Cons They could always use more GC options, but they have an awesome selection and wide opportunity for those who select between the options. Pros Tango saves our business tons of hours by providing our users with digital cards. Redemption is fast and easy to understand. It's much better than other competitors. I can't recommend it enough. Cons It came to our attention that some users are complaining about the physical card fee. It charges $3 for it. I wish Tango would waive this fee. This is my only complaint so far. They relieve us of going through various formalities. My opinion is if Tango can find a way to allow the receiver to transfer the value in the giftcard to Payment sites such as Paypal, Payoneer etc, then the awardee have the option to get the cash value. That option will delight freelancers who does some services for a fee for international online portals. I would highly recommend Tango as a good choice when it comes to reward your customers. Pros When the need to reward customers for various reasons arises, Tango has emerged as a reliable, credible gift card service provider. The reason to reward a customer is multiple. It could be genuinely to show appreciation for a customer of his benefit for an organization or it could be to reward a customer for the services he rendered but when due to lack of provision to make a direct payment, organizations use this method of offering a gift card. Whatever requirement may it be, leave it to tango and the rest is assured. Tango gives the freedom for the receiver to select from a variety of redeem options such as amazon, visa debit card etc. which are internationally accepted transaction methods. These cards can be raised for even a few dollars going upto 1000 dollars. The awardee needs to make purchases using the said card. This method is simply and expeditiously done. While the virtual card can be utilized for online transactions, the physical card can be used at POS. However, they will charge approximately us$ 3 for the physical card and postage. Pros I like this program because you can pay multiple people at one time. You fill out a spreadsheet with all the names and payments, and then upload it. That feature is great. Cons There are a few things that could be improved with this program. It is clunky to use. You fill out a spreadsheet and upload to the website for payment to be sent to customers. If anything is even remotely off on your spreadsheet, payments will be delayed. There doesn't seem to be a consistent time of when payments to customers are made, as sometimes it is in a day or two and sometimes not for several days. Customer service and communication with this company is terrible! You cannot easily get ahold of anyone. You cannot call anyone, you have to email and a response can take days. Meanwhile customers are waiting for their payment and you have to field angry calls from them as you wait for Tango to respond. Pros Their API made it possible to seamlessly integrate a vast library of digital rewards directly into our Preferred Patron Customer Loyalty platform. Our participating merchants may now include a rewards catalog that contains gift cards to popular businesses in their area. Having digital rewards available means consumers may choose to trade-in their points for these e-gift cards, directly from their member portal on their mobile devices! We are utilizing it for a variety of needs. The primary use case is to help our sales team in their prospecting efforts and offer an incentive to take a meeting. Additionally, we have used to gift our clients during the holiday, survey winners, and employee recognition. Pros I like that there are no fees to utilize the platform so our entire budget can be used on gifting. That was not the case with a lot of the platforms I researched. It's very easy to use and they have pre-recorded training videos to help with training. It was very quick and simple to get started. Cons I wish there was better reporting on the status of gift cards sent. Currently, to see the status of viewed or redemption you need to look up each person individually. It would be super helpful if you could export a list to see their status so our sales teams know who they may need to follow up with. Additionally, it would be nice if we could send the digital gift card using our own email platform and still have the redemption status tracked. Some clients thought the email was spam since came from a different email address and some got stuck in their company spam filters. It has allowed us to function faster and more efficiently, with a better experience for our users. Cons Some kinks with Salesforce integration at the beginning but now runs smoothly. Cons One of the features where perhaps I would request Tango Card to enhance is to merge the balances of various cards into one card. This will enable users to have one tango card for all the rewards they have received. Pros After trying to find the best kind of incentives for customers, like discounts on our services and finding little engagement, finding Tango with an extensive range of gift card choices that can be used internationally can make a difference. The customer really enjoy being able to select something they value instead of our perception of what they should value. Tango dashboard allows us to keep a tab on the budget for gifts and the integrations are really helpful to automate all the processes. Pros If you're looking for recognizing your employees, stay away from Tango Card. They employ arbitrary policies that are in place in bad faith to weasel employees out of their card balances. The policies they have in place are VERY different from industry standards, especially in the arbitrary and pointless expiration dates on funds before they take them, even after employees have paid taxes on these cards as earnings.
