It has all the things required for basic modeling. Th fact that it can be saved into other file formats and can be opened in other applications makes it usable. The other use of is quickly drawing up mindmaps which are more of drag and drop kind. One can find a lot of use in doing simpler project and system designs. But price-wise, it is cheap and value for money. Cons As an extensive Visio user, I find Lucid chart a bit immature in terms of product features. There are not much stencil options available except for basic shapes. So if you are dealing with boxes and circles only, probably this is a good tool. But if you are designing something more complex as system design for the cloud, you may want to use Visio. Review Source EA EMILY A. I would use it again and it is way easier to use than Numbers or keynote. Pros What I like most about this software is that its fairly easy to use and it does have some pretty nice tools to create a unique project. Cons What I like least about Lucid chart is that you create a project or presentation and then when you try to keep going it wont let you have any more text boxes unless you pay. I understand that they need to make money but its frustrating that I didn't know until I put so much work into it. Pros I was introduced to it by one of my vendors when they were designing our process flows. I got my own license to do the exercise on all aspects of our company. It is easy to use. The well thought through, super smooth interface has made documentation a joy (words I thought I'd never say) and has made me a LucidChart evangelist for my team. Pros So simple to use. Layouts automatically re-adjust themselves to your diagram which allows you to focus on your diagram rather than fitting it neatly on one page! It's intuitive, powerful, and clean. No complaints whatsoever. Pros strikes a great balance for a functional and beautiful GUI, like an old Office suite with rounded edges. I use it to create flow charts for customer-facing documentation where some visual help is required, and this does the job. I especially love how exporting automatically crops out the empty space with a reasonable margin. The software is very straightforward and it is very easy to collaborate with people due to it's cloud based nature. Cons It's user interface does lag behind some desktop based system in terms of useability. I also found that the library of icons could be expanded.
