I’ve found TAI TMS to be a really strong tool for keeping operations running smoothly. It makes load organization much easier, so I can quickly see what’s going on and prioritize without digging. The visibility is a big win—it helps me stay ahead of issues instead of reacting late. I also like how it brings the team into one place, which makes collaboration feel more natural and consistent. The automation cuts down on a lot of manual work, and the ability to customize views lets me set things up in a way that actually works for how I operate.

Pros

What I appreciate most about TAI TMS is how much it’s simplified the team's day-to-day through automation and customization. The automation takes a lot of the repetitive work off their plate, which lets them stay focused on managing the operation instead of chasing updates or handling manual tasks. At the same time, the ability to customize workflows makes a big difference—we can set things up in a way that actually matches how each customer works best. It doesn’t feel like I’m forcing my process into the system; it feels like the system adapts to me, which makes everything more efficient and manageable.

Cons

Several sections of Tai seem to be built with LTL in mind. For example, the tariffs, FSC, and accessorial automation for FTL is cumbersome, difficult to manage, and frequently fails.

From Onboarding through going live, we have had a great experience! The Onboarding team helped us set up the system so that our transition was seemless. Many features we have requested through feedback were quickly developed and deployed. Ongoing Support has been very helpful since going live.

Pros

Tai has well developed integrations with a wide variety of partners. The Workflow Automations and Custom reports allow us to create efficiencies and give us the flexibility needed to develop our own processes and integrations. Also, the continued development on the product is great!

Cons

There are some limitiations with available fields in the reporting. Dealing with tariff set up is also complicated. It is not uncommon to encounter bugs/issues after a new release, however they are addressed very quickly.

I´ve had a good experience using Tai TMS in day-to-day 3PL and LTL operations, particularly for shipment quoting, dispatch coordination, tracking, and customer communication. I like how Tai integrates automation, tracking tools, and workflow management to help reduce manual tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Pros

User friendly,modern look, good LTL features for quoting, tracking , dispatching, some automations work ok.

The team at TAI have been nothing but fantastic - everything from "I don't know how to do this" to "can you help fix this" they have been able to support our growth!

Pros

Makes it extremely easy to onboard a rep, get them up to speed quickly on the TMS and allow them to function effectively in a short period of time. Provides all the necessary visual ques so that you always know what status your freight is in at all times.

Cons

They are constantly improving the system and many of the items we have thought were cons, they have updated and fixed.

Most of my experience with Tai has been frustrating. Frequent bugs, unannounced changes, lack of compliance awareness and quality control. I don't recommend.

Pros

Good core features for small-mid sized brokers handling FTL shipments. Active development with frequent updates. EDI automation team is great.

Cons

Too many bugs with slow support resolution. API/webhook specs change without notice, breaking integrations. Most concerning: Poor compliance consciousness and modify/delete their customers' transactions without authorization, creating serious compliance risks.

I love the staff, capabilities and ease of use. It is ideal for LTL and TL freight. If it was easier to work with Partners in the Tai software rather than more barriers, I'd like to be able to refer more customers.

Pros

Responsiveness to capability needs as the supply chain industry changes. Certain features (ex: hyperlinked pro #s) set us apart from other very capable TMS when selling the software. Chatbot feature gives us quick/helpful information and connects us if we need further clarification.

Cons

No updates on system features prior to changing or being removed. There are more limitations in working with our Partners if we refer them to use Tai as their TMS. Higher cost (Marketplace Fee) and more overhead for our company. This also reduces the support and help they are used to.

Pros

TAI offers a one-stop-shop TMS suite to support small businesses like ours. Their software is user friendly and works well for our business needs.

Although their 3rd party provided tariffs offers some of the strongest pricing in the market, tariff holders can oftentimes lack the response or call-to-action required to fully support customers.

Very good. I'm happy with the overall decision and imagine being a Tai customer for a long time to come.

Pros

It's very functional for everything a broker needs in a TMS. It's also incredibly easy to learn and navigate through. Client support is also quick.

Cons

The price increase since we've joined. They allowed us to stay at our price but as we grow we're subject to their new model. To their credit, they have worked with me on pricing but it's still more expensive then anticipated.
