Very good overall, enjoy using the product and its yet to come up short.

Pros

Price is pretty good, I swap from Logmein to this product and never looked back. Logmein was over 3k and they refused to budge so took up with ISL instead.

Cons

Not come across any show stoppers as yet with this product

Quizá a veces es un poco complejo para el usuario la conexión, pero normalmente es por su poco desconocimiento de informática.

Tivemos alguma dificuldade inicial em implementar em todos os clientes e tempos alguma dificuldade em gerir computadores que tenham sido instalados por funcionários que já não se encontram na empresa.

Dear Dejan, thank you for your review. Regarding your suggestion, we do not currently support preventing sleep on a remote computer when it is connected via an on-demand session. However, if you are connected to a remote unattended computer (via ISL AlwaysOn), the remote computer is prevented from sleeping. If you notice that the remote computer goes to sleep during an unattended access session, please provide us with more information about this case (operating system of the remote computer, versions of ISL Light/ ISL AlwaysOn). Super, ich möchte diese Anwendung nicht missen.

Pros

Das einfache und schnelle Verbinden mit einem Desktop Computer einer Mitarbeiterin. Das Verbinden auf meinen PC im Home Office, ohne dass jemand vor Ort am PC sein muss.

Cons

Dass die User das Icon auf dem Desktop suchen müssen, weil sie es nicht kennen. Samsung Knox hat eine neue Funktion, mit der ich direkt das öffnen der Verbindungsanfrage auf der Anwenderseite provozieren kann, ohne dass sie es suchen muss. Danach muss nur noch der Code von der MA eingegeben werden, das würde die Anwendung von ISL deutlich einfacher und schneller machen.

\- unglaublich stabiler ISLAlwaysOn-Client - gut funktionierendes RDP-Tunneling - schlechtes Handling von unterschiedlichen Monitorauflösungen & Multi-Monitor-Systemen - solides Features Set, welches aber nicht ganz mit den Leadern in der Branche mithalten kann - Preis-Leistung ist i.O., aber nicht herausragend

Pros

\[1\] Die Robustheit des ISLAlwaysOn-Clients ist sensationell. In ca. 10 Jahren Einsatz auf ca. 120+ Geräten ist der Client bisher nur ein einziges(!!!) Mal auf einem einzigen Client abgestürzt und läuft ansonsten EXTREM stabil. \[2\] Wir verwenden häufig das RDP-Tunneling durch die ISL-Verbindung. Das funktioniert sehr gut und zuverlässig. \[3\] Wir schätzen, dass ISL sich auf ein bestimmtes Features Set beschränkt und nicht versucht, noch Tausend andere Dinge in die Software zu quetschen (wie z.B. Antivirus o.ä.) wie gewisse Konkurrenten.

Cons

Die Übertragung von Tastenkombinationen funktioniert nur eingschränkt. Der Umgang mit unterschiedlichen Monitorauflösungen und Multi-Monitor-Systemen ist nicht zufriedenstellen. Generell: Viele Dinge funktionieren zwar, sind aber umständlicher und weniger mächtig als bei gewissen Konkurrenten (z.B. TeamViewer). Ein Beispiel: Die Gliederung/Zuweisung/Sortierung von gespeicherten ISLAlwaysOn-Verbindungen in Gruppen ist weder übersichtlich noch besonders praktisch.

Wir haben uns nicht \*gegen\* eine Alternative entschieden, sondern \*dafür\*, 2 Produkte einzusetzen. Wir haben immer wieder Einzel-Situationen, in denen TeamViewer Probleme macht, dann haben wir ISLOnline als robuste Fallback-Lösung mit etwas weniger Komfort. Wir setzen die zwei Lösungen mit ihren unterschiedlichen Stärken parallel ein.

### "Great for on-demand remote support"

Pros

Work's great for us - we have a link on our website for customers to use which takes them to a branded ISL page for them to enter the support code. Has the ability to take full admin access as well which is great for those locked down scenarios. The new iOS/Android option is fantastic for supporting mobile apps!

Cons

No real issues from our side - if our help desk staff were able to easily see who is using the sessions that would help us. (Occasionally someone might leave a session open which uses a license)

Nos hemos acomodado a esta aplicación y la tenemos implementada en todos los pcs de nuestros clientes. Uso sencillo de implementar y de usar. Entre las mejores cosas es la instalación desatendida y el poder conectar con los clientes de forma independiente.

Cons

Hay veces que se me complica un poco la cosa al conectar con Mac pero no tiene nada que ver con ISL, son las restricciones de Apple, por lo demás es perfecto!!

Moved away from one of the leading platforms, some features are better others not quite there. Overall the platform is fine and allows us to conduct remote support well.

Pros

Customer service and support. Keen to engage and help. Simple pricing.

Cons

File sharing could be improved. Quality of connection sometimes lags.

For us ISL Online is a 9 out of 10 star solution

Pros

We use the self-hosted version of ISL and our customers really appreciate the fact that security-critical connections do not have to be routed via a third-party provider. The usage is simple and self-explanatory. And customers can explicitly disable the use of ISL in the firewall if they want to. This creates trust and is not possible in this form with competitors.

Cons

Screen sharing doesn't really work well for us. We might have to take a closer look again. Accessing it on the go via the Android app is impractical. And we also lack remote control from mobile devices.

We use it only for remote support, but we know that there are a lot of other functionalities. It is perfect for our use, it is offer all what we need and it is easy to use.

Pros

It just work almost everywhere. It is also very easy to configure some next generation firewalls as in most cases, you can just tell that you are using ISL. Very friendly for helpdesk and for customer.

Cons

Maybe downloading client. Some customers sometimes have a problem to find where is located this download.

Pros

The remote viewing and control is responsive. Many products these days are losing their responsiveness and are quite laggy. I use 4 different tools and ISL Light is the best experience (and ability to view multiple monitors and transfer files).

Cons

I only use it for remote support of users. There's not much I dislike about it, the hardest part is getting some users online with it but I'm not sure there is much that can be done to make it easier than it already is.

Amazing. The best remote solution I have used.

Pros

ISL is extremely easy to deploy. It is versatile and works on pretty much ANY OS. I use it daily on Linux (OpenSUSE) and Windows.

Cons

We need a flatpak and/or snap package! Very receptive developer.

Pros

It’s a secure single session tools. It’s really easy for clients to get connected!

Cons

Mac permissions are terrible, all remote access tools have the same challenges? But I wish there was a better way!

Für uns seit Jahren die beste, und einfachste Lösung für AlwaysOn und Fernzugriff.

Pros

der absolute Vorteil ist, dass man die Lösungen dank ICP als On-Promise betreiben kann, und somit die Zufriffswege absolut klar sind, was auch dem Datenschutz zugute kommt.

Cons

der Zugriff auf mobile Plattformen, primär iOS ist kaum sinnvol lnutzbar, hier wäre eine Steuerbarkeit der Oberfläche toll. Ansonsten ist es einfahc ein tolles, ausgereiftes Produkt.

### "Great product"

I use ISL on a daily basis and I can't imagine running my business without it. I can solve my customer's problems within minutes which adds a lot of value.

Pros

Ease of use, the user interface is not cluttered, stable connections...

Cons

1\. File sharing from customers to me is not working (it doesn't open the dialogue box to choose the file). 2. When connecting to a Mac user I can only see a black screen and the customer's mouse moving.3. When connecting with a mobile app I cannot move the mouse cursor, I can just watch the screen

ISL is a Slovenian product and I always choose local brands.
