Pros It is a very powerful tool, with integration capabilities and a strong game for online collaboration. It has more than 20 features that you would like to see in your regular spreadsheet software. Cons It has some limits, especially for regular users. It may function as a CRM, but it is not a CRM. Pros I like many things about Airtable, but if I had to choose one, I would say I like its flexibility. Each table can be customized with text, numbers, attachments, and links to data in other tables. It has 100s of prebuilt templates for tracking marketing campaigns, content calendars, product roadmaps, product-planning, asset production and customer insights. You can also create tables easy with AI tools, without needing any code. Cons Airtable has a per-user pricing model that can be pricey for users who are just starting out. It's pretty much designed like an Excel workbook with columns that can be filtered and grouped. I found it very easy to use, especially since it is so similar in design to Excel. I say it's also like GoogleDocs in that it's a collaborative document that can be updated at will. Cons Unlike software like Jira, you have to keep checking your particular Airtable link to see if changes have been made to your workflow. I've made it a part of basically every publication and content hygiene process we have, and have recommended it to all our clients. If you work in marketing, this tool should definitely be at the top of your software stack. Pros Airtable has been a genuinely game-changing piece of software for my business. I can't think of another tool that makes managing the content lifecycle so effortless. The way you can organise bases, set up automations, and easily manage everything from social media to email campaigns to content assets is exceptional, to the point where I've made it an integral part of our content processes with clients. Cons Overall, Airtable is an excellent tool. If I was being picky, the two negatives that have stood out to me are the pricing (it gets quite expensive if you have multiple users working in a base) and the fact that it's not great at certain types of data management due to the way records work. You can't necessarily replicate everything you can do in Excel/Sheets here; it's much better as a way to track and manage assets than as a mathematical tool. Pros Endless customizations, their interfaces, automations, and the Zapier connection. Once you understand the platform, you can organize your data and build interfaces for staff to work within that data for just about anything. If you deal with data and you want an amazing way to view your data, look no further. Cons The basics are easy to understand the higher level knowledge takes time to wrap your head around. However, this isn't specific to Airtable, you have to rethink the way you store and access data. This isn't Excel, it's a relational databases. Keep that in mind and you'll be on the right direction. Pros We have a great team member that was a leader for us to set our Airtable to what it is today. He is in constant communication with Airtable to keep up on all the features. As a team we would all 100% confirm that we love it! Cons There isn’t any negatives, it’s a little to learn but trust me it’s extremely user friendly. Pros Using Airtable, I am able to efficiently organize and show data from a wide variety of sources with no effort. The visually pleasing interface is also a plus. It's useful for creating databases and keeping data organized in tables. It's very helpful for me because it has an extension function similar to scripting, which allows me to automate a number of tasks. Cons We need to upgrade the scripting for Airtable so that we can do things like connect to a new backend without having to import libraries from other programming languages.
