They have a lower charge per transaction and offer electronic check. This saves me about 8 hours a month and money per transaction. They also offer a calendar, but I have yet to make the switch to that at this time. Their customer service has been outstanding. Pros Automatic charging, invoicing, calendar option, lower percentage, and electronic check. We ONLY use Paysimple to process a some ACH payments and we do NOT use credit or debit card services. Because we do NOT use the credit or debit card services they offered to lower the monthly amount that we have to pay. Then sometime later they changed that. When I brought it to their attention they said I had to prove this even though they have the emails that have gone back and forth between us. Pros No comment. Pros My homeowner's association struggled collecting our resident assessments. Previously, we only allowed residents to pay by means of mailing checks to a community management company. With PaySimple, not only were we able to eliminate the management company, but it was also very easy to add a payment option directly on our website. With the payments being logged in PaySimple, we no longer have to spend extra time reconciling our books. October 11, 2017 4.0 It's beneficial for us because our parents can set up auto pay, therefore guaranteeing we receive tuition every month on time. Pros We love that our parents can set up automatic payments each month for tuition. They call it the set it and forget it method. The customer service is superb! They get back to you in a timely manner and were very patient with me as I learned the new system. Cons Instead of depositing the funds a day or two after every payment, it would be nice to save on fees by depositing the money on set days. For us 2 x a month would work. Instead I get multiple deposits throughout the month which causes me to have to input more data entry on our accounting software. It would also be great if they could somehow link to Gradelink so I didn't have to imput the payments into every single account manually. Review Source KA Kate A. This company lies to it's customers and promises services that they don't offer. I tried to cancel our account within the 30 day trial period and they not only didn't issue me return on my payment but charged me for a SECOND month! I've been fighting with them to return our money and they simply are so inept at their own billing that they can't get our return processed. Horrible company, Horrible customer service. October 29, 2014 2.0 Potential customers should be aware that PaySimple has a policy in place of embedding a "powered by" statement (pretty common) as well as an advertisement of their services in each outgoing invoice email you send to your clients. So aside from paying a subscription fee and payment processing fees, you'll also be advertising their business, whether you like it or not. They DO NOT offer an opt-out and have no plans to change these marketing tactics. Pros Platform does what it's suppose to, with little to no problems. Cons Their development team takes forever to fix any potential bugs and/or implement enhancements. Cons I dislike that it takes sometimes 5 days to get the ACH payment in my bank, this is a very long time especially for a small business. PaySimple was the only payment solution that passed all of our tests after we peered past the marketing veil and actually got to test the product. This software made it an easy transition to the world of collecting money electronically. Pros This is an easy software for my clients to use and pay us quickly and easily. Cons We need to wait about a week to get our money in our bank. That length of time seems excessive. Reason for choosing PaySimple It has the best rates for ACH payments with reasonable customer service if I have issues.
