Cons The 500MB is low if we take into account other contending VPNs which can offer 1GB or more. It is also at times slow, though not frequently. But on the occasion​ I need to use a VPN service, TunnelBear is the best and easiest way to do it. Pros What I like about TunnelBear is the overall look and feel of the product. I'm a beginner in terms of using VPN, as I don't need it as much, but the presentation of TunnelBear is very easy to follow. The app presents what it does in a cute visual animation which is simple enough to understand. It only shows what you need to know: where you're connecting and how much data you're consuming. And the very user-friendly UI made is very easy to use. Pros With a large network of servers, TunnelBear is one of the fastest and largest country coverage. The blocker option provided is very customizable which allows blocking specific types of tracker and the fact that it is available as browser VPN and as an installation software also makes it widely popular. Sadly, the times when it does not work are significant enough to get annoying. Pros The app is easy to use and very intuitive. Moreover, I love the great UI and product learning experience. The payment process is simple and I like the fact that they give some extra data every month. Cons A lot of times, the VPN starts functioning but stops after a while. There is very minimal configuration. You just select a country and you can establish a VPN connection there. Pros I like that Tunneal Bear is so easy to use. You just click a country and connect. There is nothing difficult. Also the app is very visually appealing. I like the image of the bear in the Mario-like tube popping up in different countries. Another good thing is that the software is very easy to use. Installing takes 2-5 minutes as you can have it in your chrome extensions. And you have a lot of options - 23 different countries! It helped me to be able to use a VPN and I got to choose which country to use out of at least 23 different countries. I think that the free version should offer a little more because I'm not sure that the paid subscriptions are truly worth the money. Pros I liked that TunnelBear had a free version that you can use at anytime and not just for a free trial. The 500mb of data you get for free renews each month, so this is very convenient. There are also a lot of countries you can choose from for your VPN. Cons I'm not sure that the overall quality of this software is so great. I don't think it is necessarily worth the money. 500mb is also a nice amount to get for free, but it can run out quickly, depending on how often you are going to use the VPN. Review Source MA Md A. With 20 countries in a non sketchy software I think its a good option for a good free VPN even though there are many premium features missing. Pros TunnelBear is a free VPN that is trustworthy. It is fully legit and will work as a standard VPN. It includes all of the basic features that a VPN needs to have, and gives and good base experience. Cons The VPN has a lack of premium features due to it being a free VPN. So don’t expect anything like bypassing Netflix regions. There is also a data limit so you don’t get unlimited data with the VPN. Also the bear noise made when switching countries is annoying.
