It is easy to collaborate with colleagues and export the maps to add in reports. Pros The software is easy to use and does everything it needs to do with minimum fuss. Normally there are lots of issues with web browser software but this works very well. With very little effort you can create process flow map and make it look professional. Cons No issues. It does everything I want it to do. Only scratched the surface of the available functions. It was of a great help for my research proposal planning and presentation and explaining each and every step to the examining panel. Pros The ease to use the app is what is most attractive alongwith . It gave the freedom to virtually represent my plans for experiments and processes in a the exact way I wanted to represent. Also the ease to integrate it with other applications is a big plus point. Lucidchart cuts down our process development time significantly. Pros The ability to log in using a third party account (G Suite in this case), and quickly and easily create and share workflows, process flows, and diagrams with colleagues in real time is a game changer. We could not do our jobs without Lucidchart. Cons There are a number of templates you can start with, but few of them are what I would consider visually appealing, or based on real world use cases. There is so much available in terms of color and variation of shapes and styles of diagrams. Best product I have ever worked it. Pros I love LucidChart! I can either create a diagram from scratch or use one of the preset templates. The preset templates are easy to start with and give an idea of visualization for the user. Cons Sometimes some extra text will appear for now reason, but you can delete it. Also, the last person to use the file gets their name auto added to the file making it look like they were the creator of the file. It offers Numerous templates and varieties of Diagrams so it is a versatile tool . I use the online version of the tool, never really felt the need to Install the program . So, this can be used from any device having an Internet Connection. Cons The only issue that I face with Lucid Charts is Connectivity to Internet. Cons I did not like that data visualization is somewhat hard to show because the manipulation of data is not easy to do in Lucidchart. I was able to make complex flow charts on my first time using the software. Pros Lucidchart is a far superior product to the more traditional flowchart software Visio. The simple layout, easy sharing and the ability to build complex flow charts make Lucidchart the best out there. Additionally, I find the templates for other projects, that are not flow chart related, very useful. Cons My only issue with Lucid is that, at certain points, where the details of lines and boxes can get very cluttered, I find it hard to navigate the layers and often end up dragging out boxes and lines that I do not wish to, even though they are not selected originally. This is very rarely an issue and it just takes a few minutes to fix, but it is an issue. Pros It’s so easy to use; pretty much every feature you can think of is built into the platform. Can’t draw? Just drag and drop! Need something branded? Just upload it! From flows to mock-ups, it’s loaded with functionality. Cons Zooming and moving without messing up your canvas is a little tricky. Also, wish there were more presentation modes and the folders are a little monotonous. Tags simplify finding your work, but there’s so much room for improvement around the discovery of shared content. Cons On the one hand, the constant sync issues in the org chart remain rather despiriting, not to mention the limitations of the chart itself (e.g., it is still not possible to assign multiple teams to an employee without compromising one or more of the view options).On the other hand, the intuitive aspect of the handling of diagram tools and elements could be much improved.That said, Lucidchart is alive and well, getting regular updates and being responsive in the customer service department. Despite the sometimes nerve wrecking glitches, it remains an okay software - you just sometimes need to take a deep breath or two before plunging in. July 13, 2018 5.0 Pros Lucidchart is easy to learn and is an intuitive diagramming tool.It is cloud based and this has allowed me to be able to use Lucidchart for my user experience diagrams. It works with Google drive , allowing me to save my diagrams in the cloud for future use. The templates made available for flowcharts have come on very handy for me. Cons I will like to be able to share my diagrams with colleagues who aren't users of the Lucidchart tool. At the moment , I have to export my diagrams in pdf,jpeg,png or other non-editable formats.
