Pros Easy to set up and get clients going. Clients can also log into their account which i like. Cons Could have a more modern look, i feel like its a little outdated. Wish I could issue partial cc refunds. The "classic" is so much better and functionally usable vs the new interface. Pros cost effectively enables processing ach payments Cons software is a bit convoluted, a lot of important things you have to go through hoops and call in to talk to a rep. often told they have to talk to a 3rd party vendor and can't directly help resulting in a lot of delays, mistakes, frustrations etc. making a simple address change requires weeks of pain as an example. Reason for choosing PaySimple when we first got it, we had immediate access to a manager and had a 'relationship' that helps justify the change. the manager really helped organize and deliver on promises. however, that's not there today so it's been hit and miss. we'll see how things go. Cons We have not found flaws for our business needs at this point but we do not use all the platforms Paysimple has to offer. Reason for choosing PaySimple We previously were only using an in house terminal which made it impossible for us to be able to offer reoccuring billing, invoicing or billing schedules and we found Paysimple to be the most streamlined for us. Cons As a company, we were double billed and had to pay World Pay direct. Tech support was never correct with their trouble shooting and every time tech support said the account was active or working, IT WAS NOT. Pros That we can debit our client fee anywhere without disturbing them and we are getting monthly payment on time. Cons When i complaint about bad list, it never resolve and i even do not know how my client ended up in bad list. We save account numbers then whenever we need them we can not get it from paysimple. Cons right now there is a classic payment set up and new payment set up. It should be configured under the new payment set up. confusing when trying to remove a recurring payment. PaySimple has been one of the best decisions for our AR department. I have seen a positive response from our customers. Especially now after the pandemic, this is a great source to have since technology is key and a more simple way to collect. Pros It is very easy to navigate for me and our customers. Cons There is one feature I would like. Currently there are two different companies that I work for and I would like the option to be able to switch over to each companies portal without having to login each time. Setting up invoices is pretty straightforward. Cons The interface is half old, half new. Some things have been updated, but others haven't. It's not easy to use the FAQ/Help sometimes to find the answer you need. It's not always easy to find/contact the credit card processors because those aren't actually a part of PaySimple and require more calls, emails, and back-and-forth. Review Source WM Wesley M. Rarely can you get a hold of someone same day. As I said... it works, not great, but works. Pros The idea is great. It is easy to use. The processing fees are decent. Cons It does not do what was were told it would do when we signed up. It was supposed to collect a fee on certain transactions and not collect on others and it doesn't know how to tell the two apart. Cons I did not appreciate needing to call PaySimple to revert our payment processing time back to pre-COVID processing time of one business day. So, it was important to me to keep my costs low, without sacrificing functionality. I use PaySimple for everything from invoicing our after school programs to staying on top of automated billing each month. For $34.95/month it beats the hell out of the other big brands I've tried like First Data. Not only do I get more for less, but the customer support has been phenomenal each and every time I call. Pros Ease of use, functionality, ability to generate reports, notices when recurring billing customers have cards that are about to expire. Cons Too long of a checkout process for online sales. I need to pay for Shopify in order to make the online buying process easier on potential introductory and trial members. Owner/President Real Estate Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Auto Debit Changes the Mindset" September 4, 2021 5.0 Pros I use PaySimple to collect monthly rent and loan payments using Recurring Payments. I love it. My Tenants and Borrowers all say they like it too. No need to write, mail or deposit checks. Having it set up as an auto-pay makes it more of a hard reality for the Payers. It's not optional. They can't just hold off mailing for a few days. If they need to delay a payment they need to call me ahead of time, otherwise it's going to cause a Late Charge. Cons I can't think of any cons. The price has gone up several times since I started using it, but it still feels like a very good value for what I get in return and all the work it saves me. Pros The recurring payment feature. Ease of use when taking a payment from a customer. Cons Searching a customer from different screens is very cumbersome. Searching criteria is not consistent from screen to screen. Some screens require first name first and others require last name first.
