That combined with the ease of use is a big deal not having to train people on things which saves time, which makes me more money. Pros I have the ability to bring all of my projects information and needs into one place and track it easy. It is easy to create tasks and use with my co workers. Being able to track the financial aspects of the project is huge, and not seen as nicely done in other projects. Cons The organization of the product is not as good as it could be. I quickly realized life is complex anyway, and you need to be on top of all those matters to keep your business running. It took us a little while to get used to it, but we stopped the craziness of having files all over the place and never knowing what was really going on. It has made us more efficient and has allowed us to give a better response to clients when they request information about their present or past projects. Pros Having all the information in one place. Not only for ease of access to information, but to have only one access for our new staff, and when they leave, have only one door to lock. Cons The interface is nice, well designed and graphic. I can tell it still needs more time to develop and fix a few odd stuff. Review Source FU Frank U. Architect Architecture & Planning Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Bait and Switch" November 13, 2018 2.0 Mostly negative overall experience. If they were actively fixing problems or developing the features that it promises in product literature (but doesn't actually deliver), I'd see some glimmer of hope. But, it's near radio silence on Frank's end and has been for almost a year now. Pros The promises of functionality sound great. Cons It's nearly completely broken as platform. There is no ongoing development of a product that's only half baked. Of the features that actually have some functionality most require workarounds to see some sense of use. As far as I can tell, this SaaS is a mass marketing email scam that preys on the foolish company decision makers who take spam email advertisements seriously. At least, that's how our office started using it. Not to mention support information on Frank's website leads to little actual content. The only thing we've been able to use is time tracking and invoicing and even then we have had to come up with workarounds. I need to reiterate that almost nothing works well or at all in Frank. One can't even enter a physical address properly because their database contains very limited cities and the field is a mandatory drop down. A ten year old could link to a better a more complete database. As far as I'm concerned, Frank is vaporware. Buyer beware. Review Source MBR Maria Belen R. It makes your journey so much easier as you can manage the communication with your client, the files transfers, the financial aspects all in the same website. When you have many projects to manage this is a reliable platform that allows you not to leave unattended items. You can also track the time that you and your team take to develop each task and deliverable. This help you to take care of project health and make sure the projects have the expected profits. Pros I love to have all project aspects together on one single site. Cons It may be a little bit confussing when you get in for the first time and you need to set up a project. In AEC industry this is mandatory in order to grow taking care of profits. The BI section is very user-friendly and allows you to track hours with different filters. The design is very cool and easy going. Also, I really enjoy with the portfolio option. The Project Dashboard is a strong weapon for a management perspective. Pros I set this product up as a temporary solution for my son's high school architecture program, and I was so impressed by how quickly the young people took to it! To me, that means the product has an intuitive design that is accessible to every population. Cons I don't love the interface for myself; I prefer something cleaner, more abstractly intuitive. However, my teenage son took to it instantly, so I may be just behind the times. In 2019, the interface works well for teenagers just beginning to explore architecture project management.
