### "PAYHOA is a great tool for your HOA!"

Excellent and all at a reasonable cost. The program enables our HOA to keep records from year to year which are easy to access.

Pros

The program is easy to use and has become the central warehouse for everything to do with our HOA. We use it for accounting, monthly dues collection and are able to even communicate regularly with all owners. Owners are able to communicate with the whole board at once using the system. A great tool!

Cons

Very happy with the program. The program even has reporting features!

easy to navigate, easy to learn, owners' response to software has been positive.

Pros

The owner's portal, document upload and sharing, auto late fees and easy bank reconciliations

Cons

This is an issue with just about all hoa software but I would like the ability to hav a balance sheet with multiple columns showing Operating and Reserve side by side along with total column. As it is now, I download BS and do this extra step in a spreadsheet. Quick menu item link to "chart of accounts"

This software has made it so much easier to manage my properties. It is simple to set up, has excellent customer service, and is extremely reasonably priced. I love that I can tailor each dashboard to meet the needs of each specific community. I am very satisfied with the software.

Cons

There have been a few tech glitches here and there.

Overall I have been pleased with . The staff have been willing to make everything work for us and provided initally training. Even when I made a big mistake in setting up our bank account by using the wrong account number, they were able to fix it for me. I like having everything for the HOA in one package deal for online use and not having to pay management fees to a management company that hardly did anything for us. I can easily manage our HOA from home with minimal time commitment. Sending out automated bills was amazing! We received half the payments on 1.1.25, which was the same day the annual bills were automatically sent out. We were able to collect from all but 4 homeowners before any late fees were assessed. It usually takes us several months to collect from everyone. All, in all, I would recommend PayHOA.

Pros

Great customer service when you can get a hold of them. But they are not always there 24/7 ready to take your call or receive your email. I do like having a system that the entire HOA can have access to, make online payments, receive notifications and bills, and also where we can post important documents like CC&Rs, and homeowners can make Architectural Requests--all online in one place. That is fantastic. It's a website and an accounting system all in one.

Cons

The system is quirky and does not always update automatically with journal entries, etc. Sometimes I have to wait a day for it to update and refresh. Also, I am an accountant, and this system is set up for non-accountants, so sometimes I find it harder to navigate through their system because I am looking for more traditional accounting terms. This is probably a benefit for non-accountants, but frustrating for me at times. I just want to find Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, etc. rather than Payments (incoming or outgoing?), Invoices (to homeowners or from vendors?), or Transactions.

Pros

I really appreciate the fact that I can ask a question of the ChatBot and get a quick. reliable response - and if I need additional assistance, I can get it!

Cons

Sometimes I need an immediate response from a human but that's not always available! Perhaps additional CSreps are needed?

The ease in navigating the plate form. Our HOA rolled this out in October and our homeowners love how easy it is to use

Cons

Some of the billing/invoice procedures cause us some issues. We seem to have problems with double billing or credits

It has been great from the very beginning. They offered us a trial which allowed us to use the system in parallel with our existing platform that made the migration very easy. Support is very responsive, a pleasure to work with, and they make you fell like you are part of the family.

Pros

Ease of use and fantastic support. The Payables module is a real time saver and the reporting is easy to customize and run. We have received positive feedback from our homeowners on the ease of use and they love how easy it is to communicate with the Board.

Cons

Can't think of anything, migration and the support from has been excellent.

\[sensitive content hidden\] is the best. Very helpful and easy to schedule a time to talk and walks me through my thoughts and needs on the portal.

Pros

I love the format of the portal and the ease of the features.

Cons

I wished that some of the tools would automatically email out to the residents when something is added. For example if I create an event on the message board, I wished the link would ask if I wanted the notification to be emailed out. Some way for the residents to know something new has been added to the portal.

The price and features are a good match for our boutique, self-managed HOA. We enjoy having it as an important part of our association. It lends credibility with professional, transparent, third party accounting records.

Pros

Ease of organization and expense tracking, along with vendor pay, are great reasons to use . The features free up time and resources with quick and easy implementation.

Cons

Generally speaking, we are very pleased with the properties of the online portal. It is a very good all around product, where increased customer support, would make it a great product.

Its been ok, ultimately, we are going to be switching programs because it does not have everything we want.

Pros

Ease of emailing specific homeowners and homeowners seem to think the program is easy to use overall.

Cons

Hard to link compliance to homeowners profiles, hard for homeowners to change payment maximum for homeowners.

Overall I am very happy with and their support staff and would recommend them to other communities.

Pros

is very user friendly and intuitive to use. But best of all is their customer service. I couldn’t be happier with the help their team provides.

Cons

I wish making payment plans and writing off bad debt was easier to do with more customization. I also would like to be able to group invoices by owner instead of individual units.

It has been really positive so far. I love the on the website storage of documents. That has made things convenient for a management committee to put out documents that need to be publicly available.

Pros

It’s really quite convenient and self explanatory for anyone who has any computer knowledge.

Cons

Currently there is not a button to sign out of your account. I’ve found when you close the tab, it signs you out. However, adding a feature or a button to make sure you have signed out before you exit the browser would be helpful.

As a neighborhood, we have more control of what our neighbors are paying for and this software really does the work for YOU! Not to mention how much money we are saving over using a Management Company. You DON'T know what they are really doing with your money. Take control NOW!

It has been a huge help for our HOA board as our building is self managed.

Pros

It is an intuitive system that is easy to use. Additionally, when we need help, we get a quick response.

Cons

We would like some intuitive reports with creating budgets. Like if we wanted a 3% increase, we could enter that and the system would populate the change throughout. Also, you cannot delete categories, I would like to be able to remove them if we no longer use a certain category.

It was easy to setup. Requests for help are responded to quickly and they have great follow-up. I would recommend to other HOAs.

Pros

We are a small HOA and management was all manual. allow us to automate managing our owners and various requests such as ARB requests, invoicing, and managing communications.

Cons

There is not an easy way to assign current year fees paid in the previous year so spend against budget doesn't show correctly. Also need more of owner field available when creating emails, for example ability to send email to owners with their contact information for verification and updates.

It’s excellent. I’m not sure how our HOA managed the community before we had . We’ve literally cut out invoice time and annual dues invoice time by 90%.

Pros

The ability to communicate quickly and effectively with our residents. It’s solved so many communication issues for our HOA.

Cons

I do wish there were social media integration and I think some of the mailing costs should be associated with your plan, to a certain limit.

Pros

The software is easy to use, and the technical support is fantastic. If I ever have a question, I email my support person, and I get an answer back that actually answers my question, sometimes within a few hours, always within 24 hours.

Cons

I have used a few of these programs designed for boards and managers. This is the most comprehensive and easy to use too!

I use for everything but accounts payable. I love that the violation platform is super easy to use. Adding templates takes seconds where other providers it feels like you need a master's degree in programming! The survey option is great! The company is always very accommodating with special requests and bug fixes.

Pros

is super user friendly, more than any other platform I've used.

Cons

There are occasion little glitches that are more of an annoyance than a problem.

The HOA originally was self-governing for the first few years of existence. We then moved to a professional management company that was impersonal, didn't seem to be very knowledgeable and only was adept at sending invoices while charging us for full services. We evaluated other management companies but eventually evaluated moving back to self-governing because there were online management applications such as available. In addition to the cost savings vs. a professional management company, we are able to do ourselves much of what the professional management company provided ourselves.

Pros

provides the HOA Board of Directors and HOA members a central location to handle dues, share documents, send and track violations, initiate requests and more. It has been an extreme time saver.

Cons

Honestly, not really any cons. We have been using it for over two years and not really any cons.

Pros

Takes time to understand the product, but besides that i think it is a great platform. It covers all the basics we need for property management. For the price this is a great product! I have had only one small issue, that im sure will be an easy fix.

Cons

The invoicing and taking payments is a bit confusing. My deposit do not directly link to an invoice, or when i accept a payment i feel like im having to enter in twice.

On the invoicing and payments piece, that double-entry feeling makes sense. When you record a manual payment (check or cash) and then deposit it at the bank, the deposit comes back through your bank feed without enough detail for us to auto-link it. So you'll see a quick step to link that deposit to the original payment. ### "Simplify HOA processes"

By switching to we were able to eliminate spending to HOA management companies and bring everything in house for quick and easy management for all facets.

Pros

The widgets at the top of the page allow me to quickly see what's going on within the HOA without spending a ton of time researching.

Cons

I wish there were a way to add a custom template to mailbox and broadcast. By doing this it'll allow me to create less PDFs outside and then upload. I also wish would partner with a HOA collections agency that way we could streamline everything.

Very simple to use! Great way to keep all of the information in one place. Helpful staff whenever you have a question and they are easy to get in touch with.

Cons

Would like to be able to customize some reports easier. There may be a way and I just have not found it

Pros

Anything and everything needed for HOA management at your finger tips.

Cons

I think it can benefit from some additional management features. More robust calendar, a task section and note section on each HOA account.
