Cons When \[sensitive content hidden\] have units rented it is a little confusing where to put their mailing address and figure out where to add tenant info. I have found the support staff very helpful in answering software questions as I learned the software. Pros I am new as an HOA treasurer. Our previous records were custom made in generic spreadsheets. The functionality provided by PayHOA software is a real step forward in organization and transparency with our HOA unit owners. It's exactly what we needed to stop wasting money on our property management company, which basically just collected money and paid the bills. PayHOA does all this but allows us to see exactly what's happening. Once things are all set up, it's a seamless process month to month. Pros Allows us to easily set up automatic payments from residents. Links with our bank accounts so we can easily keep track of all our expenses. Chat option is wonderful along with the video tutorials, etc. I think the software will get even better over time. Pros User friendly, onboarding very simple for new owners. Communication tab is a good tool as well. Cons Inability to print checks directly from PayHOA. Inability to go back and edit a transaction (memo line etc) after entering a transaction. Support has been excellent, and software is intuitive - multiple software functions at a fair price. Pros Support by the PayHOA staff has been superb - the response time to my numerous questions has been excellent, and answers by the staff are easy to understand and implement. In addition, PayHOA software offers robust functionality at what our condo Board felt was a very reasonable price-point compared to other software firms. Cons Steep learning curve, although that's likely an issue with any similar software product. Pros It is user friendly. I like that condo owners have the ability to pay online and if they mail a check, I can use the system to send over payment confirmation. Sending notices is more convenient than email as well.
