pros

Creating work orders is extremely easy. Mobile app is convenient for paperless services.

Cons

As I sit here and can not sign into serve suite I’d say that is a con. No answers from customer service. All my technicians and office staff are at a stand still. Customer service can not access my account. My technicians and myself can not see the schedules. Basically my whole company is at a stand still and we have no answers. We’ve had minor glitches in the past, but we are going on 24 hours with zero access. Needless to say, we will most likely receive some bad reviews today as we market our business on being on time.

### "User Friendly Interface with Great Customer Service"

Overall my experience with ServSuite has been great and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the pest control industry.

Pros

I've been using ServSuite for a little more than 2 years and it was my first experience with software designed specifically for pest control services. Because of the user friendly interface, I was able to learn how to navigate the system fairly quickly and what I couldn't find, customer service was right there to assist whether it was via email or phone. Whether I'm using the system to process the daily work, help a customer with a payment, or running reports for our company owner, ServSuite is a fast, secure, easy to use software for our business and I highly recommend it.

Cons

There are few cons to ServSuite, however, concerning the part of the program for drawing graphs on the wood infestation reports- it's limited in what it can do and I would rather use the Microsoft paint program and paste from there to the report. I also might would suggest a different formatting for the account private notes that includes "word wrap" so that if something is copied and pasted, it is all aligned correctly.

Pros

Vast capabilities and generally ease of use. We have a great tech team referred to as, Team5. We are assigned Team5 and work with them whenever we have issues with the software, technical info needed or general questions where to find a report, etc. Team5 have excellent follow through and communication with us. Sometimes issues have to sent to programming and they are vigilant to get back with us along the way till resolution. They are friendly and helpful.

Cons

Since the software has a vast ability, we aren't always up to speed on what would help us the most. I just came across an issue and part of the correction was to run a report monthly. We could have saved quite a bit of money if we would have been aware to process this report monthly for a few years now. I am disappointed that we thought the one step we were processing was all we needed to do, but that was not the case. That step does not communicate the final result and a report still needs to be done to handle the final communication piece. Again, that final step caused us to be over charged for a few years. They are working on a solution so when that one step is processed it is final, but not there yet and that does not help the past overcharges to us. We have been with ServSuite for over 13 years.

### "Good out of the box but…"

Pros

We were up and running in no time with all the help and advice we needed to get everything right the first time.

Cons

Though the invoicing is pretty straight forward it is sometimes difficult to see which customers have fallen behind in payments. Invoices don’t have past due amount so you are required to send a statement. Definitely not a deal breaker.

We are much more productive on Servsuite than we were with our past software. We are able to review and adjust our business based on the information available in reports from the system.

Pros

For day to day use it is easy to use. The Customer Service team does an excellent job responding timely almost every time they are contacted. The system is very dependable little to no down time as a result of a ServSuite issue.

Cons

If anything requires any sort of programmer to get involved the length of time is entirely to long and no updated are provided. Also, if one client reports an issue that would involve us all, Servsuite does not sent out any sort of bulletin to all their customers, this would be a great idea to assure as little damage as possible when a major issue takes place.

Outstanding customer support especially to new users as myself. Patience is one of the key factors in talking to support that I have noticed. Response is prompt and they are consistently keeping you in the loop when your problem cannot be solved right away. Pros

We have been using ServiSuite for approximately 2 years. We are a small family owned pest control company with advanced growth each year. Since coming on board with ServSuite it has enhanced communication, scheduling, reporting and organization for our business and customers. Honestly, there are too many positive features to mention in what this company has to offer. If they do not have a feature that is one size fits all they will improvise and compromise to make the system work for you if possible.

Cons

I cannot comment on what I like least about this software. I am not well versed enough to make such a comment. It has only helped our company.

Pros

In comparison with other CRMs, FieldRoutes is the easiest tool to use and train on.

Cons

The routing/scheduling needs to be tied to actual roads and drive time, not as the bird flies. Many of the reports aren't clear. You can get different answers for what seems to be the similar or the same reports.

### "After Several Years of Use, We’re Switching"

Pros

We’ve enjoyed managing all of our pest control customers using Pestroutes for years. They’ve been good at keeping things organized.

Cons

Reporting numbers through pestroutes is horrific. Managing profiles for different areas messed up our numbers for the year, and now Pestroutes is calling us out on “fudging our numbers.” Each of our managers has multiple profiles so they can sell in multiple markets, and many of our salesman have multiple seller profiles so they can sell in Utah as well as other places. But Pestroutes says we have one salesman for every profile, which screws up our sales averages for the year.
