### "ISL Light during coronavirus lockdown"

We have been using ISL Light to support AJPES users for many years. At the time of the coronavirus lockdown, system administrators had to quickly establish new VPN connections for most employees from their laptops or home computers, requiring additional ISL licenses for a short time. Provisional licenses were provided to us by the service provider immediately upon the first phone call, without additional payment and administration, for which we thank them very much. It's nice to know that you can count on a business partner when you need him.

Costa troppo. Questo mi rende insicuro di continuare conm questa soluzione indefinitamente.

### "Easy set-up, does the job"

While some services were overloaded during the COVID crisis, there have been no technical difficulties with ISL. The service is robust, intuitive and works well.

Pros

There is very low overhead with this software, users don't need to install anything and remote support can be up and running within half a minute from call.

Cons

Running services or applications with elevated privileges on the remote computer is a bit of a hassle.

Very positive for myself and simple for end users too...

Pros

It really does do what it says 'on the tin'....I have used this product for several years and find it invaluable for supporting SME clients around the South of England, but I know I could equally easily deploy it to users anywhere... I also love the fact that the development team are continually coming up with extra features.

Cons

None that I have discovered...it really is easy & intuitive..

Ausgereift und zuverlässig. Durch eigenen Server weiß man das niemand mitliest und was mit den Daten passiert.

Pros

Wir sind von Teamviewer umgestiegen weil wir im Unternehmen keine mietsoftware einsetzten dürfen. ISL bietet alle Funktionen die für Fernwartung nötig sind. Der einmal-Preis ist fair und man hat volle Kontrolle über den eigenen Server.

Cons

Das Filehandling funktioniert.... könnte aber besser sein, deshalb nur 4 Punkte. Trotzdem eine klare Empfehlung!

IT support to a large amount of workers can be done in fraction of a time with this tool.

Pros

It's reliable and fast. Once we have distributed program to all domain computers, support got much easier.

Cons

There is only slight problem working with remote many monitors. Sometimes you switch to second monitor and get first one.

My overall experience has been positive. This remote desktop solution has proven to be reliable and easy to use in all of my interactions with it. From the initial registration to accessing and controlling the remote computers, the entire process has been very smooth and hassle-free.

Pros

I really liked how easy it was to use. From the moment I signed up, I was able to start accessing and controlling remote computers in a matter of seconds. I didn't need to download any additional software or deal with complicated setup.

Cons

What I liked least was that on some occasions I experienced connection problems. Although in most cases I was able to access and control the remote computers without any problems, on a few occasions the connection was dropped or I experienced some delay in screen transmission.

VERY EASY TO INSTALL AND SETUP ON THE REMOTE WORKSTATIONS IN THE REMOTE OFFICE. VERY SIMPLE LOGIN AND PASSWORD SETUP

Cons

LITTLE DIFFICULT GETTING THE PRINTER ON THE SUPPORT COMPUTER SETUP ON THE CLIENT COMPUTERS SO THAT PRINTING OF NECESSARY REPORTS COULD BE CONTROLLED BY THE SUPPORT WORKSTATION.

Really good and easy to use software for both us IT and the End user, not overcomplicated and I think anyone could use it

Pros

Remote restarts are really good, we use when quick assist does not work on the client machine and being able to log into the admin account remotely is a life saver

Cons

Session codes being 8 digits is a bit of a pain sometimes, I think a 6 digit code is good enough.

Pros

I like the Cost- and the ease of use of this tool. I started with using the prepaid version and later on used the subscription, the change to the latter product was seamless, Excellent.

Cons

I could not find a way to create useage reports, to be able to easily create the bills to my endcustomers for the support they got

Chère Corinne, Merci beaucoup pour votre avis. Nous suggérons d'utiliser les fonctionnalités multi-moniteurs d'ISL Light pour faciliter le processus de travail avec plusieurs moniteurs. Dans une session ISL Light, un opérateur peut ouvrir chaque moniteur dans une fenêtre de session distincte. Cela permet à l'opérateur de placer chaque moniteur à l'endroit le plus pratique pour lui, par exemple sur ses propres moniteurs séparés afin qu'il puisse travailler sur l'ordinateur distant comme s'il était assis devant. Cette fonctionnalité est disponible lors de la connexion à un ordinateur Linux ou macOS par n'importe quel moyen, et lors de la connexion à un ordinateur Windows via ISL AlwaysOn. ISL Light offre également la possibilité de basculer le moniteur visible dans une fenêtre de session, afin qu'un opérateur puisse choisir celui qu'il souhaite voir indépendamment, ou il peut afficher tous les moniteurs dans la même fenêtre s'il le souhaite. https://help.islonline.com/37390/374319

Having tried many other remote products finding one that has all the features I required and delivering them at such a competitive price was a natural winner for me.

Pros

Ease of use, easy to manage and deploy, being able to respond to any situation on any device to any device in a timely manner is awesome.

Cons

nothing, the product is excellent, some minor wishes for the mobile app but nothing seriously upsetting

Pros

Being able to do remote support directly on our customers systems is essential for us, and with ISL it's really easy.

Cons

Usin OnPrem ISL, the ISL Light client for Mac requires the client to make a lot of settings (more likely a Mac/Apple issue, but none the less it's impacting the use of ISL Light).
