Very timely on response and very helpful in resolving issues. They also check back to see if what they were able to help us with, resolved our issues.

Pros

Website gives us everything we need to know about our shipments. We are able to review real time information.

Cons

Closed/delivered packages do not always show correctly. But not always a issue, its a carrier issue.

Very content with the application. It's easy to use and is frequently receiving updates to make the user experience better.

Pros

This is a very user friendly software. It comes with a very good support team that is always available when an issue rises. They constantly keep checking till the issue is resolved.

Cons

The least i like so far is tracking packages via sometimes. It is definitely easy to track them, but sometimes the tracking statuses arent up to date and it can innaccurate when you try to get a report.

is very stable, that is one less thing i have to deal with, which allows me to focus on other IT issues of the day. I also like the fact that you can actually get technical support.

Pros

We have been using for over a year at 6 locations. Perfect uptime, however, today we did have our first issue at one location, and the support team fixed the issue, and we are back in business

Cons

I use various shipping programs; nothing comes to mind as a negative. I suppose if you really want to get into it, you do need a little training to look at the backend features such as expenses or costs, but this is pretty simple.

Pros

Customer Tech Support was outstanding. \[sensitive content hidden\] was very patient and professional. He fixed the problem and corrected a few issues we were not aware of yet. It was a very positive experience, and I am forever grateful for his help.

I have nothing negative to say about . They helped me with the issue promptly, and with care.

Overall I feel like my experience with has been very positive. I like using it as it makes a lot of what I do on a daily basis very easy. Would recommend to other companies for sure.

Pros

Very easy to use. Makes shipping in bulk smooth and simple. Allows us to manage larger orders very easily. Customer service people are extremely helpful!

Cons

The export of tracking information. When you switched from DTS to there was a bit of a learning curve. The tracking export being the biggest problem for me. I'm sure if I played around with it a little bit I could make it better. Also, how easy it to delete entire mappings

Over all it is a sold product with very few issues and almost no down time. We have tried a few different shipping solutions and this is our favorite.

Pros

Makes it easy to select the shipper we want to use and see all of the costs upfront. Probably the best product we have tried.

Cons

The interface to set up and add services takes a little time to learn, but everything you need is there.

We've used for years, and it's our go-to for all shipping. We can't imagine using another provider.

Pros

Ease of use, responsiveness of support. We really like how easy it is to use the software, and how support is always willing to go the extra mile.

Cons

Complexity of install leads to extended time on the phone sometimes. Not a dealbreaker, however, as the end product is worth it.

ShipWise provides a reliable software that allows us to have better control over our entire logistics processes from shipment to delivery. It provides optimized labelling tools that help us distinguish every product during shipping making sure we deliver the right product to the right client. has an elaborate live dashboard that help us track the shipping progress in real time. Its easy and quick integration with inventory management and shipping tools is incredible.

We were assigned a very dedicated team of experts who supports us diligently making sure we have no issues with the product.

Every time I have an issue that I need assistance with, the chat option is super helpful and it is very nice to have a company that responds quickly when you need something.

Pros

Ease of use and Features. The ability to run reports is also super helpful to our company as it helps with providing some of our clients with further shipment details.

Cons

I understand the massive amounts of data, but the system purge after 60 days does sometimes limit us.

Once everything is set up, it's very streamlined and straightforward to use allowing me to ship very quickly

Cons

Configuring the setting can be difficult especially if you're shipping different types of products using different carriers.

We have been using this service for 7 years and they have always been reliable, friendly, and knowledgeable -- working with us at every given turn to meet the needs of our growing small business. Would absolutely recommend to any small or large business with nuanced shipping needs.

Pros

The integration team understands our needs and the software works perfectly with our order management system. It makes comparing all rates as simple as can be and with all the new functionalities that have been incorporated, I would be hard pressed to find a situation that is not covered or isn't currently being worked out.

Cons

The way the amazon shipping services are shopped is a little convoluted and they don't always return the the rates/methods that would work best.. but, 85% of the time it's fine and I know the team is currently working on this with Amazon. (As I understand it, the majority of the issue comes from the Amazon side of things.)

Excellent. I’ve recommended DS to everyone I know with a small business. Their team seems to actually understand the nuisances of shipping and what the customer requires. Also love that the team is small enough that I often get the same support person. Very cool.

Pros

Best customer support team EVER. DS has an amazing team of dedicated \*real humans\* that truly help you get to the bottom of whatever you’re having trouble with. This has made the experience of working with DS so incredible.

Cons

Wish there were customization options. As a small business we don’t use a lot of the options available to customers so it would be cool to remove the stuff that’s not relevant to us. Also would love photos/icons of the products being shipped so it’s easier when you’re picking/packing.

### "DTS and EFulfillment"

Desktop Shipper is the third shipping software we've used in production environment over the last 7 years, and is by the far the best I've encountered. As a 3PL, we ship thousands of packages per day, with the need to account for a multitude of variables in our order data at any given time. DSX has inherently been able to handle these situations in most cases, and the Desktop Shipper team has generally been able to accommodate even our edge cases. Not only would I recommend the software, I have provided real time demonstrations of its usage to mutual 3rd parties.

Pros

The Desktop Shipper team is very helpful, but my favorite aspect is the software itself. I've not previously encountered more accurate rate shopping and/or service exclusions related to carrier shipping rules.

Cons

Some of the client facing staff could use more training in regard to ODBC connections to DSX.

Reason for choosing ShipWise

I was not part of that team, so I cannot confirm.

### "Dynamic Shipping Rate Shopper for Optimal Flow"

Overall, our experience has been great. Whenever we need to add or modify a shipping provider, their support team is always able to assist within a few minutes during business hours.

Pros

The ability to rate shop across all shipping providers is the biggest strength of this software.

Cons

The one by one generating of labels can be a bit slower than a traditional batch label system, but it is also more accurate for dynamic rate shopping.

This is about the most bullet-proof software we use. If we ever need to make a tech call, it's usually about a problem beyond their control.

Pros

Tech support is outstanding. Always available, always thorough.

Can't think of anything. We installed it several years ago and have no issues with it at all.

### "Great money savings"

Pros

I like that it chooses the best price automatically.

Cons

It is a bit clunky in terms of sorting and finding items in search. The names for various items in an order changes based on what page we are on in Desktopshipper. For example: My shopify order id is also called market id & reference id (which are really close to the DesktopShipper ID). It would be nice if they were all called the same thing... and the DESKTOPSHIPPER ID could be modified with a prefix or something else.

Good. 3.5-4 stars is fair. They have allowed us to operate our business, but we are continually looking for something that would offer functionality even if our connection goes down.

Pros

Fairly reliable, lots of integrations to various shipping platforms and fairly customizable

Cons

It is challenging to get someone on the support team that can help. We don't have a clear escalation path when something goes wrong and we need assistance immediately. Documentation for APIs is lacking and little support documentation to go with it. For DesktopShipper to work, you need an internet connection. If something happens and you can't connect, you can't ship. Requires us to push orders up to them constantly, and we had to be creative on how to configure our products.
