Pros Folder Lock gives me piece of mind that my confidential files are kept secure. Also very easy to setup and configure on my computer. This program has done everything it claimed to do and was affordable compared to many other options out there. For just personal use, this is just right. Pros I started needing folder lock when my child started to learn how to navigate my phone. And I am the type when I see a great gift for them I screenshot it, that way I can go back through and remember what I wanted to get them for Christmas! This way it's a total surprise and their noisy eyes have no idea! I love it so much though, that I've recently started using it some for work documents while working at home. Pros Folder lock have great features, that are really helpful for protecting all sort of data you wish to. You can easily back up your data on the cloud server automatically, protect your portable storage and a very good encryption for your files . It's easy to use and works as expected in carrying out this function. Pros Folder Lock is excellent for encrypting files, protecting USB and DVD media. I also use it for shredding files and cleaning my computer's history occasionally. In all these activities it does well. Cons Sometimes when I have tried to lock a folder or files, the software indicates that it is locked, but it isn't. I can shut down Folder Lock and still open the supposedly locked files. I like it a lot. Pros I like that it's easy t use and I can feel comfortable with locking important reports away in it and having that information be secure. Cons There was a few times since we've purchased this product that I had to prove we already paid for the full plan and had to re-submit the serial number and registration. There have been times in the past where I will update my computer in some way and random files will go missing or get deleted. It could have been user error, but with Folder Lock I know they will be safe and will always be there when I need to access them. Pros The thing I like most is that it is really easy to use. I really like the peace of mind that my work isn't going to be accidentally deleted as long as I have it locked in the folder. Cons The thing I like least is that I cannot access my stuff on my personal computer without having to put in a master password. I wish there was an option to just type in a PIN instead. One can encrypt folders as well as lock folders that allows you to hide the folder from prying eyes. It can even be used to create an encrypted USB drive. I have needed to contact support over the years and they have been very responsive and great at being helpful. Cons Must buy multiple copies to use on each computer. You can create "lockers" that have a high level of encryption. The locker itself is encrypted and can be backed up even to an unencrypted backup since the locker itself is encrypted. Cons It can sometimes be difficult to discern what certain options mean and if you close the locker it can crash your computer if anything is still in memory or if a program is still interacting with a file in the locker in any way. Pros This app is very simple to use and is a valuable tool to protect sensitive data like personal financial information, personal correspondence and any other information you feel you don’t want others to have access to. I find Folder Lock to be an excellent solution and would not have purchased the new version if I was anything less. Pros I've used Folder Lock in the past with older versions and gravitated back to it again for it's secure use. There are some things for your eyes only and I feel confident that my files are secure. I also like the added feature of being able to secure a portable drive. Not a feature that I was looking for originally but an added plus that I've already started using. Cons I'm still "new" with the latest version and find it to be a little clunky. I'm not sure as to declare the software clunky or I need to have a better handle on what I'm doing. Have not tried the mobile versions, but that will be next as we use tablets in our business. Pros The ability to lock files, folders, and drives is the key feature of Folder Lock. With a health and wellness business these features are critical to ensure customer privacy and safeguard other business information. Cons There is no real downside to the software. There are several options including select mobile versions. One thing I have not seen specifically is usability on remote web servers. This would appeal to me the most. Review Source Shishir C. Bit difficult to use initially but later you will be used to it. Pros It actually encrypts everything you want to lock so works perfectly fine. It's impossible to hack it and get it through locked folders. Cons Since its so secured that sometime it takes time to open a heavy folder. I believe that 's because it encrypts each and every stuff inside the folder.
