Very good when it succeeds with the task but a little frustrating when it doesn't, albeit I don't blame the program as much as websites making it increasingly difficult. Support has been excellent in helping with my lack of I.T. skills.

Pros

I have gotten phenomenal customer service from WebHarvy. As a real novice in terms of understanding web sites and coding. The software is very easy to use, but I have had several times when I was challenged by a site and they have provided prompt detailed explanations on how to proceed.

Cons

Sometimes you do need to write little lines of code, href. Not too difficult if you need what they have in the examples in their support page, but can be confusing for the non-coder. Again, I have gotten a lot of help from support on this.

Reason for choosing WebHarvy

The lists I got were of poor quality and not specific enough.

Once installed it worked immediately, thanks also to the really many examples available with videos.

Pros

The customer support is simply amazing. The software is easy to use, but some pages may be difficult to scrap, as they are built to make scraping difficult. A short message to the support team solved the problems in a few minutes. They come out with the solution in really a short time

Cons

In one case the page was so difficult to scrap I had to record videos of my attempts, to show them to the support team. But in the end they found a solution. So, I would say, no real defect and very good value for money

It's a fine product and I don't mind to continue using it

Pros

The product is very suitable for beginners who don't know how to code. They have great customer support to guide you with effective operations of the software

Cons

The software does make mistakes from time to time, e.g. some data are not captured along the way, mispositioning of data units, and the software stops running on its own, which could be frustrating at times especially when you have to start all over again due to the limitations of some websites

it did make me feel good to be able to submit a ticket.

Cons

once I created a support request I was unable to login to the portal to see the comments/questions that the support team needed from or for me to resolve the problem. I do not have a login username or password to see the support comments.

I used webharvy for 1 year, and it was of crucial help for my PhD thesis. The scraping potential, ease of use, and support were spectacular. Initially, I tested other software, but the one that had the most access and data collection was the webharvy. I am very satisfied with the software.

Ease of use, scraping potential (really, incredible - if there's anything on the internet, webharvy collects it!

Cons

The speed of scraping - unfortunately, the software spent all night to collect some data!

Pros

User friendly. Excellent customer support. Specially, Virat, always helps me when I come out with any doubt.

Cons

Speed. Scrapping should be fast. Recently I tried to scrape a simple data (around 20,000 observation, with 10 variables) it took me 48 hours to do that. I kept my laptop continuously on for 48 hours. speed of the software has to be improved.

I hace tried several free and paid options for web data scraping until I found webharvy. I search no more.

Pros

It's Easy to use and to understand. Very intuitiva. You justo Select what you need visually AND press start

Cons

Maybe sometimes I feel it's slow. It takes its Time but it does its job. Would be great if it had conditional options.

Excellent support! especially for what they charge for a license. Highly recommended as a first stop if you are looking for screen scraping software.

Cons

There are some subtleties to extracting out all of the information from a directory list on many sites, and it seems to require some tinkering to get it right.
