It allowed us to automate data processing tasks that were previously manual, saving both time and resources. Pros Skyvia provides a very intuitive interface and powerful ETL capabilities. The technical team responded immediately, kept us informed, and quickly resolved the issue. Skyvia offers excellent service and reliability. Their representatives, Darina and Dmitry, are a pleasure to work with—very responsive by email and easy to schedule for longer calls. Pros We chose Skyvia over five similar services during a one-month evaluation in 2022. Its ease of use, wide range of data connectors, and flexible subscription options make data integration stress-free. Most of the process is no-code, but Skyvia also supports more complex integrations through its SQL setup. Data transfer speeds are excellent, and we can monitor progress in real time. Cons The only improvement we'd like to see is adding their notification system to each connector. They currently offer helpful notifications to prevent exceeding subscription limits, but when issues occur, we usually notice them first at the connector level rather than the subscription level. Setting up our backups were painless, and I was pleased to see that they had various other options that we could utilize if we needed to expand to other services down the road. Moreover, I must also commend their Support Services. They were quick to respond and did not hesitate to customize a solution for me when the need arose. To give an idea, in about 2 hours of learning about Skyvia for the first time i was able put together a proof of concept solution to see if Skyvia would work for our needs and all that on their free tier. We used a partner to help, but could easily have learned how to use it and set it up without help. We were just operating on a very tight timeline and decided that buying the expertise would help us achieve our goal. We set up an integration between our Salesforce org and a custom-built on-premise database that is used every day. The integration runs three times per day, on a schedule, and that works wonderfully for us. I only contacted their support team once, so not much of a sample but my experience with the support team was very favorable. They responded quickly and resolved my issue satisfactorily. I have a very specific purpose for using Skyvia, so the number of features in the system is not that significant to me. However I am impressed by the number of connectors they have available. Cons I don't have much to say about what I dislike. I'm very satisfied with the system. Perhaps the only issue would be the amount of record transfers that are included in the base price of the various product tiers. I understand the need to have flexible pricing, but perhaps the base packages could be expanded to include a larger amount of record transfers before the overage charge occurs. We have selected Skyvia backup our SF data since the backup is done in a visual form, so our administrators can do it without calling IT team. But, they don't have to do it very often, as we managed to set up automated backups with Skyvia. Cons When we started using Skyvia Backup, we didn't receive any notifications about the free space available for backup storage, and we didn't know that the latest backups were deleted when there was a lack of space. The first beta setup took 10 minutes, which is a win-win strategy for us. Setting up the integration with APIs would have taken much more time and specialists involved. Analysts don’t have to use any third-party integration tools for bringing data to Power BI. They just use already preconfigured OData feed for HubSpot and extract all the necessary objects for reporting and analysis, when needed. Cons Skyvia allows only 1 endpoint under the free plan, which isn’t a problem or a drawback in reality. It's vital for the sales department and for company growth in general. So, to prevent loss of information we need to have an opportunity to backup and restore information that can be deleted by mistake. Skyvia allows us to control the backups of major cloud apps from one place, it's very convenient and safely. Pros I'm completely satisfied that I can restore my data from web browser. No more installed software! Cons It can be quite expensive if you need to back up a lot of data as in Skyvia Backup you need to pay for used storage space. Also being able to populate fields across many objects at the same time and then load the changes. That's great in comparison to a tool like Data Loader for example where you cannot load to multiple objects. Cons Because we use Salesforce with Causeview a transaction has 3-4 objects (Transaction, Allocation, Payment and Soft Credit). We sometimes have difficulty uploading the payments and allocations when linked together. So for each load we need an additional step for linking those 2 objects together. As Skyvia populates the fields of different objects at the same time, and sometimes this produces errors.
