### "Shippo: NO INSURANCE ON INTERNAL DAMAGE"

I shipped a few dozen packages with and although the price was low as soon as I had a claim with Disc Drives that filed during shipping I discovered the Insurance exception that they will not pay for any damage claim unless the damage is visible externally. this means it would be unwise to send any of the following using Shippo: Computers, Computer Monitors Printers Disk Drives TVs Speakers Amplifiers Receivers Cell Phones Watches Headphones Kitchen Appliances Drones Electric Fans Window Air Conditioners Quite a list, don't you think and much of what I send would be on this list so I can no longer use Shippo since any internal damage would not be covered.

To clarify, our policy includes an exclusion for electrical and/or mechanical derangement. This means that damages to internal components that do not show external damage are not covered. We do understand the inconvenience this may cause, but want to share that this exclusion is a standard practice in the industry to prevent claims on pre-existing damages. As such, this type of coverage is commonly excluded across most shipping insurance providers. While a lot of the items you listed-- like disk drives, laptops, LCDs, and TVs--are not covered for damage, they are still covered for loss or theft. Their carrier negotiated rates are the best we've found. The API works well and makes it easy to compare rates and ship internationally. Support is generally pretty good

Cons

The web portal is much worse than Shipstations. They also do a bad job of associating orders with shipments and viewing things you do via the API in the web portal.

Was great until they changed and limited the free service. Now I use less intuitive and speedy services for most of my shipping.

Pros

Excellent interface. Good customer service when I did have issues.

Cons

It was free for unlimited labels (extra features did cost more but I only needed the basics) and then they switched to only 30 per month for the free service. I still use those 30, but then switch to other clients for the rest of the month. I hope this changes back.

Reason for choosing Shippo

I do use other products simultaneously with . It is not ideal. Shippo was my favorite until they limited free accounts to 30 labels which is less than I need, but not enough that I am willing to pay when other options are still free.

Pros

is very affordable and easy to use. Their customer service is eager to help out if there are any website problems or syncing problems and can be reached at any time. We have never had a problem using this software.

Cons

There are virtually no problems with this company or its software. We have used them for about 2 years and we will continue to use them if their pricing stays affordable.

continues to impress us as the best, most cost-saving and time-saving shipping solution four our small business. The seamless integrations with our various marketplaces, easy to learn user interface, and responsive customer service make Shippo the small business solution we recommend most when speaking with colleagues and new friends at industry conferences.

Pros

The best part of this software is the ability to integrate with multiple marketplaces where our products are sold. This creates a "one stop shop" where we can manage, track, and ship orders that have come in from several sources. The integration is a two-way connection, so that once an order is shipped, it shows as shipped with tracking information in our various marketplace apps and websites. This saves an incredible amount of time so that we can focus our attention on creating great products.

Cons

There have been a couple of days when the site was down or experiencing issues when we came to our scheduled time for packing and shipping. Obviously, this throws a minor wrench in our daily schedule, but we understand that these things happen. The responsiveness of the team is excellent. I all of these cases, once the problem was identified, we received notification that work was in progress and that we would be told when the site was ready to process orders. The subsequent notification that the site was ready to go saved us from having to go back periodically and check. This valuable customer service saves us time and is greatly appreciated.

Reason for choosing Shippo

Initially, was the least expensive solution. That is the sole reason we signed up. We were gratified to learn later that Shippo is also the best solution on multiple fronts.

I've not had any issues with at all. I only use USPS for shipping so I can only comment on that and it's certainly sped up the process as well as eliminated a lot of the frustration. I love that I can set up pre-sets (package type/weight) to make the process even easier. A huge benefit is that it's helped me SAVE money. Because I'm able to ship small packages first class, very small orders have become cheaper to ship which has benefitted my clients and my business.

Pros

I found during the early days of the pandemic when I was making and shipping masks every day. I've made over 2000 masks and counting by myself and most orders were small, so the amount of packages went from a typical 2-3 packages per week to 20. I just didn't have time to type in each order on the USPS website and Shippo was a life saver. I was able to integrate/import my orders from various platforms including Etsy, Square Marketplace, and Airtable (using 3rd party automation at times) to make shipping a matter of a few clicks. Now my biggest shipping concern is whether or not my printer is going to cooperate each day.

Cons

It would be great if there were easier integration setups with more platforms, but really once it's set up, it takes almost no effort. This can be a bit tricky for folks who aren't tech savvy. I'm a one person operation, so whether I'm good at doing things or not doesn't really matter since I'll be the one doing them regardless. I was able to fumble my way through it and the ease of that really depended on which third party app I was using. If you're good with API or very familiar with setting up automation through Zapier, Integromat, Automate.io, etc then you will likely not struggle much.

was recommended to me by a friend and I reached out and grabbed it like the lifeline I needed. If you feel like you're drowning under your shipping process, give Shippo a try.

It has saved me $1-2 per package, which over time adds up. The integration with my host/processor was extremely simple and flawless.

Pros

The ease of integration with my hosting/processing company was exceptional. The shipping rates are lower than many other alternatives.

Cons

I wish it were easier to create a new one-off order entry from within or to obtain rates without having to create a new entry and then hide it afterwards since it can't be deleted. There really needs to be an easier way to reprint a label after the initial pop-up is gone.

We have had a great experience with so far. It makes online fulfillment possible for our small non-profit.

Pros

The software is easy to use, automatically integrates with our Square online store, and saves time not having to wait in line at the post office. The fact that the program itself is free to use is amazing, as well.

Cons

We use a Word doc with Avery labels for our shipping labels. It would be great if we could create a custom label template to work with this set up. Currently, we just edit the size of the PDF that is downloaded.

We initially chose when we started our online store through Square because we wanted the lowest start up cost for our cost for our online store when it launched. Approx. 8 months later, although we can upgrade Square to include label printing, now that we have used Shippo, we will probably stick with this integration because of the ease of use and affordability.

Its Friendly, Cheap, very easy to use and I think its the best for every business out there. Also All orders are in one spot. You can easily track, monitor or modify orders or tracking details

Easy to use. Anyone can basically key in customer info to creating a return label and even choosing the available shipping rates. What I also love is that, it is prepare service too. I am not too sure on this, but I get charges after my orders have been delivered to my customers

I am very happy overall with as I have used it for several years and it has saved me a lot of time and energy.

The best thing about is I can quickly and easily print and fulfill a lot of orders at once with minimal effort.

Cons

Once my post office rejected a label because it didn't have a second barcode on it for a Priority Express shipment. said their label was correct and didn't need revising. However my post office won't accept these labels. I'm sure it is just a stickler for the rules at my local post office but I wish Shippo had been able to change the labels for me so I could continue to use them. I now have to use the USPS website for Priority Express due to this issue.

I love period and point blank!

Pros

is extremely easy to use! It has been a game changer for my business, literally no taping labels to boxes anymore, no waiting to track orders, no having to personally communicate with customers about their order, no having to translate from my business to shippo and orders, Shippo does all of that!

Cons

The only con is that I wish there was a delete and a hide button instead of just a hide button, because I don’t want to have to look at orders that were picked up/dropped off, that will never get shipped. I want to be able to delete. Definitely not a deal breaker though, it’s an OCD thing.

Pros

I can print shipping labels easily, and they have a good discount on most carriers. The software is easy to understand and use, and we transitioned seamlessly from our old provider.

Cons

When you try to send a tracking email, it drops the ball. It does not let me look at the email to be sent or verify the email address, and simply flashes an "email sent" screen. It does this even if the recipient does not have a known email address. Sine we have low shipping volume, I simply send the emails myself.

### "Customer Service Problems!"

Customer service is not capable of handling basic problems. "accidentally" reused a USPS tracking number too soon. So old data was still present on the current label. It's been 4 days and they haven't been able to do anything at all. They haven't offered a refund, to assist with insurance. It's clear they don't know what to do. They actually said at one point, "we're not responsible" even though tracking was purchased and issued through them. My emails don't get a response, live chat just says "we've asked USPS" and nothing moves forward. Sometimes live chat is available. Sometimes it's not. It's not based on days of the week or times of day. It's just random. Also, yes they do have hidden surcharges with every carrier and no they won't help you dispute them. They just said "the dispute was sided with the carrier" but any other shipping software allows you to provide detailed information and with every other shipping software they side with the shipper.

Pros

Unfortunately I don't have anything positive to say about this software.

Cons

Customer service is difficult to reach and not knowledgeable.

Overall, a very user-friendly and simple shipping application.

Pros

This product was super easy to learn and implement! Everything is broken down in a user-friendly fashion. There are separate locations for orders run through and orders proceed through a different application making it easy to navigate and search. Tracking numbers are displayed with a clickable link so no need to hit extra buttons just to find what you are looking for.

Cons

The search function can be a little difficult. If you are looking for a particular say first and last name. The search will bring up every order that has something similar. EX. Looking for a Sally Miller, all orders with the name Sally will come up, even if the last name was searched.

I use it for multiple businesses and have recommended it over rivals for ease of use and a simplistic layout. I am learning more each year. I run two different e-commerce platforms and I have the ability to choose which I want to ship from. I mostly use if the volume is over 3-4 packages to ease the burden at the local post office. To my delight, shippo has never seemed to go offline at least while i'm using it

Integrations with 3rd party e-commerce platform to sync labels Commercial Rates for USPS The ability to print multi shipment manifests Label purchases are billed once a week Ease with reprinting a label that did not print correctly or creating another label going to the same place 5c plus per label charge on top of the commercial rate

Cons

No real cons, sometimes you are paying a few cents more than another commercial carrier for USPS but I cannot seem to figure out how its calculated. I wish it there was a mobile app just for tracking shipments outgoing. I have had a few issues with international addresses not being recognized but a quick google search resolves the isue.

Pros

I like that I can pay per use with . I have a small online business so I don't have a ton of orders in one day as it varies. Pricing is inexpensive which is a plus for me. Everything is one place and can enter new orders manually too.

Cons

My only problem is sell on several selling venues including my website which currently does not support so orders have to entered manually. This slows you down a little but still prefer to use Shippo than with the "other" shipping platforms that I have tried. I hope some day soon that Shippo will be integrated with my website to make things a whole easier.

If you head over to your Analytics page, you can view your total spend within a specified timeframe. If you'd like files to save for your records, you can go to your Billing page and view/download all of your invoices. Using the Export Transactions button in your Transactions Page, you will be able to get a downloadable and editable CSV file, which allows you to sort and search by invoice number, date, carrier, etc. If you were referring to running total as the amount you'll be charged once you get to your next invoice, you can go to your Billing page and click 'View All' transactions to see the current charges that are going to be included in your next invoice. You can click the invoice number under "Invoice" to see the current, pending invoice which gets updated with each purchase, until it closes and you get charged. We hope this helps! ### "Perfect solution for a small business owner"

I love the ability to see all the shipping options available to me so that I can easily pick the right product. This is particularly helpful when considering the different ways to use USPS Priority Mail. I am confident that I always am able to easily select the most cost effective shipping option for my product and destination. 's customer service is also outstanding. Because of a training issue at our local post office, my company was assessed a number of label surcharges by the USPS due to a USPS postal clerk putting multiple items on the scale at one time. Shippo handled the situation by filing disputes on my behalf saving me a lot of time.

Pros

I love that both my website sales and my Etsy shop sales can flow into so that order management and shipping label purchases can be done from one platform.

Cons

I love it! It just is so much easier than other platforms I've used. There isn't anything I'd change.

I know of other places that offer mailing but they are more geared for large to small companies not individuals. Also I like that the pricing for all the carriers are in one place.
