Assistant Controller Hospitality Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Easy to use" September 3, 2021 5.0 Paysimple is an easy product to work with except when payments get rejected because they are over the limit set by Paysimple. I then have to contact the client and let them know that they have to resend the payment. Pros On the administrator side, it is easy to use. Cons The caps on client payments is the biggest problem. People have to split their payments into multiple transactions when they reach a certain limit. I find this ridiculous since Paysimple deposits the money and can easily take it out. Plus it takes DAYS for the deposit to hit our bank anyway. Review Source HM Heather M. Very user friendly. I also love the automated reminders that are sent to customers that are recurring payments Cons the reporting left things to be desired. It would be nice if the invoices that were unpaid were on the front page and you didn't have to go into the invoices to search which one was past due. Pros Quite intuitive and easy to manage. It took a little bit of time to get comfortable with the platform, but once I got used to it, I've been really happy with it. We don't have to wait to get checks back, and we no longer need to worry about the security of the payments. Pros We love the simplicity of using it, and sending our customers an invoice with a link for them to pay securely and easily online. Cons There are no modifications needed that we can see. This allows us to save lots of time from processing checks and also lots of money from processing credit cards. Cons Be careful when you first set up PaySimple. We were accidentally set up with credit card processing when we needed to be ACH only (but with an emergency option for credit cards). Since there wasn't a way to hide the credit card feature, it is what most people defaulted to and we lost quite a bit of money to credit card processing fees. Review Source Dillon S. Then came requests for paperwork, and holds on deposits, then came the shut down with no notice. They decided my business model was incompatible with their risk factor assessment, and that the underwriters did not agree with my business model. There was no warning, just a shut down, and I am still not sure if I will get any of my customer data to continue pursuing payments. Pros Love the interface, it made everything look simple. I had a lot of customers and payments in the system at the time they terminated my service. Cons Terrible customer service. Unsure of mobile presence, they seem to have multiple apps for the same thing published. They also do not use their own card processing, but outsource it to a processor, who may or may not be compatible with your business industry. They didn't even try to tell me what was wrong when they terminated our contract. Review Source Response from KickServ June 2, 2015 Thanks for your review. We might be able to set you up with a more liberal processor to keep using the system, give our team a call at 800.466.0992 option 2 to speak with a rep who can see if there is an alternative or high-risk processor available. September 18, 2021 4.0 Pros PaySimple is easy to use and has allowed me to set up payment options for the courses we provide and for our subscription program. It’s been awesome for that but also because I’m able to use it to predict income and deposits. Also… they provide AMAZING customer service and will walk me through any challenges I’m having with the system. Now that I’m comfortable with the system I rarely call in with questions.
