Pros I love the user friendly platform, and all of the features that come along with it. The prices are comparable to other platforms as well. Cons I can't think of anything that i dislike about Shippo. Very happy to have found this company. Pros I love that all carriers are included and that I can connect my carrier accounts to Shippo. I love that it integrates to both my Etsy shop and Shopify shop. Cons I find the screens a little confusing compared to using Pirate Ship, but Pirate Ship is only for USPS so Shippo is the best product I have seen that covers all the carriers. When I go to the integration list of orders I think the default would be best for outstanding orders only, not a mix of orders already shipped and outstanding orders. Reason for choosing Shippo Shippo has all the carriers. I can print and put my packages right in my mailbox for pickup. Not leaving my house to go to the post office has been HUGE! Especially with a toddler! Also, when I signed up for Shippo I had some issues with them confirming my identity. It seemed like there were many hoops to jump through to get started, but the Shippo team was super helpful and got me up and running. Cons I honestly didn’t find signing up very easy and user friendly. I did have to call customer service a couple times to get things rolling. I had difficulty opening the emailed links to continue my enrollment and confirm my identity and company. I wanted to be able to use it right away, but I couldn’t and that was frustrating. Pros Shippo makes it easy to ship packages at a fair rate that is much lower than going direct to UPS. I only use it occasionally, but I am impressed each time how easy it is to use. Pros We love the flexibility Shippo offers us for fulfilling orders, for a very fair price. Cons Really no complaints! I had issues linking it to Stripe at the start, but I think that was more of a Stripe issue and it was Shippo's customer service that helped us get it sorted. Saves money and time. Pros Allows you to print shipping labels from the computer and charges you on the spot. It is cheaper than actually going to for example Canada Post and getting a shipping label directly from them. I have used shippo a few times now and would recommend the service. Saves money and time. Cons Once I created a shipping label by mistake. It was my first time using the service and I was a little confused. I was unable to get a refund for the accidental shipping label I printed. I had been manually filling out shipping forms on the USPS website before I started using Shippo. Now all of my order information is integrated into the Shippo platform and my shipping forms are auto-populated. Great service and great shipping rates too. Cons The website can be glitchy once in a while. Shippo is very necessary considering I dont have to worry about standing by those that may have covid-19 in the post office. I can print shippo and drop it in the bin. Pros Shippo is very convenient, just weigh the item, enter dimensions, Shippo will generate a price. This option is very convenient as other carriers only offer a flat rate. We did a virtual pledge drive and needed to ship rewards across the US. Shippo was so easy to use that it actually made us excited to build on online store and manage more orders online. We just bought a thermal label printer to start prepping for doing more online orders. Cons None so far. Maybe have more training videos for implantation? But seriously very easy to use.
