I used it to get organized for planning a large-scale event and have vendors, budgets, timelines all tracked in one place. It’s also been a godsend for helping me keep track of freelance projects, with invoices, client feedback and everything else in one central hub. Pros I love that Airtable has the flexibility of a spreadsheet with the power of a database. For instance, I used it to schedule a content calendar, connecting articles with deadlines, collaborators and status updates. Customizable views (grid, calendar, Kanban, etc.) allow you to visualize your data in multiple ways. As a certified builder, I've used Airtable for all kinds of projects and it always helps me ship things fast. I'm probably a bit biased but it's honestly changed the way I build workflows. Pros Airtable is genuinely intuitive. I love how easy it is to customize everything. Being able to automate with n8n and now build truly powerful surfaces with Omni is a huge plus. The brand redesign looks fantastic and it's never been easier to add Airtable to your workflow. Cons Honestly, nothing major. It's like Excel with a facelift. I can change it to suit my needs and have used it for several different ideas. Pros The free version is more than enough. I love the colouring and full customisability. Great across all genres. Cons Sometimes it would freeze when saving, but eventually it would work and no data was lost. I presume this is because my colleagues where not familiar with Airtable (they thought it was only for finance managers) and I deployed it in a new way. I made a page with a couple subpages, where my colleagues can find monthly posts with short summaries of legal news about AI. For instance, what new EU legislation was passed, how AI affects company policies, etc. Even more, my team is planning to start more projects in Airtable:) Pros Firstly, the fact that you can deploy your creativity and the tools provided by Airtable allow you to. Honestly, I can't compare it to other products simply because I don't know any analogs. Google tables or Microsoft excel are far more boring to work with, and most importantly, don't give you the fictionality to be as creative as you want. By being creative I mean making tables that look aesthetically pleasing (not boring like excel), nicely design interfaces of your page, link different parts of one page to another one. Secondly, the way you can collaborate with you team is on another level compared to Airtables' rivals. Another advantage is the fact that you have two different interfaces. One that is published to everybody, and the other that is open only to you. I find this very useful. Cons Probably the fact that the website lags sometimes. This is especially visible when I switch between pages of my published base. It takes a second-two to load the page (my internet is super fast and my Mac is brand new so that's not the reason). Also, the guide that displays templates is not very useful if you don't intend to make a page about finance, hiring or managing teams. I made a page about laws governing the use of AI, but I ended up using a template for hiring people, which is a totally different topic, as I didn't have another option. Would be cool if the company broadened the topics of the templates and had some touching the topics of: blog posting, reviewing legislation, posting news. Review Source SB Sabre B. Cons Honestly not a lot stands out as a con to me when it comes to Airtable. The only thing I can think of is that it was a little hard to get started because I was having to learn all the functions. Not sure how that meeting went, but it's confusing. Pros In its previous life, it used to have a wide range of uses, including CRMs, project management, and content calendars (and the freemium to use all of that is generous). Cons The biggest issue is that they changed course, from a collaboration tool to an AI platform. I'm not sure how its newest product is different from its current competitors. Pros The fact is, it's absolutely the AI's functionality.
