The Customer Support is ALWAYS the BEST! Any issues that we have ever had in the past, Desktop Shipper Support, has always been able to take care of. Truly know what they are doing!! Pros I enjoy the ease of use. Extremely easy to get around and download updates, add shipping methods. etc.. Cons It is really hard to say, most of the issues come from other issues that cause DS to not do what it should to. The other is once in a while when a NEW update comes out, it sometimes has to be reconfigured. Not everything, just a couple of minor things. Review Source SH Steve H. The customer service has been top notch - they always solve our problems very quickly. This software is reliable, functional, efficient and works great for our business. Pros I like the rate shop feature. The ability to compare rates for all of our shipping carriers (and choose the cheapest option) has been a real game changer for our business. Cons Since the introduction of the cloud the actual desktop shipper seems dated. But that is not a big deal. Pros The newer versions have removed many of our pain points while trying to implement a simple shipping interface for our shippers. They've also been quite helpful in helping us integrate directly through their services outside of the application. It does exactly what it says it does without interruption. It's easy to train new people to use the software, as well. Pros It's easy to use and gives me everything I need to streamline my shipping. And unless you are very specific with that you want and understand specifically whether they can deliver that, you may be upset with the cost involved to never use it. Pros It uses a Pitney Bowes postage meter and PB has a good price structure Cons It’s overly complicated, unintuitive, and did I say complicated. Cons Sometimes there are challenges to modifying the software to meet your needs (such as the order ID number not being randomly assigned). This is not a major issue though. Especially useful choosing DHL Global Mail Expedited vs. DHL Global Mail Expedited Plus shipping. Cons I've not found anything I dislike or like least about this software.
