Overall, I do not recommend this program if you are a DIY event planner. I rely on being paid efficiently, reliably and promptly. If you rely on ticket money to support your event expenses, this platform is not a great fit.

Pros

The fees are great compared to other programs and the site is easy to build. I really appreciate how user friendly that part is.

Cons

The customer service. There was inadequate support when I didn't receive a payment. I chatted someone at 8am for support with a topic and at 2:21 that day, they still hadn't resolved the issue. They told me it should be resolved "later today or tomorrow" which is just unacceptable.

We have enjoyed working with TicketSpice and happy that we switched over…just wish we would’ve done it sooner.

Pros

The ease of transactions and the customer support. When tickets are bought in groups (as they generally are with families) you can select the number of attendees present at check in. If someone wasn’t able to come, their ticket remains valid for use during the season.

Cons

At times, tickets just purchased don’t show up to be scanned in. The membership vs passes can be confusing

We were shocked to discover that we were charged $600 in processing fees by TicketSpice. As a non-profit organization, this unexpected cost significantly impacts our budget. We are extremely dissatisfied with this experience and will be reconsidering our future use of their services.

Pros

We originally did like the system for ticket purchasing and managing ticket sales.

Cons

What I liked least about TicketSpice was the unexpectedly high processing fees we incurred. As a non-profit organization, these fees significantly impacted our budget and were not clearly communicated upfront. This experience has made us reconsider using their services in the future.

Overall, I've had a good ticketing experience with TicketSpice. The software is very user friendly and the customer service is relatively quick and very helpful. I do prefer to use it more for events that we are preselling tickets rather than onsite ticket sales, but I've managed both successfully through this platform.

Pros

Ticketspice looks super sleek on the front end and has a lot of design options. I love the variety of ticketing options, and once you learn the software, it is super user friendly on the backend. There are a ton of customizable features that help make your event ticketing process a success.

Cons

The reporting isn't the best. While it's nice to be able to customize some reports, the system is missing a lot of basic options that most other softwares have. I often feel like I'm having to do a ton of searching and manipulating to locate basic fields.

From the moment I set it up, I felt like I could do it thanks to the support team. I am not ‘technically inclined’ at all, but was able to navigate setting up my event through Ticketspice with zero issues from beginning to end. Thank you Ticketspice!

I used TicketSpice for a charity event and had an amazing experience. Purchasing tickets, tracking payments, adding donations, refunding tickets, and checking people in on the day of the event were all straightforward and intuitive.

Pros

TicketSpice had a great product that was easy to use, had a very reasonable processing fee, and had excellent support, both documented and direct support staff.

Cons

None. I compared TicketSpice against many of the other popular ticketing companies and they offered the best rates without any loss of functionality or support.
