Excellent Tool for communication our Hotel been the Director of Housekeeping at this Hotel for 7 years. The only other app I used before is ServicePro and I like HelloShift much better.

Pros

Worked at many Hotels and found HelloShift very user friendly for all departments in the Hotel. We are able to put in on our phones and tablets and all the Housekeeping and Maintenance use it daily. This is a great help for guest requests & maintenance issues . The Front desk puts in late checkouts, early checkouts and guest that needs service next.

Cons

I wish you can talk into the microphone of your phone instead of typing in the request. We also get have a problem when putting in Lost & Found #Lost&found it #Lost &Lamps for some reason

Poor customer service, not a lot to offer in terms of settings and customer messaging. I felt pressured to sign a contract with them which I didn't like.

Pros

Ease if use. Very nice interface. Good communication & management tool if you have staff.

Cons

Customer service, not much to offer in terms of functionality compared to competitors, additional charges for text messages.

Pros

Ability to message guests, log maintenance tasks and monitor to-do lists makes this software handy and useful. Templates are created to message guests pre and post visits. It also creates a database of guests by so doing.

Cons

Notification alerts can be made more audible and attracting as sometimes, i don't get to know when there is need to respond to a message.

This software makes communications between the Desk staff & Management quick and efficient, while also allowing things to be marked off as done so that nothing gets forgotten. Also good for reminders on future issues and orders.

IVE NEVER HEARD OF HELLOSHIFT UNTIL I STATED WORKING FOR MY HOTEL, AND I LOVE IT. THERE ARE MANY GREAT THINGS ABOUT IT BUT THE BEST THING IS THE ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE BETWEEN STAFF, MANAGEMENT, AND OUR GUESTS. 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND FOR ANY BUSINESS WHO WANT TO GET AWAY FROM BORING EMAILS.

EASY TO USE, NOT TOO MUCH IN YOUR FACE, GUESTS LOVE IT, AND SO DOES OUR TEAM.

NOT MANY CONS, I WOULD SAY THAT SOEMTIMES STARING AT THE HOME PAGE CAN BE A BIT DULL

The ability to communicate with our guests before their arrival allows the front desk to personalize each guest stay. I also enjoy how quickly questions, requests & issues can be addressed.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind - a lot of updates have come in to place to make this software very compatible with all users.

Pros

The team to guest texting ability has been a huge hit. Tasks and notes for in-house tickets work well.

Cons

The phone app could use a few update and tweaks. I.e, when completing tasks in a checklist - when you check off a box it brings you all the way to the top.
