Pros Das Frontend hat eine gute Usability für den Anwender und die Einrichtung im Backend war dank eines gut gemachten Handbuchs auch sehr gut selbst zu bewältigen. Der Support per Mail verlief auch immer sehr zeitnah. Cons Die Verbindung zur eigenen E-Mail-Adresse war mit Hindernissen verbunden. Viele wünschen sich hier eine Lösung, bei der sie die Abläufe selbst kontrollieren und Ausnahmen für Einzelfälle festlegen können, um den Überblick zu behalten. Ich finde es gut, lokale Unternehmen zu unterstützen und auch die Mitarbeitenden bei Converia waren sehr freundlich. Aber an vielen Stellen muss die Plattform einfach noch Benutzer\*innenfreundlicher werden. So lange Teilnehmer\*innen ihre Buchung nicht selbst verwalten können, würde ich die Plattform nicht weiterempfehlen. Pros Gut gefallen hat mir der freundliche Kundensupport, das effiziente und gut individualisierbare Peer-Review-Verfahren, die angenehme Arbeitsoberfläche im Backend sowie das Arbeiten mit der Funktion Arbeitsabläufe. Cons Der massivste Nachteil war, dass Teilnehmer\*innen ihre Buchung nicht selbständig bearbeiten konnten und dadurch viel Arbeit bei der Koordination entstand und Unmut auf beiden Seiten. Die Erstelltung des Veranstaltungskalenders ist an vielen Stellen noch sehr hakelig. So kann man z.B. den Track einer einmal erstellten Veranstaltung im Kalender nicht nachträglich ändern. Auch kann man die Session-Moderation nicht separat eintragen. Schließlich ist die Erstellung von Teilnehmer\*innenlisten im Backend nicht individuell konfigurierbar. Dafür mussten wir immer über den Support gehen, was unnötige Wartezeiten und Arbeit erzeugt hat. Dass CMS System ist gut verständlich. Support kann aber muss nicht dazu gebucht werden. Die Erstellung einer Submission Plattform + Bewertungen konnte von uns ohne Support durchgeführt werden. Würde ich jederzeit wieder in Anspruch nehmen falls benötigt. Wir hatten leider deutlich weniger Beitragseinreichungen als geplant, dadurch ist der Preis pro Einreichung bei uns doch sehr hoch ausgefallen. Da kann Converia jedoch nichts dafür, und uns war das von vornherein klar, dass es die Mindestauftragssumme gibt. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden. Pros Die TU Ilmenau nutzt das System bereits seit 2008 und seither in enger Abstimmung mit den Softwareentwicklern in Kontakt, um neue Features zu implementieren, Prozesse zu verbessern bzw. zu optimieren. Es hat eine benutzerfreundliche Oberfläche ist selbsterklärend zu konfigurieren und auch bei Teilprozessen einer Veranstaltungsanmeldung nutzbar. Es bildet alle Prozesse einer modernen Veranstaltungsorganisation ab. Administrative Prozesse werden verschlankt, es erfolgt ein permanentes Feedback an den Nutzer, die Nutzerkonten sind übersichtlich dargestellt. Es erfolgt in regelmäßigen Abständen ein Changelog. Änderungswünsche/Implementierung neuer Tools werden zeitnah umgesetzt. Die Zusammenarbeit mit dem Serviceteam ist sehr angenehm, zuverlässig und konstruktiv. Cons Die Integration in unsere Geschäftsprozesse war nicht schwierig. Reasons for choosing Converia Multifunktionale Nutzung aller Tools in der Gesamtheit oder auch in Teilen.
