July 31, 2026 5.0 It is an ideal application for our small team and has paid off. It's not ideal, especially when it comes to some bugs and irrelevant features for HR, but it has made inventory management easier for us. Security features are a good thing for me to feel good about and I think that it's great value for the price. Nothing is perfect, but it works for us. Pros As a small HR-led business, Zoho Inventory has proved to be a reliable tool for tracking the office supplies and equipment, particularly for running a business efficiently. The reporting feature is very extensive and customisable enough to identify trends and it also seamlessly connects to other ZOHO applications we have already implemented. The control it gives for order processing is also appreciated. It has helped us not to order too much; it has decreased our wastage in general. Cons The learning curve was a bit more than I thought, particularly as inventory isn't the main part of our business. I had to play around a bit to get it set up the way that we wanted. There are times when bulk uploads can have some glitches, and sometimes the shipping module appears to be more geared for physical goods businesses, which requires us to bypass certain features that aren't necessary to our business. I also liked the automation features for order processing and stock updates since they help reduce manual work. Cons There is a little issue when needing to update inventory levels it will not keep track on the dates and time if it was increased or decreased from what it was previously to ensure that their are no issues or to detect were the issue started from. Pros What attracted me to Zoho was the seemingly user-friendly interface, which lended to jumping around from customer profiles, financials, to products, orders, etc quite fluidly. It lets you have multiple currency price lists which is HARD TO FIND. I liked the possibility to easily upgrade to other Zoho products like the CRM. Cons Every other feature that was important to my setup was only partially available, or had major limitations leaving the "features" useless. Woocommerce integration is shown as available through a third party - but that plugin is both expensive and DOES NOT WORK. Shopify connection ONLY GOES ONE WAY (shopify to zoho, NO INVENTORY SYNCING!!) The Sales Order/Shipping/Invoicing system is unnecessarily messy and very hard to truly automate, due to lack of connections. Pros Zoho is really easy to use and affordable, especially for a small business. I like that it creates your own invoices that you can send to customers. I like that you can keep track of multiple warehouses on one page. These are small features that make Zoho really great. Cons The software is easy to use but still has some features that I would love to see changed. We run a small eBay business and there is often difficulty in merging products. I cannot go back and fix this later on. Sometimes this will make the inventory numbers look different than what they are. This is also part of a human error, but I wish there was a feature on Zoho that would help me reconcile inventory when I make a mistake with merging products. Reason for choosing Zoho Inventory We chose Zoho because it was affordable, had all of the features we wanted, and was easy to use. Pros We love the integration and module aspects. The modules all fit together allowing full integration. With this comes the ease of stock control and order management both online and offline. No complicated app integrations or stock drift. it just works. Cons Search facility has an issue you can not always locate an item just by keyword and have to enter the full name. We previously used multiple platforms and nothing synced. We now have perfect inventory management and don't risk losing stock or overselling items. Cons I would like more payment processor options that could be integrated with the invoice feature. Stripe suspended our account because of a surge of transactions and refunded half of the orders. Stripe is also holding 5 figures of funds that it did not refund. We broke none of its TOS. Adding better processors would be very nice. It would also be extremely helpful to have bulk image upload supported in the inventory import feature. We deal with thousands of items in our inventory and cannot manually add pictures for each one. It also connects to Paypal, which makes our money transactions easier to handle, limiting our stress. Using this software, we were able to keep a very accurate inventory while selling across multiple online platforms. It is worth the cost because this helps prevent any inventory shortages and lost orders because of a lack of inventory Cons The original setup was a very lengthy, which there were multiple confusing parts. There could also be a few more reports that come standard, we needed to make multiple custom reports, which also took lots of time and man power.
