I use ISL on a daily basis and I can't imagine running my business without it. I can solve my customer's problems within minutes which adds a lot of value.

Pros

Ease of use, the user interface is not cluttered, stable connections...

Cons

1\. File sharing from customers to me is not working (it doesn't open the dialogue box to choose the file). 2. When connecting to a Mac user I can only see a black screen and the customer's mouse moving.3. When connecting with a mobile app I cannot move the mouse cursor, I can just watch the screen

ISL is a Slovenian product and I always choose local brands.

### "Remote access through CG-NAT"

The support people are really keen and on the ball - we tried (! accidentally; but that's the way we are... !) a few curve-balls and they responded. Our custom requirements could be met or at least we know how to cater for them so all good. Seems to work well; and we've not had to reconfigure since it's been up and running; which is great.

Pros

Full fibre is great; but CG-NAT isn't - no port forwarding. But ISL Light allowed us to quickly set up unattended remote access to the relevant server/desktops that we'd simply used RDP (through altered port and firewall...) before. Works; simple email of instructions to users and we're up and running.

Cons

The only thing that was a bit awkward until explained was the use of custom RDP ports...

There are a lot of products out there but ISl allows you so many options including white labelling the product to make it your own. The support is great & the sales guys are fair & realistic on price.

Pros

The support is excellent & the sales prople are fair & reasonable .

Cons

I haven’t had too many issues except a few customers who were incapable of installing the software from a link or website.

### "it does what it is designed for"

We gladly help the customer as quickly as possible by watching them, and so solve their problems immediately and quickly. No matter what internet connection they have, or how fast the PC is. We have found a solution in ISL that can be started easily and quickly also by less useful users. We have been working for years with ISL (on-prem) and had never problems with it.

Pros

quick, simple, it does what it has to do. picking up after restarting, logging off / logging in works very well

Cons

The only thing we missed in ISL Light is the option to disable using keyboard or mouse on the client side. Really super frustrating when people want to click themselves.

I have been happy with this product so far. I have not had a need to call in for technical support yet.

Pros

I like the ability that we can just direct the user to the ISL landing page and remotely join a session. It seems fairly easy for our users to be able to get connected.

Cons

Previously we were finding it a bit more difficult to support users that were on MAC, trying to walk them through the system preferences window options. It seems to have improved now though.

Pros

It just gets better and better, I have tried the rest and they dont come close. As an IT professional this is the one for me.

Cons

Nothing, it works GREAT. I cant think of anything I dont like about ISL. Great product, GREAT support.

### "ISL Light Server License - Remote Support at a Glance"

With ISL Always On I can access my computers (even via RDP) and work remotely. In the end, I would really recommend it if you are looking for a solution that you can run yourself.

Pros

In 2011 we were looking for a solution which was able to run on on own server. Finally, after comparing existing solutions (also from price perspective) we started with ISL Light.Since then we experience a good and stable solution, which is regularly updated and maintained. The software is running without issues and is just doing what we expect from it - helping us in remote support, working from home (also via RDP) and my favorite aspect -> installed in my own environment.

Cons

The admin area to update and maintenance the software could be a little bit more modern, but finally everything is reachable and working.

### "Happy with ISL Online"

Happy, affordable, does the job and only that job (remote access). Convenient. All I want is something that gets the job done and this qualifies.

Pros

Inexpensive compared to the competition. We were using logmein Rescue at the time and when they changed their pricing policies and started jacking up prices, we started shopping around for other solutions. ISL Online does the job well. We use ISL to service our clients who run our Email Security platform for troubleshooting purposes and so far we've never had any outages or issues with this remote access tool. Have been using it for over 5 years.

Cons

It's not as "Snappy" as Logmein Rescue but you can't have everything. However have tried other emergency remote access tools and they are pretty similar in terms of responsiveness.

I am solving critical server problems on multiple sites with unattended access and have used this software now for over 9 years without any issues - it just gets better to use every year !

Pros

This product is easy to use and navigate around the different options within the interface It is also very easy for the end client to join a session and make the connection to allow remote support

Facilidad y rapidez en las asistencias a clientes, en pocos pasos estamos en contacto con el cliente y asistiéndole en su problema

Quizás en la descarga del software, cuando está en el proceso, no queda muy claro (para el cliente) si volver a "unirse a sesión" o esperar algún permiso solicitado por Windows para la ejecución del programa. Es un proceso que se nos repite con frecuencia (sólo hay que esperar un poco, pero en pantalla el cliente, no sabe si ya está en marcha o no)

Pros

I can link directly to the ISL client download in our program so that clients can download it with just one click.

Cons

When clients can't run ISL from the program, I have to direct them to the site via browser and clients often type it wrong and don't write it correctly in google on the first try.

We have never had a problem using the software. Installing the server side on premise has been easy and their support is always great.

Pros

This software is perfect fot Remote IT support and IT services, plus having it on premise makes it feel more reliable.

Cons

In some scenarios, it can be difficult for a remote user using MacOS to enable all the necessary privacy policies to make the software work.
