Pros Timetastic allows our staff to plan their holidays from home and see when everyone else is taking time off. Our staff really like it. Cons Holiday for part time employees can get a little complicated (although it is anyway). It integrates well with both Slack and Google, so all our users are automatically on there, and linked with Google Calendar too. The interface is simple, clean and straight forward. Plus, with an API, we've integrated it into our own management software. Pros It's very affordable and does everything you really need it to when it comes to employee absences. It integrates very nicely with Slack too, prompting me to approve/decline holiday requests, which is very handy. Cons Being able to calculate what an employee is entitled to would be a bonus, but not essential. Overall, I really like the simplicity of it. Review Source CS Christopher S. September 27, 2020 5.0 We use Timetastic to manage the whole companies leave and have done for years now. It's cheap and does exactly what it says on the tin. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Pros Timetastic is simple and quick to use. It doesn't make something that is need to be simple, complex which is important for a product of its type. It makes requesting and approving holiday easy and takes a lot of stress out of the management of the whole process. Not only is it easy to use but it is very cost effective compared to other choices. Cons I find that their API could be extended a little further as there are things that I think it's missing. Our employees and managers can see exactly how much holiday allowance is available/has been used and sick days have become much less irritating. Pros We can see at a glance who will be available. Holiday requests no longer interrupt my workflow. Reports on employee sick/holiday usage. Pricing is excellent. Booking sick leave on an hourly basis is also an excellent feature. September 19, 2018 5.0 My overall experience is great! One of my favourite software we're using at the company :) Pros It's super easy to use and setup. Every one of the team adopted it really quickly. In seconds we was able to manage all the employees' holidays, leaves and compensations. We’re a small business and regularly look to reduce costs, so switching to TimeTastic from another provider saved us around £100 per month (we’re a company of <10 people). On top of that, it ticks all the boxes in terms of functionality and it’s a really simple bit of software to use. Really, it just works! Cons Nothing I can think of. The app could possibly be a little more up to date but the functionality is all there. And any suggestions have been listened to and actioned. The team is great. Pros It's so easy to use. It has made my life as leave/sickness administrator very much simpler and saves me a lot of time. App is great. It's value for money. I like the back-up system. It's easy to use for staff, including using the App when on the go. Cons no negatives. Its easy to amend details like names, entitlement. I have often had to ask for support as I cant work out how to do things (as I am not a technical person) the support team are always very helpful with step by step instructions and still there to help over email even when you don't understand what you are meant to do at first. Pros Really easy to view, navigate, update and change things. Cons I don't like you cant go back when looking at someone calendar, when you were just looking at there entitlement. Having said that it does the job and is easy to use. Thank you Pros Timetastic is easy to use, and as an Administrator I can navigate myself around with ease. Cons Would be good if we could enter a leave date for someone and then the holiday entitlement is calculated. The reporting feature could be better. Would like a more seamless process of being able to identify how many medical appointments someone has had (for example). Would be good to have a trigger when someone exceeds 15 days company sick pay. Or when someone has a high amount of medical appointments, for this to be an alert. Review Source Ben W. " September 18, 2018 5.0 Timetastic makes holiday logging so simple - I love the integrations too. We use Slack and it's great getting a morning notification about who is off that day - it really helps the teams. Pros It is just so simple - nothing is over-complicated, it's very intuitive to navigate. Cons The only thing I can think of is when time back is logged then it shows as a half day off which can be confusing. Having the XML into Outlook is also great as I can see whose in and out at all times. Pros It's very simple for all staff to see whose where and when, and the cost of course! Cons Nothing to be honest. Yes if could do more, but it's just for holidays and leave entitlements, so keep things simple! Timetastic achieves this with ease. Pros I manage leave requests here and it literally could not be easier, the mobile app is also a perfect accompaniment. We are a very flexible team and have bespoke leave requests such as Working Remotely, Birthday Holiday and Doctors Appointment etc. The Wall Chart feature allows me to see at a glance where the team are on any given week. Everyone now has a much better view of the holiday leave used and available. Cons We have staff members in other countries and not all of the public holidays are preprogrammed, it's quite simple to add your own though and you can assign them to teams.
