Pros

Easy deployment and implementation, very practical to make schedule in minutes instead of hours. Balance the time of the technicians in minutes, create your technician patterns, make and manage custom filters.

Cons

Some difficulties synchronizing Preventive Maintenance work orders, especially if the CMMS manage forecasting without creating a physical work order.

Better scheduling and full utilization of man hours. It is very easy to see if everyone has been booked or not to full utilization.

Pros

One of the best things about this software is the many different ways to customize the use of it. We are able to have work orders brought in different ways to best fit our needs and from a user point of view you can customize what work orders or teams can be seen at a time, making it easier to schedule.

Cons

The software has a few bugs left to sort out; the biggest issue currently is when a work order is brought over with multiple pieces of equipment and multiple people working on them.

Saved time required for setting up schedules and making changes to it.

Pros

Th software interface is easy to use and gives options to easily modify the interface to liking. Its very easy to navigate and move work orders.

Cons

Data from SAP is not always moved to sockeye. There have been occasions where work order was missing from SAP. Ability to add notes and move work orders from previous weeks will help to make process easier.

Easy to use. I love the fact that I can use sockeye for the ease of file transportation. The best part about it is being able to transfer my files all at once. And the ability for me to trade in my

There are a lot of steps to connect for what I need to use it for. It takes a lot of time for me to switch the data over and to find out what I need to fix when errors are found. There is a long process when working with the system to configure out line colors. I also wish there were more controls I would be able to use when I need to make simple changes and do not want to pull the entire schedule again.

It makes it easier and faster to schedule work orders for the week and to keep track of who is avalible to be scheduled on the days of the week.

Pros

The work orders are easy to schedule and to set up the different shifts. The work orders are easy to set up on the days of the week that they need to be scheduled.

Cons

transfering from SAP to sockeye does not always work and some of the work orders are not on set to the right shifts which makes it harder to schedule.

At this point I see no benefits as I have to continually go back and look for unexpected changes within the scheduling process.

Pros

Ease of scheduling. Until of course all of my work gets messed up and moved to others scheduled. Or schedules to people that are not on the schedule for a date range selected. Continually have to enter by different trades as it does not appear to save them.

Seems to be a quick and easy way to put together a schedule. Planning department are able to save time because of that

Does not interact with pronto Which is our main system so we are always having to open sockeye to get our work order number then open pronto to get the full detail on the work order

Everyday I save time when transferring employee time to our timekeeper program.

Pros

It works well with our timekeeper program, which is called Worksight, when we transfer the employee hours and work order numbers.

Cons

The backlog doesn't show properly at the bottom of the screen. The work orders aren't separated by each department.

Pros

I like how easy it is to use and how easy it is to change. I like the abilty to move and change stuff. I like the ability to just click and drag stuff around.

Cons

I do not like that you have to go in and switch all the time to the correct day. I have had problems with some of my scheduled stuff changing or not saving.

Its easy to schedule employees there work orders and if you need to change some things around it very good with having functions that i dont need to move a lot of things around.

just the fact that the names are so close together you can easily get confused and schedule the wrong employee for that work order.
